03:30 yup Mr. MOOREHEAD, my sentiments are exactly what you are saying. I have the V 2.5 😅 & yes it Does Not Turn.. and YES the punch needs to be adjusted.. not many other channels are expressing this POV in terms of Evaluation of this car.. Super Potential!❤🎉
The 6s ladles had a better steering servo and the ExB models even better the 4s v2 and 2.5 had a cheap poor steering servo with a servo saver that made the steering terrible but fixes are out as of now
Stay safe my brother! The fact you brave the weather to bring us some epic footage means a lot! Always looking for the next video! Take care and get well brother!! 👍👍🛸😎👽🤟🤟
I had recently done the diff fluids in my Outcast V2.5. Someone had recommended 20k rear 500k center and 30k front. Wish i would have gone a little thicker 😢 front tires still balloon like crazy! 😮 It's definitely an awesome truck and tons of fun.
I think most companies go to light on center diff fluid when they build them. If its a basher type rig they should build them with thicker fluid. thin fluid in center diff causes front tires to pizza cutter too bad and dont send enough power to the rear. I agree with Earl on this for sure.. and cant go wrong with Reefs for upgrading servos
Nice job Earl. Your Outcast is really doing an excellent job on 4s. The diff fluid really helped. Excellent outtake at the end of the video. At first I though Limo Driver but with the radio call I have no idea what your profession is. Anyways excellent share and rainy day bash. 🏁🏁👍👍
lol not exactly sure what he does either, I’ve heard him mention Warner bros in the past. I believe he might be a driver double for movies. But yeah He really knows his stuff and the RC hobby is blessed that’s he’s apart of it. We’ve all benefited from his experience and knowledge.
that's what I do up and down the street... sounds very similar to what you do with rc cars as well 😂😂 I haven't commented much lately but Im always watching the videos. Appreciate the behind the scenes teaser that's pretty cool. I was always told if you enjoy what you do son you'll never work a day in your life. Working is a necessary way for most of us to make money I'm sure glad I enjoy my job I hope the same for you Earl 👊👊👍👍
Pretty cool run Earl. Definitely a steering servo it will turn much much better. I am out running the ultimate Xmaxx. I think we have your weather in Pennsylvania 60 and sunny all week stay dry hope you feel totally better soon.
Why not just use the kimrough saver, I’ve seen this trick but i haven’t looked at closely because i used the HR ones but I have a couple , if it’s bigger just cut it down to size easier than messing with the spring 😂
@@alphakid7771 you could probably do that and not have to monkey with trimming the kembrough. Edit: to that note too, you could probably add a few shims or some small pieces of metal at the base of either side of the spring to increase preload on spring. (Won’t have to buy a kimbrough at all)
@@L.U.C.K.Y.333 from my experience, most definitely. These center diff models allow a lot more torque transfer front and back or vise-versa. Torque will make the wheels turn straight unless your servo saver is strong enough to resist it. Plus coupled with the force needed to actually turn the car.
Put a losi LMT 25T servo saver in it. Raise the servo by 8mm up. Cut a vit around the radio box and you have the best servo saver for these cars. Direct mount servo saver like the stock ones are all garbage, develops play and are weak. Now my kraton turns amazing
The RC shop by my crib installed the best servo they had, price came out to $109 and they installed for free cause I go in often 😂. My 4s V2 turns CRAZY CRAZY now like 10/10 turns on a DIME! If you guys run your outcasts a lot, drop the $ on the best servo you can find 🤙🏾
So what exactly is this solving or more so what was the actual problem? I'm new to RC but not dumb. Lay it on me, I need to know. I just purchased this same model
Outcast 4s is a beast! Would love to try the centre diff on my Senton, still unsure if this would fit though. The more I run these 3s Arrma cars the more is appreciate them. I have the 3s big rock and senton, both with metal diffs and run them 4s all day long. I should go harder on them cause they never break and barely give me any grief. Last run with the big rock the slipper loosened off at the end of the run. First time that's happened in months.
@@RcPlayer-tt2vw I blew the plastic diffs on 3s but it took many months. In theory it's cheap to buy the plastic ring and input gearamd rebuild the diff but the metal gears should outlast the rest of the car by a long shot
Earl, I have 1st gen Outcast V2 that has the slipper. Do you know if the new center diff they put into the Outcast V2.5 is a direct fit into the original V2? Thanks, A Subscriber
Nice run in the wet. Are you going to do anything with the steering with this one ? I think the servo is ok it’s just a lazy ass servo saver ? I thought I would ask your thoughts on it.
I just got a Kraton 8s used…..have to rebuild the thing due to previous owner putting the rig away wet and stored it for 2 years …..needless to say, every bearing is rusted up …but for the price I got it for it’s worth the effort. Question tho….every rig I have with a center diff…I usually put ear plugs or lock the center diff up somehow… Would using a machined locker in place of the internal spider gears inside the carrier housing be good or should I use some sort of heavy oil like 20m weight?
Hey Earl, I have brand new Kraton and Outcast 4s trucks from the previous version with the slipper clutch. In your opinion with the upgrades in the V2.5 is it worth getting the newer versions? I could easily sell these since they are still brand new in their boxes. Thank you
I had that crap took me over a month to get over it couldn't breathe. Need some advice on my xrt I put 20 m center and 50 thou front and rear and changed the top rear arms to the top holes in the bulkhead seem to handle alot better now for shock fluid what your thoughts? I don't do crazy jumps. I also have a xlx2 thoughts on motor and gearing? I'd appreciate the advice. Haven't ran the truck maybe 10 times. Thanks

