I've seen many things being labeled as "game changers" despite not really adding anything new or useful but the accessories Moza just came out are *literally* game changing for sim truckers or people really into BeamNG
Moza seem to be run by genuine enthusiasts who want to push the sim racing/driving genre forwards through actual innovation. I actually can't believe this is the first of its kind in the DD marketplace, it seems like such an obvious product, but no one has done it until now. With the new sequential shifter, and now this and its related accessories I think we will be very happy with the products from Moza in the coming year. Also a shout out to them in general for not locking their products to their own ecosystem and allowing you to use them with other wheelbases etc.
Ye but their wheelbase are sadly not really suited for Trucking sim as their resulution is with 16Bit really low, but luckily you can use them with Simmagic Wheelbases due to the NRG QR.
@@scottmatthew9605Moza about to get rich-rich with this wheel. So many truck sim fans are going to purchase this. Hopefully, this will inspire other wheel/shifter/pedal designers to delve into the untapped market of driving simulators.
@@kreativerjungeI would bet theres a dedicated 3nm truck wheelbase in the works, and I wouldn't be surprised if they're looking at the farming sim market as well.
The blinker stocks in combination with a street/racing wheel will be the ultimate cruising setup for beamng or ac. I'm really stoked to see how they perform when they release.
It seems like there will be double the number of functions on the steering wheel, and it's known that there are stickers, but it's not the same, they won't be illuminated properly
As a truck driver and sim racer I have to dip my hat to Moza for producing this wheel/ It is very similar in design to modern day truck steering wheels in real trucks so adds a lot of realism to how a truck is to drive versus a small diameter wheel. My thought is they will probably sell a lot of these and with the soon to be released indicator stalk accessory it will make a very good truck driving sim unit. I myself will be getting one for sure.
Genuinely excited for the signal stalk addon, really wanted one for me R5 to make driving feel more immersive! Truck wheel also looks great, kudos to Moza for trying out a new wheel type.
It'd be really cool if Moza releases a shift knob to complement the TSW wheel and Stalk kit. I know there are tons of USB-modified Eaton Fuller shift knobs on Amazon nowadays, but they add way too much height and weight to most sim shifters. A knob that adds range splitter and jake brake switches without messing with the normal ergonomics of the shifter would be a godsend.
oh man! I've just bought a super ultrawide monitor thinking that was my last upgrade. now I'm going to have to start looking into this, and the indicators. That free demo of ETS2 has proved to be a very expensive hobby!!!
It’s cool that they deepened the sticks in the steering wheel, before they stuck out more and looked strange, now it seems that this is a premium steering wheel without flaws
I cant belive it, this wheel is beatiful and makes more realistic for truck sim players, just love it. It worth the change for me, sorry Simagic time to go for Moza.
HOLY SHIT! I was still hesitant on which brand to upgrade to, but this just made that decision a lot simpler! Especially with the upcoming turn stock, i've been dreaming of that for years to the point i started to make one myself. im so incredibly hyped for this!
The wheel looks amazing and is surely the thing that was missing in the world of driving sim accesories, also I wonder if it is possible to set up the shift lights to act as an indicators?
@@CIVICX3Sim racers think everything revolves around track racing cars 😅. ETS2 steam player numbers alone more than the top three most popular sim racing games. iRacing, AC and ACC combined wouldn't hold a candle. Moza very smart for doing this. Omg I want it. Does this wheel come with the hub or is that separate? Also as someone who’s new to moza products, which moza base would you recommend? Do they have one with a realistic truck turning degrees of 1800 instead of the standard 900 of most racing sims?
I hope it will be possible to mount/use the indicator stalks to/with other 3rd party bases. The wheel will work with other bases but I won't buy the wheel if I cant get the indicator stalks since it will result in a worse indicator situation for me (currently using the shift pedals for indicating but this big wheel obviously doesnt have those since the indicator stalk is planned for release anyway. The wheel is compatible with other bases so I just hope they make the indicator stalk as compatible as possible too since I really wanna buy these 2 products.)
Increased immersion is great, but the downside of playing with VR is that visibility non existing. I hope that in the future, there will be a way to map buttons in VR, making it easier to anticipate their locations.
My Pithouse software looks nothing like what you show in the video. Currently not able to change any of the button backlight colors. Pithouse version 1.2.4.39 and firmware 1.2.1.13 on the wheel itself. R5 base.
Im definitely buying the moza r3 steering wheel bundle and this steering wheel when I play fernbus simulator on my Xbox series s. Plus the truck wheel mount as well. I play bus simulator games, racing simulator and truck sim game's too. This will definitely complete my gaming setup in my bedroom and living room. I just got to buy sim racing wheel Stand or cotpit
i see diference on ratio of wheels. if you want the ratio of the steering wheel in the game to be the same on your moza wheel set 1630 degrees and enjoy :)
it's pretty cool but 330€ just for the wheel plus you have to get the moza base which, in case of the r5, the cheapest one costs another 350€, then add pedals and clutch, another 223€. Then add the shifter and the clamp for the desk, another 190€. Then add the base and the truck wheel clamps which are another 110€ and you get a total of 1200€ just to play truck simulator, a bit too expensive in my opinion. For the average ets2 and ats enjoyer as myself i am pretty satysfied with my g29 with the truck shifter mod for 20€ from aliexpress and the logi saitek panel.
Very cool...A guy with a normal home set up, like mine. The wheel is a bit out of my financial integrity at the moment, but the base that would possibly allow me to connect it to my existing wheel for a mere $50 is on my wishlist. Give it up for Moza for realizing the most used driving sim is, by far, truck sims. The wheel is definitely on my wish list.
That indicator add-on looks great for the Test Drive Unlimited games as well I hope you can macro them to send in-game chat messages as well for games that don't have indicators. I.e. in TDU1, right indicator will press T to chat, then '>>>>>>>>>' then Enter to send.
This is emulated through FFB as opposed to actual wheel weight so I imagine you can have it set as heavy as you'd like up to the torque your wheelbase permits :)
Do they offer a wheel base that rotates more than 900°? It's a bit annoying at this point to have steering wheels that only go a little more than one circle in each direction, it's unrealistic

Cool, it will be on sale in Russia soon, one Russian RUclipsr I watch is already getting it, why hasn’t any other company thought of this before? And Moza will soon make a module with turn signal levers, windshield wipers and all that stuff, in which case I have questions about why there are buttons for all this on the steering wheel itself, if without them, the number of buttons would be reduced a lot and would look more realistic, and the final price tag It would probably be smaller, but I think this is so that it would be convenient for everyone, including those who will not buy a module with steering column levers and those who will buy it, but in any case, recently I have become a fan of Moza products, now they are number one for me
