  • This is the last of three articles investigating the Biblical identities of the alleged "Three persons of the Trinity". It presents the case for the idea that God's spirit is not a coequal third person of a trinity, but rather God's power and force as "sent" by Him and manifested in the material universe.

Holy Spirit is his presence and power manifestation in any place : Psalms 139:7-8,10
[7] Where can I go from your Spirit? And where will I flee from your presence?
[8]If I ascend to heaven, you are there; And if I make my footstool in Sheol, behold, there you are.
[10] Even there your hand will guide me, and your right hand will hold me fast. Read Isaiah 11:2; revelation 4:5

There are some instances of personification of the Spirit, are there not? However, God's Wisdom is personified as well, often as a female figure, and no one believes there was a preexistent female divinity who was with God when God created the world. So the personification argument largely would cut against the personhood of the Spirit, given that the Spirit is otherwise described like a liquid or a force.

Absolutely true. This video is just a short introduction to the Holy Spirit. In Volume Two - "The False Arguments Of Trinitarianism" - a whole chapter is devoted to a discussion of arguments for the HS being a third person of the Trinity, including an investigation of its personification.
