Awesome Outcast. It looks like you did a custom paint job on yours. I was watching you struggle with the battery plug. It seems like a great connection that wont come loose on a run but for someone like me with traumatic arthritis it would probably be impossible to unplug. They really need to come up with a plug that locks in and has a release button or maybe a twist lock system used in the electrical industry. I do like the body clips and the wide stance on the Outcast. You have yours dialed in nicely. 👍👍
Add thicker shock oil to the rear which will help with the squat issue. I use 90wt and that should solve your squatting issue. I use the same in mine and it works great. Good luck
Another great build! xrt tires on a outcast is kind of hilarious for some reason 🤣 I actually just tried the mx43's on the outcast 8s recently and loved them. Haven't jumped with them on the outcast yet but I have on the kraton and they' might be my fav tire though like you said they sure aren't soft.
Reason why i rather using AS150 connectors :-) Better unplug and just 1mm diameter smaller. In all big cars i have AS150 and in small cars 5/4 or 4mm bullets into hardpacks.
@@Dos_Rc QS8 are really good but unplug could be pain. That was reason in my case to order AS150. Amper rating is almost the same. It can fit at maximum AWG8 cable. I tried AWG6 and it it impossible and not reasonable, because limits of AWG6 are more that connector is capable. Try it and you will see. I changed it also for 1/10 Slash, because it is easier to plug in than some new traxxas connectors, specialy for the kids. Only color has to be checked. I have both female on ESC and males on batteries. Also i made 2 female cable for serial setup. Because from Esc leads only 2 females. But it is up to you, it not has any standard. You can use male/female combination on ESC and when is used the same on batteries, you can make series without additional cable. Then make some cable for charger. I can order it in local shops, but at Alli.. it is half price.

Cool rig bro 🤘
I want an 8s just cuz . But honestly 1/8 seems like the sweet spot in terms of performance cost reliability

Using VG progressive springs on my K8s and 500cst shock oil. She floats and lands real nice.

@@Dos_Rc thanks, also do you not recommend the proline mx 43? thinking of getting a set
@@northeastrc73 the mx43 are heavy they are great for ripping around and doing small to medium jumps
Not good for big air or backflips
@@Dos_Rc thanks again for the info, CT guy here as well
@@northeastrc73 yes sir
The mx43 are the best tires they can withstand allot of abuse but it comes with a price of weight
