I dare say that seeing Bill Burr in a tooth fairy costume would be more traumatic to me (as a child) than simply learning that the tooth fairy doesn't exist.
@@Anutushara They tried it with Larry the Cable Guy but it didn't do so well so they went with a real comedian to finish the trilogy . The Rock and Larry lend their voices as the spirit guide sprites during the climactic Tooth Decay Train Derailment scene. I hope the don't screw up the reboot, Timothy Chalamé may be a little too fresh to play a convincing tooth fairy. Well have to wait and see.
Bills daughter is older and you quickly forget how much those little details mean to a kid. Once you have another kid you start doing it all again because it means so much to them
My school administration had to talk to me as a child because we didn't celebrate holidays. They told me to lie to other kids about santa. I was instructed to just say "no comment" or remain silent.
My child said she didn't get money from tooth fairy (at her Dad's)cos her Dad hadn't been to the bank that day and the tooth fairy takes it out of Daddy's wallet
You don't gotta lie, it's all about answering questions with questions. When the subject would come up, I'd say things like 'I don't know babe, I've never met/seen him before, what do you think?' Or 'where do you think the presents came from?' But after the talk confirming I am in fact Santa, it was made clear that spoiling 'Santa' for others means they no longer get gifts from Santa. But not lying about it doesn't mean I didn't do things to create magic, like put glittery eyeshadow on the bottom of barbie feet and walk it on the window sill.
My siblings and I never believed in Santa. Not because my parents didn’t lie. Because my dad made too much noise when trying to be quiet sneaking stuff from the attic on Christmas morning, all while telling my mom she was being too loud and would “wake the damn kids”. It was fine. We didn’t care. My parents continued to insist Santa was real even when we told them we knew the truth. I remember telling my my mom one year (I was about 7 or 8), I wouldn’t care if my presents said “From Satan” on them. She always put “from Santa” on the tags.
So don’t like to your kids about that BS It’s the worst ish when you realize the people you trust the most have been lying to You your whole life That shite is no Bueno
I completely agree with him... imagine having kids that believe in that stuff.. now days its so easy for a kid to google is santa real? Is the easter bunny real?.. and if its not your kid doing it. It is one of your kids friends and then they tell them.. we did the elf thing with our oldest daughter every year and she turned 10 and me and my fiance talked and she asked when do you think i should test the waters on her thoughts on all this? I said we can probably just ask and throw out some random questions. So we did and our daughter said she has known since she was 8 that none of them are real and she let us do it all because she seen how excited we were for her to notice. And it made me smile and broke my heart. And when i asked how she found out she said. My friend brang it up and i googled it.
I don't know for the rest of you, but Santa is very real to my son who likes him because it reminds him why he makes all these efforts throughout the year to be a good guy. Nihilism and cynicalism can't win...
kids shouldn't have access to tablets or smartphones. Hell, apple employees don't allow their kids to have ANY screen time, because they know how addictive they are.

My son is 10. This was probably his last Christmas with Santa. But he really loves Santa.
HIS DAUGHTER: HEY, TOOTH FAIRY, WHAT'S YOUR NAME....GINGER?
That outfit looks comfy af
After 7 years old it doesn't matter. When they're 2-6 year old it works. it's not about lying Bill, it's about the amusement and how cute they react.
Chilling in sox
Give your kids happiness for as long as you can before they have to face the realities of an ever worsening world

I’m w bill. The only purpose of the Santa charade is as a demonstrable lesson of the power of magical thinking.
My child said she didn't get money from tooth fairy (at her Dad's)cos her Dad hadn't been to the bank that day and the tooth fairy takes it out of Daddy's wallet

People who say they developed trust issues with their parents because of Santa are insane
sure, the correlation between those with trust issues and those with mental illness is high.
I agree
No he is right do not lie to the kids
Truth...
He's wearing a Boston bruins jacket. He IS in s fairy outfit!
Bills not wearing shoes
I actually agree with a lot of what this comedian says. What does that say about me? Love Bill Burr
what do you mean what does that mean about you?

Imagine giving your kids fucking tablets 💀
Don’t give your kid a tablet then
You shouldn’t of been yelling at the dresser for stubbing your toe
Never gave any imaginary people credit for the hard work to get my money and trying to find the perfect gifts. It never made sense.
So don’t like to your kids about that BS

Don't lie then. Just tell them it's all lies and your kids will love you for it as other kids lay into them at school!
And your kids make the other kids cry😢 by telling em none of it's real! 🎉😂

Didn't put on a fairy costume?
Isn't that a Boston Celts top?

Bill did NOT find that fairy outfit joke funny
Americans are so strange😅
Its just a economic way to make some money from the pockets of parents for the children holidays !
