    The LVC- setting in the Kraton is set at level 5 what means a cutoff- voltage of 3.7Volts per cell! Set it down to level 2 (3.4V)! This works perfekt!

    These look incredible. I've become an Arrma fan, though I prefer something a bit scale looking. Need a Mojave version of these!

    Cool release i wish i waited to buy my Outcast 8s EXB until they released the RTR V2 but at least i get to put my own electronics in my V1 roller. I saw a custom Limitless in the background. when will we see a video on the Limitless?

    The question is also if its really a 7075 t6 chassis this time. The exb roller chassis were pretty soft

    • @3SonsRC
      @3SonsRC Год назад

      Same chassis, there is a difference between Arrma 7075 from China?, Corally 7075, and M2C 7075 with certifications. I'd say reverse that order for strength levels.

    I had that cut out issue when trying to use the Zeee 4s 100c hard packs. Three seperate sets. Ordered the Spektrum 4s basher series and the new Gen Ace 4s bashers for both the Kraton and Outcast. These monsters require GOOD batteries it seems. Spend the extra for these cars, you will be happier.

    When you say "speed pinion" how big is that gear? And does these models come with the "high speed pinion?" Tha ks

  • @wgmainline9812
    @wgmainline9812 Год назад +1

    So curious how the exposed pinion gear holds up? And also the 6s has an exposed spur gear from the bottom? I've seen the Sledge is that way also?

    • @trevorbraden5448
      @trevorbraden5448 10 месяцев назад +1

      They hold up fine they are designed that way to help kick rocks Gravel and debri if it wasn't open stuff would get jammed in between the gear and body and then stuff breaks

    Update: It was not an ESC issue. Watch for our RCDriver_Online videos for details (coming soon, not posted yet)

    Great Video, Very Informative, Congratulations on compiling one of the Best if not the Best video on this Awesome pair of a Arrma 1/5 scale EXB Beauties !
    I have the Outcast & after watching this video i am seriously considering getting the Kraton too, sshhh don’t tell the wife

    oh, man.. can't wait to watch the follow-up about what happen to the Kraton 8s... :(

  • @G__Mason

    Man I’m so torn between these two. I got an Xmaxx but the wife wants one so instead of buying another ima let her drive that one and get me a one of these so I got the best of both worlds lol. It’s a tough decision tho, I was originally wanting the Kraton since my buddies got the XRT but now idk. My local shops got the Outcast in stock and not the Kraton, not a big deal but I’m curious if the Outcast would hold up better with the shorter chassis. I’ve heard they bend pretty easy 🤷🏻‍♂️

  • @Blimpus
    @Blimpus Год назад +1

    These are just Awesome ! the one thing I don't like is the exposed drive shafts running down the middle of the chassis

    • @rctrucks
      @rctrucks  Год назад +1

      The only thing holding me back for the large scale stuff is a place to run them. I actually have about 10 gas 1/5 scales. I wish I could do more with them all.

  • @lexsteel12
    @lexsteel12 Год назад

    It could be that the ESC punch setting is set too high. The sane thing was happening to my Kraton 8S. I turned down the punch, and that solved the issue. But, I have the Max5 ESC, not Spektrum.

    For a person
    Who is planning to purchase between
    New Outcast 8s v2, New v2 Arrma K8s,XRT and Xmaxx
    Which one would you recommend?
    Considering durability and fun factor?

    Might have to sell some stuff to get me a 5th scale outcast or find some way to earn money. Love this hobby but definitely a large barrier for someone disabled to afford anything good.

  • @Batchat2352
    @Batchat2352 Год назад +1

    Spektrum lipos are not great lipos. Might be why. Might also because of the esc. Im not sold on the v2 escs who are just no longer orange looking. started to hate the orange on the arrmas because of how spektrum just likes to put their electronics in who are unreliable and sub part to hobbywing power wise. My notorious feels very underpowered vs my kraton exb with the same pinion

      No, I own this Kraton V2 and that simply not true. Try buying one, then you can make that determination. Can you upgrade? Of course, but the 1100 KV motor is enough for me.

    1100 KV? Show me a short course 4400 KV motor and I might be impressed. That thing's only turning 34000 rpms at 8s. I have a 120 amp setup in 10th scale that turns just short of 60,000 on 3s. And I have an 8th scale 4400 KV 4 pole running on 3s and it turns 54000. You're the 2nd one I've seen who's had cut out Kraton issues and it's starting to look like a pattern. I remember thinking 1,000 dollars and it cuts out? No thank you.

    Totally the same as the old EXB, only with some new red stickers on the body and RTR.. kind of pointless release...

    • @thepatternforms859

      Literally has new motor, new esc, new servo all three massively more powerful lol

  • @bashaz8559
    @bashaz8559 9 месяцев назад

    The pointless part of it is the garbage Spektrum s h I t that they keep clinging onto- that ESC would NEVER go into any off my vehicles

  • @AsurasWrath164

    Hm, still that crappy steering with that abysmal servo saver.

    • @spenn2007
      @spenn2007 Год назад

      Not even close, best RTR 1/5 scale servo I have ever used. Do you even own a TRUE 1/5 scale? Not a xmaxx that's 1/6 scale, a TRUE 1/5 scale lol.
