This whole OL should be pro bowlers good lawd lock has all day
But doesn’t get shit for it like Haskins did. And look at the teams he’s playing
That's why the Giants skipped all the hyped quarterbacks. The all had to much protection
Isiah Goldston uh duke plays worse teams than what Missouri has to play dummy
@@mattcuz1111 any QB should be able to hit targets behind the best offensive lines
@@directorzay4250 Uh, like Tim Tebow? LOL...
Thank you for not putting a lame music track over this.
Beat me to it!
Agree
You mean that ghetto cussing noise? I agree.
White boys
I agree Ghetto music for sure
2:04 and 3:59 have to be two of my favorite throws I've ever seen. The way he hits the receiver perfectly in stride on a LINE has got to be the most beautiful thing ever.
BRONCOS fan here hopefully he brings us good luck against the chargers
And he did
i hope he does good against elite defenses otherwise back to the drawing board lets beat Tennesee
This could be turning point remember when people thought Peyton Manning was washed up and he came up for Against The Chargers
@@JBTriple8 no turning point yet, just more growing pains
Drew lock. Great pick Broncos!!
@benny pitt arm talent, mobility, patience with letting the play develop so long as his OL, improving on scanning the field in the pros. That and he'd have actually had a better career at Missouri if the receivers didn't drop so many passes and thus been a mid first round pick.
@benny pitt fight, grit, work ethic as well.
@benny pitt also has a very effortless release to throws of 40+ yards
Wow. This guy has a future. This guy throws 40+ yards and looks like there's barely any effort in the throw. And he's pretty accurate.
Has Aaron Rodgers potential .
🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@bradstrayer485 😭😭🤣🤣🤣😂
@@sAMMYsILVER. 💀 💀 💀
Broncos fan here. How's his future looking now?
Anyone here after his two first games with over 400+ yards and 5 touchdowns?
yupp heres to hoping that fire keeps burning
8
Viet Nguyen what? So far drew has thrown 6 touchdowns
Maybe 8/hopefully more after the raiders lol
anybody here after he might get cut?
Damn, this dude low-key has an Aaron Rodgers throwing motion with a fast release!!
He's def on my Radar if I'm a GM 💯💯
Yep, noticed that too
😂😂😂
Youre fired as GM
That offensive line is incredible! I wonder how many of them will be drafted. They give him crazy time to throw
This kid looks very impressive. His arm strength and accuracy are elite, and he can really run for a 6'4 QB. A lot of teams are going to work this guy out, and I can see him being the #1 QB drafted. His junior year stats are crazy: 3,962 yards passing, 44 TD's & 13 INT's.
Get this guy a line in the nfl and he can easily be one of the best
Didnt age well
His name sounds like a bootleg version of Andrew Luck.
What So Foster 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Kid: Yo man I got the new Andrew Lucks!!! Oh yeah!
Friends: Bitch please! Those are more like drew locks. 😂😂
lock sounds better than luck
Broncos fans this is our franchise quarterback. Joe Flacco will be a great mentor for him.A MLB can wait🤷🏽♂️👏🏾
As a fellow Broncos fan, I hope you're right. But, no way can I say he'll be the franchise QB from this video....it's highlights (best of the good plays), and the college environment is a far cry from what he'll have to face in the NFL.
😂
I've never seen a quarterback be so relaxed in a game. He's an amazing talent.
I'm definitely getting a Jay Cutler vibe from this dude. He's got the arm for sure but he also had all day to throw in most of these highlights
I dont think this guy is as talented as people think. He literally has perfect protection and all the time in the world lol.
Well then dont think
This didn’t age well hater.
He was decent in college cause his Oline was pretty good look at that protection
He's got a great arm, for sure. But I see more bad defense than good offense in this video.
The same could be said for any college QB that has been drafted.
Needs to lift his arm
Nick Mullinix it’s not about that look at how he throws it he has a big arm and has good touch that’s the point
@@mattcuz1111 so did Ryan Leaf
He really raw and has a good OL giving him time
LMAO he has all the time in the world back there. Let's see how he does against an nfl pass rush.