I have the 1/8th outcast EXB 6s the steering is phenomenal on it. I have my punch level set at 7 it's perfect. 9 was way too much
The 6s ladles had a better steering servo and the ExB models even better the 4s v2 and 2.5 had a cheap poor steering servo with a servo saver that made the steering terrible but fixes are out as of now
I use 20 million on my max works great also always having great videos to watch

Welcome back Earl, I would love to see your green Xmaxx in a video when you get a chance 👍
Looking good with some long hair lol wish you could show more that was interesting really was expecting to hear some tires squealing

Thanks!👊👍
Appreciate your support 💯🙏
A good headache fun a good funny comment I really do enjoy your video 💯😂😂😂
Fantastic video my friend l like the 20 million silicone fluid the wheelies all day long 😀😊

Nice run that 20 million definitely helped , welcome to our world in the uk this is our weather 90% of the time 😅
😮
Nice job man , that thing is an animal after center diff fluid
Your hair grows really fast Earl
Lol
I learnt a good fix for the servo saver use the spring out of the kimbrough kp124 and put it in the arrma one, it's hard to get in but works well
Why not just use the kimrough saver, I’ve seen this trick but i haven’t looked at closely because i used the HR ones but I have a couple , if it’s bigger just cut it down to size easier than messing with the spring 😂
@RcPlayer-tt2vw I did trim the kimbrough to fit but it looked week because of all the extra holes it it
@@iankibbler5616 gotcha , the hot racing ones pretty good so far , I put one of those cheaper all aluminum servos 45kg I think for 30 bucks
@@iankibbler5616 with the granite I used to just change them because only cost 2 dollars but that trucks a lot easier on em
it's hard to get the hot racing ones in the uk can order them from usa but cost nearly $40 with delivery
Kembrough servo saver fixed mine. Stock servo saver is super weak
Good looking. Thx for suggestion
So that’s the problem the servo saver?
Someone told me he only swap the spring of the kembrough servo with the Arrma one. No need to change the whole thing.
@@alphakid7771 you could probably do that and not have to monkey with trimming the kembrough.

Get a thicker oil for the rear shocks, it helps the steering s bit.
West Coast getting a little sample of East Coast wet weather🤣😂
Yes we are

As always great video so the 20 mil really made that much of a difference which 20 million did you use Team Associated?
What a huge difference , that’s how a stunt truck should be from factory

Hello, I like your videos.
Did the 20 Mio works still, how is it on dry ground?
I will do the 1. Mio
Always depends on your weather what fluids to run

What are you running front and rear? 60k?
Hey bro, does it seem hard to backflip off jumps with the 20million? Ty in advance! Mines ballooning soo hard but I love my ramps
Thinking about getting an Xrt or kraton 8s which one is more reliable or better ?
Plastic chassis more reliable in some areas warmer weather
Hmm exactly the same as the slipper clutch 😂
Earl, is a stunt double for Tom Cruise
Is this v4 1/10 size ?

Weird that I Dont See A Thumbs Up Icon on the video..?
