I’d say it is. We are all supposed to be intolerant. Tolerance is allowing something to continue. Tolerating sin is an act of hatred (toward the perpetrator and the victim both). For those who don't understand: If making truth claim is intolerance then everyone is intolerant which defeat the negative connotation implied therefore intolerance cannot be attributed to truth claim which is what christianity is about.
I think people just have trouble understanding because Cliffe explained it poorly. He just kept giving examples of truth claims and not actually explaining what it is. A truth claim is a claim of what the truth is. It doesn’t mean that it’s actually 100% true, it just means that the claim is being presented as absolute truth, even if it’s not. If I said cats and dogs are exactly the same that’s a truth claim because I’m presenting it as an absolute truth even though it’s not.
The issue arises with the validation of a truth claim. What's your foundation for that validation to say it's truth? If you applied said validation to other things in life, would it make those things true?

Tolerance is *not* a good thing. Consider: do you tolerate murder? Do you tolerate theft? Do you tolerate brutal animal sacrifice, as occurs during eid in many Muslim countries?
The Christian gospel is "intolerant" because it doesn't allow for sin and "alternate paths" and disagrees with other religions etc. However, it's the MOST tolerant because it is available to all mankind. Not one person is excluded by age or race or nationality or language or intelligence or availability of a church or location for worship. Doesn't matter if you're rich or poor or oppressed or imprisoned or suffering or how much evil you've already done in life. You choose TODAY to make Christ lord of your life and let him work on you and change you. But you have to want it, you have to be willing to let God be true and every man a liar. You have to submit your own will and emotions to scripture and believe it. People can change, the gospel has been doing that for thousands of years, turning sinners into saints, violence into peace. The only reason people reject it is because they love their sin more.

I mean, why would anyone willingly turn away from a God who lavishes love and grace on them unless they are protecting something in their current lifestyle? We may not always know the reason - comfort and convenience, fear of the unknown, disbelief in unmerited favor, love of sin as stated above... but in the end, something is keeping them from a personal relationship with God. If you believe that idolatry is wrong - anything that claims the number one spot in the heart above God - then no matter the exact reason, it leads back to sin being more important (or loved) than God. To sugarcoat the truth would be an injustice, so while we can and should have compassion on those who do not understand that if God asks them to give up something in their current lifestyle He will also supply the strength to do it... while we should have compassion, we cannot allow our empathy to get in the way of the truth because that would ultimately do more harm than good. Christ came to set the captives free, to bring light into darkness. We cannot dilute the message. If the Gospel had anything good to say about sinners, then grace would be nullified and we would still be under the old covenant. If there is one thing I know beyond a shadow of a doubt, it is that grace is always undeserved. No matter what.

They follow you, spam your phone, try to stop you from being with other people... they control. God is not like that. He gives us free will, so He respects your choice to not be with Him even though it breaks His heart. He still cares about you and will welcome you with open arms if you go to Him. It is like God sends a card and flowers once in a while to let you know He cares while keeping a distance because you have made it clear that is what you want. You have to divide Christianity and Christians. Since Christians are humans, they make mistakes, but Christianity is absolutely tolerant. God loves all of us, and Jesus died for all our sins. Furthermore, telling someone their way of life is wrong isn't intolerant. You might feel offended, but that's your problem. Sins are pretty well defined in the bible. People may act intolerant because they are sinners, but God will always accept everybody and forgive.

Wrong. We are all sinners. God states this clearly. Christ died on the cross to absolve us of our sin so that we may be welcomed into his kingdom. Therefore Christianity is extremely tolerant of sin, by its definition.

Intolerance is just not accepting something that you are not. So righteousness being intolerant of evil is basically sticking to what they are grounded in. Same as evil being intolerant of righteousness is it staying true to itself. What you choose as what you’re intolerant towards more so shows who or what you truly are

That’s so true. We like to blame religion instead of humanity because we think we are good people and other people are bad. But no one is good we would still be horrible to each other without religion. We would just blame it on something else. Something interesting about that revelation chapter. I saw Jesus in a dream after I had prayed wanting to see him and hug him. He had the shape of a long face and his hair shaped around it, but I could not see his face. I could only see his hair and his facial hair. And the robe he wore was completely blood red. I did end up giving him a hug and he also showed me the nail prints in his hands. If making truth claim is intolerance then everyone is intolerant which defeat the negative connotation implied therefore intolerance cannot be attributed to truth claim which is what christianity is about.
I think people just have trouble understanding because Cliffe explained it poorly. He just kept giving examples of truth claims and not actually explaining what it is. A truth claim is a claim of what the truth is. It doesn’t mean that it’s actually 100% true, it just means that the claim is being presented as absolute truth, even if it’s not. If I said cats and dogs are exactly the same that’s a truth claim because I’m presenting it as an absolute truth even though it’s not.

