Truth! It doesn't make sense loving someone that doesn't love you back, it just don't make sense. And some men always go for looks but what they don't know it's not all the time a female that has model looks is ment for you or even someone good.... Having a good personality, Being honest, Being trustworthy is what helps to make up what i call a good woman.

I've been divorced twice and I also took a lot of notes and did a lot of work on my self. And I stayed for all the same reasons..lol But I Grew and in greatful for that

what a great video.. goes to my top five. thank you Iyanla.. and as I asked my self why I want to be in a relationship I found that I want to have someone to care for me to love me to be there every time I need him. it looks to me like I want to fulfill my self with another person, to absorve someones energy and I don't like that... but thank god I dont go into a relationship when I don't feel smt good is in there. it's hard to ask the why's but you must! This really did a number on me. "Why?" "Because I have become cynical, have lost hope for someon e better and I also have never seen a healthy relationship between two (black) men up close before. My desires feel abstract or too demanding so I settle.

Why stay in misery?
Why get into a relationship when in the end, we're both going to die & the Bible says there is no marriage in Heaven? Yes, we will be together in Heaven, but our focus will be on God. Why not just focus on God NOW & in Heaven? Why would God bring a man into my life (as He has many times) just to say "in Heaven, you can't have him anyway"?
