I hate the wet early morning bashes but it's the best time when no one is out, the give and take of content creation😊 All that on the stock gearing, DAMN! If I ever get rid of my RTR, this checks all the boxes.
Solid trucks. Been beating mine severely, I’m on 25/39 gearing (smaller OG backflips though) and don’t have heat issues. I may change to a max5 but don’t see myself going with a bigger motor, they nailed it
Awesome video, I got my Outcast 8s EXB V1 roller all built up and running last year before Christmas 2023 and i ran it for the 2nd time yesterday alongside my X-Maxx. and the Outcast ran perfect with little to no issues to speak of but my X-Maxx stripped it's front diff ring and pinion. I now have kind of high favoritism for my Outcast since my X-Maxx has seemed to always been a lemon every since i got it from a trade. Now i'm wondering if i should keep my X-Maxx and try to make it better or fix it then sell it.
First awesome run, I'm thinking about getting the brushless combo from one of these trucks for my v1 roller that i bought before they came out. I also watched your unboxing video and i feel the same way you do about Traxxas' new models vs Arrma's i was looking into a 4-Tec 2.0 VXL initially but after some advice from the forums and my own decision i decided to go a different route and get a Vendetta 3s BLX or an Infraction V3 3s BLX.
@@JasonPerrinRCVlogs Cool, I wonder what tooth count is the stock pinion gear. This is an amazing truck i'm hoping to get my v1 truck running early next year. And i'm hoping it will be more reliable then my X-Maxx was when i first got it.
I put a 26t pinion on the kraton 8s exb rtr and turned my punch up to 8 been told to try a 28t but think it mite get a bit too hot nice run buy the way 👍
Heading out this morning with the included 30t installed. Giving it a top speed run, but after that I am going to do some light bashing and see how the temps are. But I was thinking 26 or 27t for the sweet spot.
should be a big difference on the 30t pinion think max I will go is 27t its getting warm with a 26t on weathers getting colder now though @@JasonPerrinRCVlogs
Hello jason,I'm just getting into the basher side of the hobby and was watching this video,we're you able to change settings on the esc with a hobbywing programming card, thank you
What do you think of the steering? I heard the servo saver is supposed to be better, but on my new V2 K8 RTR the steering still kinda sucks. Any fixes for that?
For a person Who is planning to purchase between New Outcast 8s v2, New v2 Arrma K8s,XRT and Xmaxx Which one would you recommend? Considering durability and fun factor?
$1000 seems a bit expensive to me. Oh Well, this is relative, one thousand for is a good amount of money, may not be for most of you. If I have this mush money, I will save more and buy the LOSI 5T instead.
Jason, you’re a genius at this RC stuff buddy you taught me a lot and I just started into this a year ago. I’ve learned so much from you already. Thanks a lot.👍🫵🥇
We all hold our breath when we jump an RC (or at least I do)
I happened to have that ESC programmer so I was able to adjust my settings because you took the time to show the whole process. Thanks for doing that!

They gave us a great set up for sure. A lot of value in that truck.
@@JasonPerrinRCVlogsWhat does ABC or LVC (25:22) stand for, please?
@@JasonPerrinRCVlogs I was wandering if after awhile of owning this now, do you still think it’s a better truck then the XMaxx?

The combo has been great so far. Testing the 30t pinion today.

It looks like a solid machine.
Looks good 👍 I have been loving my EXB with the new stock electronics. 39/25 gearing
I’m running 28/39 and absolutely love the power
Good to see you running the new outcast, surprised that the hobbywing program card work with the stock esc, my v1 did not
The card did. But my Hobbywing LCD box didn't.
Like outkast cool rc Dasher 5 scale tank you for showing US 💯👍😎
Now you get a wheelie bar with the RTR Karton EXB V2
Well Dang! :). That is good. I with they had included the 39t spur through with this exb rtrs though.
@@JasonPerrinRCVlogs yeah but it’s a RTR and that spur gear is money $$

Excellent.!!
Very nice do you think? Version one outcast exb roller or version two chassis is stronger

Nice fast speed truck ❤
Absolut ❤
Where did you get that ramp? Buy or build. That’s what I’ve been looking for. Thanks in advance

Makes me regret getting the Sledge
Arrma for life!!
Ehm did you tested the roller exb outcast?
Hello what kind of lipos are you running?
I dont hear a click in yours when you punch throttle... Werid idk why mine is doing that
What do you think of the steering? I heard the servo saver is supposed to be better, but on my new V2 K8 RTR the steering still kinda sucks. Any fixes for that?
I don't mind it all. Yes it could be faster, but I'm good with it.
I’m running a adjustable servo saver with the power HD 80kg servo and it’s been great
Noice..!
For a person
Who is planning to purchase between
New Outcast 8s v2, New v2 Arrma K8s,XRT and Xmaxx
Which one would you recommend?
Considering durability and fun factor?
100% outcast 8s exb RTR and i can confirm its the most fun..
I had the x-maxx and kraton 8s exb aswell.. and the outcast just wins
NIIIIICE 👌🏻
KCRC Ramp - do you recommend? Will it hold up to 1/5 scale abuse?
I just got one, seems to be a solid setup. Get some wide grip tape.
So far I have had no issues. K8s, O8s, xmaxx, and a XRT have all bashed off that ramp.
