i love these kind of videos. I have a 1947-50s premier drum set. I t was my grandfathers, took the snare to my good friend and he restored it. The wrap was cracked as well as the shell, but with some glue and extra wood support we took the wrap off and stained the wood a nice dark yellow natural finish. The rims were interesting, its almost like a die cast rim except the flange goes inward on the top like a "stick saver" rim with the die cast tension rod holes. The bass drum is still sitting around, thinking about giving that one a makeover too.
