No wonder I had so much trouble blending before... the little secret that so many youtube artists never shared -- a big thank you for helping me (a beginner) and all the other struggling "blenders" out there!!!
Love it! Thank you sir! I was wanting something closer to Bob Ross style, but with acrylic instead. I clicked your video first because I love the results!
This is soo helpful. I wondered how blending was done. What a fantastic tutorial. I will start using this technique. It is well appreciated, especially for beginners like me.
I did get on RUclips to see what color combinations could work for blending.I fell in love with this one and it is the only one I have watched today at this point.Thanks.
Thank you so very much for taking the time to share this amazing tutorial. As a beginner, tips like this are incredibly helpful! Thank you! I think I'm going to stick around to see what other things you're got up your sleeve!!! 😘👍👍
It's just the name of the white paint that was used as an underlayer so that we could add the other colors and still get a wet on wet blend. Amazon link is in the description.
This was really interesting .I've just starting to learn painting as a hobby Thank you cause this will help me with blending for the first time. Just asking after blending and drying then you Can continue with other painting on top.?
Muy bueno. Gracias. Crees que podría reemplazar el uso de agua por algún medium? Y evitar que se apaguen los colores. O tal vez usar medium y menos agua. Gracias
Sometimes you got to get lucky and that's how I feel when I found your video by chance. How wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!! I needed that!!!!! I have some questions: 1 - Is your canvas w/ Gesso? 2 - How do you blend several colors like when you want to painy sunset sky? will you also use white to blend the colors or you'll blend the colors that are near each othre? Thank you sooooooo much. The video is so clear!!!!!!!! I'm looking to watch other videos🧡👋👋👋👋👋👋
It makes blending easier because you are blending into wet paint instead of blending into a dry canvas - just a trick for people for people who are having trouble.
This is great! thank you for sharing. Have you ever done this on wood? And can it be adapted for smaller areas than the entire canvas? Love your colors btw
Great video! 👌🏻✌🏻 So, one question: How many dry brushes idealy we need to do this blending? I ask because I might not have enough and shiuld buy some more😅. Thank you
Yes, with any water-based paints (acrylics, watercolor, gauache, etc.) you can just rinse w/ water and let dry, but you'll need to use soap after oils.

What is the white titanium?
It's just the name of the white paint that was used as an underlayer so that we could add the other colors and still get a wet on wet blend. Amazon link is in the description.
Amazing video!!
Thank you for sharing
Thank you!👍
Nice sharing 😊
This was really interesting .I've just starting to learn painting as a hobby Thank you cause this will help me with blending for the first time. Just asking after blending and drying then you Can continue with other painting on top.?
Yes just let it completely dry then you can continue to add layers on top
Thank you. It's very helpful.
Muy bueno. Gracias. Crees que podría reemplazar el uso de agua por algún medium? Y evitar que se apaguen los colores. O tal vez usar medium y menos agua. Gracias
Claro, reemplazar un poco de agua con medio estará bien.

Hi that’s great i’m glad that it helped and no i don’t use any gesso. You can use this exact same technique for multiple colors too
Good video. Thank you!
❤THANKYOU very much 😊
Thank you! I will definitely try this 💕
Thank you 👍🏻
Would using gesso instead of titanium white help blending without muting the colors?
No gesso is used to prep/smooth a canvas surface not to paint with
For what it’s worth I’ve switched to golden open (slow drying) acrylics and I love them
Love it! Thanks 👍
Thank you 😊
Thank you!!
Thank you so much.
Great video! Why did you mute the fluorescent paints with white first?
It makes blending easier because you are blending into wet paint instead of blending into a dry canvas - just a trick for people for people who are having trouble.
This is great! thank you for sharing. Have you ever done this on wood? And can it be adapted for smaller areas than the entire canvas? Love your colors btw
Glad it helped and yes, you can blend on wood but may want to prime it first
How would this work with a clear acrylic extender? Thinking that might work well on larger canvas. Just a thought.
This video covers using an extender to blend on a large canvas: ruclips.net/video/oec7O58RMl4/видео.html
Thank you very much you help me a lot ❤
Thanks for sharing. ‼️👌♥️ Toom@CapeTown
Thank you so much ❤
Bob would be proud.
Thank you
Wow !! ✨
Might be a silly question but do you use the same mop blending brush and have to clean it between each use and change of colour
Yes you just clean it between colors. If you have a second you can use it but cleaning the same one is just fine!
Yes i clean it between colors so things don’t muddy
so nice ❤️😍
Thanks for sharing
Danke!Спасибо!
Great video! 👌🏻✌🏻
So, one question: How many dry brushes idealy we need to do this blending? I ask because I might not have enough and shiuld buy some more😅. Thank you
Thanks and probably 6
Can you do this with black too?
Can I use any colour to size the canvas so that ind don’t get the dullness from white
yes you can use other colors, doesn't have to be white
So your dry brushes or wash brushes how do you clean them up? Just rinse with water? and let them dry?
Yes, with any water-based paints (acrylics, watercolor, gauache, etc.) you can just rinse w/ water and let dry, but you'll need to use soap after oils.
멋진 기술 잘봤습니다
This us great!!
Would white gesso work, too?
No, you'll want to use actual paint for this - gesso is used to prep/smooth a canvas.
So what do you do in tighter smaller areas where blending is needed, such as petals or leaves?
ruclips.net/video/lDlrDTFrquU/видео.html
Thank you for this. I've always just skipped over this basic thing.
