  • Lean how to paint ceramic bisque using the dry brush method. It looks a lot harder than it actually is. I will show you how.
    Supplies I used:
    Paint brushes
Water bucket or just a simple glass of water
Paint pallet or you can use a paper plate or use a sheet of aluminum foil
paint - I used acrylic paint

Beautiful!...does it matter if you use a flat brush or a more round brush?

Aww, thank you! Right now, I have an Etsy shop because I'm still trying to setup my studio. I made a short video of its progress a few days ago that I want to post soon. Once it's setup, I will have my kiln going and I will be making more painting videos. I have a bunch of things set aside to paint for everyone.

When will you be posting more tutorials on ceramics?

Thank you for asking. I'm going to try to post one in the next couple of weeks or so. I have some Christmas gifts to paint so I thought I would make one then. I've been offline for a while because I'm working on a big project that's not related to ceramics. I'm hoping I will be able to spend more time on them in the spring. I will be sharing on a video what this project is. Thanks again for asking.

Are you using acrylic paints ?

Thanks for asking! Yes, I am. I use some inexpensive paints on this turkey because it was what I had on hand and I think it turned out pretty good considering. I guess it goes to show you that you don't have to have top of the line paint to make something look nice.
