Finally SOMEONE WHO DID A VIDEO ON THIS!!!!
Now imagine Fanatec would make their own truck wheel for e.g. ETS 2 or ATS or Farming Sims
there is a fanatec wheel emulator available for about 50$ depending on where you look so i guess you can buy that instead of using the podium hub which is way more expensive
use fanatec universal hub in between and you get force feedback
Mate that wheel looks amazing
Great vid thanks. This is my next project but on a podium mount.👍🇦🇺
Can the moza wiper stalk be used with this setup?
hmm wonder how it would be on my DD1 but i guess i cant fit the right angle to use it with my wheelstand
Hi GametechUK, thanks for your videos!
Do you have any experience with the Universal Hub and the Force Feedback on the Fanatec DD1 Wheel Base?
Does it work?
Thank you very much
Alex
If I'm not getting force feedback in a trucking simulator, why would I need to purchase a wheel that mimics a truck's wheel? 😂 Then I'll drive with any A-B-C wheel that would be way cheaper and easy to get anywhere! LOL man…
Can someone tells me how long does it takes to receive your order from MOZA directly should have went third party Thanks
Hi GametechUK could you try it on a thrustmaster steering wheel base the Moza hub box please mate
you need to buy a podium hub or buy a spoofer pin
Thanks for the video! One question, I run the trucking sims at 1800 degrees. Does the cable wrap around just fine with a large wheel rotation? Or will the cable be too short to do that?
The cable will be no problem.
Glad I watched this, found out this combo has NO FORCE FEEDBACK! So basically, the Fanatec wheel base just provides a bearing to mount the Moza wheel. Definitely not worth it for me!
check out the Tiny SRM Emulator
Hello, the fanatec hub is a qr1? Do I need the fanatec podium hub or can it work qr1 or qr2? Thanks 😅
You need the Podium Hub.
Im just sat here now wondering if this will work with an SRM (sim racing machines) adapter, which im already using to use a real wheel with force feedback on my dd
Have you tried it? I'm planning to get moza wheel and dunno if £180 podium hub is the only way to make it work
@@Ashhworld77 just get an SRM adapter. Just make sure it has emulation so you get force feedback. I have one and i use it for a rim with no buttons for rally/drift
@@UltimateLagMan Do I need to have a fanatec quick release as well for the srm adapter?
@@Ashhworld77 yes you do
How did you attach Qr1 to moza universal hub? Holes don't line up.
You need the Fanatec Podium Hub for that
The Moza Pithouse Software says my Wheelbase (Fanatec GT DD Pro) is disconnected. It does find my Moza TWS but only the buttons work. Any clue what to do?
I think the Moza Universal Hub is only for using the buttons on the wheel. The normal wheel control is via the Fanatec software, as it is the Fanatec base.
@@MrPT98 Yes, you're right. The Pithouse shows only Moza devices. Other devices are shown as "disconnected" even when they actually are connected. So there is no problem here. It's kinda confusing though. Thx for reply.
Dont you need the universal hub from fanatec
This is the video Ive been waiting for J boi 😍
Looks just the ticket…not too bothered by the lack of force feedback tbh. Time to crack open my wallet lol…btw looks like Moza cannot spell ‘auxillary’ 😛
The company Moza Racing already ordered me to buy TSW wheels steering wheel on March 26th, I sent an email reply to Moza Racing because I was angry with the reply email tracking delivery almost expected in 4 weeks!

I hate this extra cost for a wheel to be used on another product. I mean ,why couldn't it just be a USB type wheel plug to the PC. Its just bs in my eyes. The HORI I think is the way to go more bang for the buck. The only thing that suck is that you have to remove fanatec stuff off the rig to use the HORI. The adapter and control box should come with the wheel. Add everything with Moza to get what HORI offers and it just better since to get the HORI.
If the control box was included, people that don't need cross compatibility would essentially be paying for a feature they don't need or use.
@@GametechUK Not very smart are ya? Do you think ya might wont to use it with a different product some time in the future. Sim product company's do this shit all the time and everyone bitches about ,oh but not you. Hey but maybe your just a troll that knows nothing.