Eric These were highlights vs easy teams for some reason(except for Bama). Watch him vs sec opponents when he gets rushed, he’s just as good. He’s calm under pressure.
My point exactly.....if he improves his release he will be good
Show him against stiffer competition like alabama he was trash..a backup in the NFL....all these highlights was against paper thin defenses....please ! Dont believe the hype !
Exactly what I was thinking
Well if he gets drafted by a team in the 1st Round early 2nd..then that says all that team needs right now is a QB.
That release and the trajectory on his deep throws reminds me of Dan Marino.
Buys time, good fakes, good arm, executes RPO. Now that he is with Seattle, I could see him returning to form from his rookie year in NFL. Waldron's offense with lots of motion and fakes could help him out and give him multiple targets at different levels. The big thing with Seahawks is they hate turnovers, so better if he tucks and runs than throw an INT and get benched.
🤡🤡🤡
I remember being at almost all of these games
Who’s here after the Broncos picked him?
#BroncoNation
Here
Bill Crisp It’s Broncos Country
King Stacy You sound like someone who argues with everybody
@@KizaWittaker it's true. We're Broncos COUNTRY.
That release of his is so quick and deadly he'll be great on any qb needy team
The announcer said, lock has time for lunch (back there). No pass rush I want his o line
Looked okay, but boy did his offensive line buy him a lot of time in the pocket to go through every read and opened up plenty of lanes for him scramble for first downs and touchdowns.
Hope he turns out good for the Broncos. But, with so much shotgun-only plays, many plays where there was a lot of time to throw the ball, and his small hands (it was speculated Case Keenum's small hands hampered him in the outdoor environment of Mile High), he's got a lot to prove.
Drew lock be in the broncos
DJ Godzilla it’s that simple😂🤷🏽♂️
Giants are thinking about this guy for the 2nd round. If Broncos do it in round 1 then slick move lol
The broncos will get him
Broncos will still be bad next year then.
Yeah right
Coming to Miami 🔥🔥🐬
KaseyMK7 no thank u
This dude is underrated. Should of been a first round pick!
Happy you dont run my team
Elway's 3rd pick in this draft, so no huge loss if he doesnt pan out. Fant is a freak who will dominate in the slot
The new drew brees I kid you NOT put a #9 on dat boy
ryan finley, kelvin harmon, deionte thompson, mack wilson, trevon diggs, kendall sheffield, greedy williams
Michael Moore Trash Maybe good good good good great
this shows that with a good o line that gives him time he is a good qb in the nfl people have been hating on him lately saying we should move on from him i say we give him another year unless we get someone like watson🤷🏽♂️
No kizzy
Hawks built the o line for him to succeed today let’s see what he does with it
He can become one of two things in a good system a great qb or a game manager...both not bad
Can we also remember how good Emmanuel hall was
Talk about arm strength -- he throws such a pretty deep ball! He's obviously got things to work on, but the talent is there.
I went to a rival high school and was a year older, but I’m glad to see Lock get some looks. Hope everything goes well for him!!!
After playing as a flanker and tailback for a few years i moved to the QB position and learned a ton and judging by some of the comments here, i think a lot of you only watch football lol. I see plenty of good here... He isnt Haskins or Murray but his draft stock makes enough sense.
He just needs to be polished up but he has talent lol. Some of you need to drop the habit of visualizing (in this case a qb) a QB who just looks perfect and fits your own criteria, get over yourself. Analyze it the right way. If you're confused about his draft stock, then just move on. Go check out a different position lol.
fightlifeisaiah as a former college QB myself, I agree he has good intangibles. But he had quite a bit of time to throw on all of those throws. His pocket awareness seems to be above average for FBS QB though.
@@paulwarren3057 But im not going to complain that he has time in the pocket, ya know? That's a damn dream come true. Hell im jealous. I never had that. I had a pretty sketchy OL. A lot of people on this comment section are baggin on hin for having time in pocket and it just blows my mind.
Remember who Josh Allen played well against at Wyoming. It was vs the worst teams on their schedule, and he was horrible when he played ranked teams. Now, he didn't have a very good passing season, but he did start to look better towards the end of the season. His running ability is what blew me away. This kid might be just as athletic and is 6'4. He might be raw, but if a good QB coach works with him, he has the rare arm strength like Josh Allen, that it's worth a shot. He'll probably do a lot of running at first until he gets better at reading defenses and the NFL game slows down for him.
