Thanks, Eddie. There really is nowhere better than that West Coast of Scotland. I’m planning a camping trip to Arran and Mull next week. I hope the temperatures have risen by then 🥶⛺️❄️
I’m so glad you’ve began posting again, I also feel rather honoured that during your absence you took time not only to reply to my comments but also give my channel a look and offer support 👍. I wondered why it took 3 days for this video to come up in my feed. Seems my past subscription got annulled certainly not of my knowledge. I also have had very trying audio issues but none so lengthy as yours. I totally understand your reaction but at least now your back 😃 I also have you to thank that I now have the same Zero gravity touring screen fitted. It helps lift the turbulent air to the top of my helmet and around my shoulders. Much better than the double bubble did. I taunted TMF for not reviewing the ZZR whilst he was gushing about many of its competitors. I really can’t wait to see him tootle along country lanes stuck behind a white van. He might even take it on the motorway and risk getting it up to the “National’s “😂 With any luck I might even learn how to wash it within an inch of its life but I sense that the old car park turn around might just be a step too far. Loving my “last of its breed 2021 registered 2020 Performance Sport and actually quite glad they upgraded to traction control. The OEM tyres aren’t great on cold roads. My wife is excited to ride pillion screaming with delight as I wind up the “ Beast ” best bike ever made without doubt 👍
I can’t get my wife anywhere near the back of my bike. My boys are just about big enough to ride pillion so I’m excited to get them on the back. Yes, looking forward to the TMF review. We know he’ll love it. I might have to ask Zero Gravity for a sponsorship deal 😉
@@TheMotoExplorer My wife was brought up in the Philippines so she's used to riding six up, sitting on the handlebars or hanging off the luggage rack. I experienced it myself whilst over there, all on a two Stroke. She's also paralysed in one leg due to childhood accident, getting on and off is difficult, but boy does she love that ZZR. On our recent run you'll have heard me say what a weight your putting on me. She's only about 47kg but going downhill she slid forwards, due to her bad leg she can't push herself back. I bought my teenage son and daughter kit but they've yet to try it. Now they see their mum's not scared they might give it a go.
@@TheMotoExplorer Just watched the TMF review, a bit sad to see him tootling along a country lane ( I'm aware I've done that myself but only during running in). Saw him get up to 50 in a 40 Wow that was daring. He did wind the throttle a bit whilst switching the camera to himself, but I'm not at all convinced he was anything like giving it some Beans 😵He was impressed with the bike but I doubt he gave a real impression to those watching.
@@TheMotoExplorer I’ve been quite blunt with him in the comments of a few of his videos. He also picked up my criticism on another channel. I used to watch all his reviews, but now Lamb chops rides is my first go to, he’ll hammer the pants off a bike. Although his recent Triumph 660 sport video was rather too gushing for me🤮 TMF is my go to for “ So let me tell you a little more about the bike”. He’s the same in every review, stuck behind a white van on a country lane with the new Bussa. He either wasn’t invited or “had other commitments?” for its launch, not surprising as they all were tanning the pants off on a runway., no white vans in sight 😂
Ayup mate your return to RUclips was short lived I hope nothing bads happened and your ok.your videos inspired me to go to isle of Skye last year and loved the trip . Thank you 👍
Glad to see you out there having fun on the ZZR. I love the ZZR1400, the sound and the style. But for now, the Yzf1000R is my only form of transport. I`m a all year/all weather rider on my Yzf and I get that "1st ride of the season" feeling every day, even through the Mexican lager plague, was so much fun riding on empty roads. ;) Over the past year, I have been getting my ZZR and Z H2 fix from *Goblin RIDES* here on youtube. Welcome back. :) P.s. @9:43 You mentioned, you have a Shoei GT Air mkII. I have the GT Air mkII ~ Deviation TC-9 and would like to know... How did you mount your camera on the *Weirdly shaped* chin bar, without blocking access to the air intake?
Thanks for your comment. I admire anybody who rides through the winters in the UK. I’m not sure I’m made of tough enough stuff 😃. I’ve just subscribed to goblin rides - looking forward to watching their vids. Yes, I bought a chin mount from a company called Ride Tech. I think they’re based in Canada. They make mounts that are shaped to match all helmets. I can highly recommend it. The mount was delivered in less than a week a fits perfectly. Another company called Chin Mounts, also based in Canada, make similar.
@@TheMotoExplorer Thanks for the info` on the chin mounts, I even tried a Klop chin mount, but the way it attached with mini seat belt straps left a gap, so the visor wouldn`t close. and it crushed my chin curtain. I`ll take a look at them, when I get a moment. Thanks again.
Welcome back! I'm new here, so I didn't even know you'd gone. 😁 TMF mentioned that he's not using 'classic' in the strict sense, just older bikes, that are well loved and he wants to ride. Oo, I'm surprised you went for another GoPro. Hope yours is one of the reliable ones.
Thanks for commenting. Yes, heard mixed things about the new GoPros’ reliability, but couldn’t get away from the excellent video quality and stabilisation. Which cams are you using? My old Hero5s were excellent, apart from the battery life. I’ve fixed that issue by wiring the cameras up to the bikes electrics and a power bank for the helmet cam.
Glad to see you back on fella heading up around skye. Plus the rest of the west coast in May

What are you doing this year (2023)?
Got myself a ZZR14 and like you absolutely love it.