The Christian gospel is "intolerant" because it doesn't allow for sin and "alternate paths" and disagrees with other religions etc.
However, it's the MOST tolerant because it is available to all mankind. Not one person is excluded by age or race or nationality or language or intelligence or availability of a church or location for worship. Doesn't matter if you're rich or poor or oppressed or imprisoned or suffering or how much evil you've already done in life.

I mean, why would anyone willingly turn away from a God who lavishes love and grace on them unless they are protecting something in their current lifestyle? We may not always know the reason - comfort and convenience, fear of the unknown, disbelief in unmerited favor, love of sin as stated above... but in the end, something is keeping them from a personal relationship with God. If you believe that idolatry is wrong - anything that claims the number one spot in the heart above God - then no matter the exact reason, it leads back to sin being more important (or loved) than God. To sugarcoat the truth would be an injustice, so while we can and should have compassion on those who do not understand that if God asks them to give up something in their current lifestyle He will also supply the strength to do it... while we should have compassion, we cannot allow our empathy to get in the way of the truth because that would ultimately do more harm than good. Christ came to set the captives free, to bring light into darkness. We cannot dilute the message. If the Gospel had anything good to say about sinners, then grace would be nullified and we would still be under the old covenant. They follow you, spam your phone, try to stop you from being with other people... they control. God is not like that. He gives us free will, so He respects your choice to not be with Him even though it breaks His heart. He still cares about you and will welcome you with open arms if you go to Him. It is like God sends a card and flowers once in a while to let you know He cares while keeping a distance because you have made it clear that is what you want. Those who choose to seek Him always find Him though. What do you have to lose? Truly seek to know God, not what people say about Him. Search the truth out for yourself. Intolerance toward an exclusive claim isn't tolerant.
Well there is, mostly in american christianity. They have a white savior complex. But things change. But now is rising a generation that is preaching first by their testimony and then by talking.

God leaves it up to You to make Your choice. God doesn't force you to . He gives you a opportunity to learn and educate yourself and make your own choice.

Something interesting about that revelation chapter.
I saw Jesus in a dream after I had prayed wanting to see him and hug him.
He had the shape of a long face and his hair shaped around it, but I could not see his face. I could only see his hair and his facial hair. And the robe he wore was completely blood red.
I did end up giving him a hug and he also showed me the nail prints in his hands. The looked like the shape of small eyes because when the nails had been hammered into his hands his weight pulled them down and made that shape.

I see no reason to believe all religions, or half, or one, lead to a god. I see no reason to believe any god or gods exist.
All religions have truth claims. Yet which one is objectively true?
If I were faced with this question, i would say none.
This is why God gave us prophecy,so that when it comes to pass,we may know that He is a true God and is true to His word.
I don't think there's a book with more prophecy than the Bible and certainly not with more fulfilled prophecy and as accurately fulfilled. Look at the prophecy about last days and end times,when i look into the world news,i see the Bible being alive more than ever. Read Matthew 24,read 2 Timothy 3 and 4,read 2 Peter 3,look at what they're saying about end times and see how it's all happening how it's described,and some things in there didn't yet but we see them approaching fast.
What's coming is the rapture of the church and then 7 years of tribulations,Jesus is just about to return as we're on the very brink of nuclear war and we ain't part of that,blood bought born again believers.
See what it says in 2 Thessalonians 2,how there's a restrainer that will be taken out of the way and that's the Holy Spirit working through us and in us believers and we gotta be removed. Study these things and please use King James version of the Bible as it's the most accurate one,some translations remove completely the blood out of it and that's disgusting because without the shedding of blood,there is no forgiveness of sins and this is why Jesus came, to shed His perfect blood so that all our sins would be paid but now His finished work is neglected,it is all about repenting from sins and while we should,thay doesn't get us saved,we cannot stop sinning,true repentance is to have a change of mind,to go from not believing in Jesus Christ alone for salvation to believing in Him and when He saves you and begins to live inside of you as He baptises you with Holy Spirit,then He will convict you of sins you gotta repent of and will help you do it and there's relationship you will have and now you will do good because you are saved. It's a claim that can't be proven, so it isn't a truth claim it's a belief claim
Christianity isn't about being gay or straight. It's about jesus christ. ✝️ ✝️. It's all about him and what he did for me on the cross, his resurrection and his eventual return. No other religion has a savior, who was nailed, died and rose again, all for the sake of saving me from the penalty of sin.