Dude's got 5 seconds to throw each time.
Thomas Anthony ur missing the point
Mattcuz11 What’s the point?
Elway better draft this guy. Would like to see him under center though but I see him transitioning well to the NFL. He has the arm talent, IQ and is a great athlete
One or two years behind Joe Flacco could make this kid really good
Looks like we got him.
Underrated QB and underrated channel
Cs 3 Thank you!
Cs 3 he’s overrated QB
nalim lattarai stop
nalim lattarai back up your opinion how he’s an overrated qb
Hes by far the best qb in this draft
Damn what a good QB Denver could use this guy
He slings the rock like he rolling dice..almost too easy letting it go. He's a project with potential. Throwing mechanics will have to change a bit at the pro level.
I notice his arm is so strong his body does not need to be in position to throw. Amazing arm. I think it`s true if available at pick 10, Denver is taking Drew. And you can put a LOCK on it. get it lock, lock. as in ,,,
WE GOT HIM EVEN THO HE SLIPPED!
He's got that Arron Rodgers zip on the ball when he throws it I think he is even around the same height
Drew is an inch taller but yeah the zip is similar
Lock reminds me of Stafford. I like him a lot for the gmen . With guys like Odell , Bark, and Engram, think he's a nice fit.
He reminds me more of Bledsoe. However I think he should be the NUMBER 1 QB to go in the draft.
@chadwick-- nah, has more mobile and can move around the pocket then Bledsoe ever could. Like Stafford, who's not gonna be thought of as a RG3 or anything, but both Stafford and Lock aren't total statues like Bledsoe was.
Dude is not a 1st round pick
He reminds of me of Jay Cutler. He can make any throw and every throw look easy but his inconsistency with his accuracy and decisions making reading defense needs a lot of work.
Way better than Stafford
Nice spiral. Throws in stride. All the good QB throw tight spiral imo
peyton manning?
Why does the ball come off his hand and look like a fucking piece of butter melting down a hot biscuit? It then glides through the air like a spoon through jello, beautiful.
His release reminds me of Aaron Rodgers and Matthew Stafford.
Christian Bryant and jay cutler arm strength
This dudes gonna be a beast I love drew lock
Thrilling Productions true dat
I love his quick release, footwork and arm strength. I hope my dolphins draft him .
What if they don't?
He has such a smooth throwing motion
Damn this guy has a crazy fast release and a serious arm. With Vic Fangio hired as headcoach, kubiak coming in for the offense, broncos would be in good shape.
wow, the flings the ball without effort.. i like that..
Elway...you can't let this guy get away..plays just like him..dude barely throws his hip and it launches downfield!
Man I could make throws like that with all the time he has in the pocket. If he can’t make those same throws under pressure he’ll be a buss.
Get this man to the redskins
We definitely need a QB now
Well you have Alex Smith! He is good d
Nah this man coming to the Giants
BigBlue4Life giants?? Y’all either want haskins, herbert y’all don’t even want grier
@@kormikdunbar2094 He ain't going to the Giants. Y'all want to keep Eli anyways lol. Watching the game tape, he needs a good o line because his footwork is terrible when it comes to scrambling in the pocket.
Skins at #15! QB camp battle with McCoy, Start Keenum, play him until he doesn’t play well/mediocre about week 4/5ish. Plug in Lock for future.
He wont be there at 15 with the way teams go after QBs now
Wishful thinking lol
It looks like the whole college game seem effortless to him, like he's just having fun and doesn't even have to try. Anyone else see that too?
Kid reminds me of Warren Moon..tight spiral good touch rocket arm.....and great pocket awareness.
Miami dolphins need this guy
This dude is from Star wars straight lazer beems
This kid might be the best prospect in this class.
I was wrong lol
Giants need this oline
No shit lol
😂😂 y’all got Daniel jones
What’s ironic is the missouri o line was trash this year and had 3 returning starters
probably just me on this but some of the longer passes you can kinda notice how the receiver has to slow down to catch the ball. don't know how big of an issue that might be to fix but he's gotta hit them in stride.
@No Comps there are at least 5 different examples. and I had them all typed out... then I accidentally switched pages... I'm not saying I dont like this kid, in fact, on the contrary, I hope my team drafts him.
ill go through this again, just for you though. starting with 0:46 the receiver had to slow down to catch the ball. 0:56 the receiver had actually turned back to him on the Go Route. 1:26 again, the receiver had to slow down in order to secure a ball that the DB very nearly got. 3:20 again, receiver was waiting for the ball. 3:38 again, receiver has to slow down to catch the ball. 4:10 where the receiver is turned towards the qb although this is a bit more acceptable since the qb is out of the pocket. and finally, 5:06 the receiver has to come back for it instead of being able to run free.
Looks like the strongest arm in college
One highlight against Georgia. One highlight against Bama. I watched the Georgia game too, don’t know if I want Lock with 10th pick to Denver.
Imagine if he ends up on the same team as emmanuel hall
AYYYY WHERE MY FELLOW BRONCO FANS AT LETS FUCKIN GO
Who’s here after Seahawks trade? 🤔
I have a PREMONITION that Drew Lock is our guy for the Giants
I've been saying this. People even speculate him as a second rounder possibly. If somehow get an offensive tackle and then get him in the second in hyped. But if we take a QB in the first I still want it to be lock. This kid will be good for sure. Especially with a year under Eli. Like that would be perfect.
1st round would be a total wasste. Giants need a sick tackle in the 1st. Drew in 2nd round is othe only smart play.
@@ninezerotwo1778 stfu they aren't taking a tackle at 10 th pick
Funny you say that since that's literally the plan their management hinted toward.
@@ninezerotwo1778 I woudnt be surprised if they traded back with a team like the Raiders for their two late first round picks (Saints and Bears) and then get Drew Lock and an OT like Dalton Risner
He is coming to Denver
And with the 17th pick of the 2019 NFL draft, the New York Giants select... Drew Lock, Missouri
Almost. 6th*, Daniel Jones*
True Lock looking like 1st or 2nd QB of the broad with a strong combine
Oh and lets not forget that he is 2nd for most career passing yards in SEC history and 44 TD's last season.
He looks like a good QB he can throw well of his back foot. I think he will fit well in a run and gun offense.
He'll be a quality back-up for years to come.
4 days later he's able to make a throw....😁😁😁
Who's here after the Seahawks beat the Eagles?
His release is hella quick
Damn have to admit he looked really good vs a great Florida defense.
Elway better draft a QB. Drew looks like he reads progressions extremely well. Seems like a smart guy, with a big arm who can break a few runs. Sounds like John Elway to me.
This kid looks way better then what I heard. The proof is seeing with your own eyes 👀.
Y’all need to stop hating cuz y’all keep saying he’s having a lot of time thts not his fault plus the nfl rushers ain’t any better (except the bears, ravens)so stop it
I love his release.
DTS _ no
Bring him to the colts for the name alone. So we will have andrew luck and drew lock
HTTR I Got The Feeling
Does he throw anything other than the fade or is that all his highlight stuff?
Eric Lucero well it’s not like he’s gonna start immediately he’s gonna learn from Super Bowl mvp Flacco
Damn he’s really accurate
He reminds me of carson wentz Mobile can make ant throws smart
Would be nice to see him come to Cincinnati with the 11th pick with all these new QB exp minded coach's we got coming in..should fit real nice with our pro style offense...plus he will have a year to develop behind Dalton
Welcome to Denver, Lock!
#DB4L 💙🧡💙
Love how they didn’t show him against my Kentucky team😎
He has a great arm, but that line is giving him a lot of time to throw. He'll only succeed if he gets drafted by a good team.
Lock passes the eye test as a passer. Those running plays will not happen in the NFL, but i saw enough arm talent to justify a 1st round grade. I do think Ryan Finley is the better qb. More accurate, makes fast decisions, & has the stronger arm.
slimjimmy Ryan Finley doesn’t have anywhere near drew locks arm strength
