Phantom Jump isn't needed to clear the skipped level, tested after downloading. Start the first jump after the 2 question mark blocks and double jump before hitting the wall and keep twirling a lot as you're heading left and you will be able to triple jump.
But wouldn't he run out of time?

In his defense he’s so used to playing super complicated levels that I noticed he usually always saves a p switch or pow when given the chance. Sometimes I see an easy solution like this because I’m not on his level.
The P Switch in stage 3 was intended to be used to turn that single coin into a solid block that you could use to get on top of the saws easier with Yoshi.
Imagine if on the last level the creator had made the last snake go left into the spikes before the win…. That would’ve gotten him so hard…
16:36 it looks like you could wall jump off the right wall, land on the left below, do a short double jump and then do a full triple
No wall jump needed. Just do one jump where it is intended to do two, then reverse momentum of the second jump at the wall and you can triple jump to the left
17:40 and to complete the explanation as to why he skipped the level, Nintendo released an update that patched the ability to perform phantom jumps. Making any level uploaded before the patch that contain phantom jumps (at least those who actually require the phantom jump) impossible to beat. It has become commonplace for no-skip challenges on many channels, not only Ryus, to skip when a phantom jump is indicated.

I think you cut it a little short there.
These troll blocks are quite clever and quite hilarious it's hard not to laugh when you're playing and expect to do a huge jump and then you hit the troll block and then you have to start the level all over again. At least you have some check points on these rounds. You also get mushrooms so it seems that this level is a bit more fair then the past ones I have watched you do.
I love all your channels and I religiously watch you and you keep me laughing I have even started playing Mario Maker myself now it's fun though watching a king like you play. Cheers buddy.
4:33 Ryu missed that a mushroom came out of this block. You're supposed to throw the shell and get the mushroom on top of where the 1-UPs are but Ryu's speed made a nice cheese

Neat levels. Good job. I just turned on my Wii U to check out Mario Maker and came to find out that my last account I made that had many 0.00% levels on it had all gotten beaten finally. I wonder if you know the guys that beat them. They were a guy named " Krypto " and a guy named " Fritzev " But I do remember Fritzev. He's extremely good. I don't know why he never made a RUclips channel either though. I had other levels I made on other accounts and 2 of them were made with your name in the Titles. I'll have to check and see if they were beaten. There's 2 Carl levels out there and one GPB level out there that I made no one has beaten yet unless they just did and I have to check those other accounts now. Anyways, sucks to be defeated on that account. But the 0.00% reign did last a good while.

Level 2 he was supposed to kick the shell to his the block at the bottom and collect the mushroom.

Ppl say Ryu throws for content, but like, bombs are really finicky. They go the way opposite the side you land on, so if you happen to land on the left of center (on a moving single tile) they go right.

Even though the jumps were patched out levels still up before it was patched out are able to be beaten with said trick.
The P-switch was to make it easier to get on top of the moving saw blades. U collected the coin instead of using it
You were supposed to use the p switch then jump on the coin to reveal a hidden block but u grabbed the coin lol

Stage 1 was such garbage... A hidden block that the magikoopa could destroy is your only way to the pipe... Magikoopa excavation... Immediately followed by being dropped into the lava after a long fall from a pipe.
The scene with the ceiling beetles was pretty funny tho :).

Turna out the most difficult level in the world wasnt too difficult. Certainly easier than a certain midair consistency level i know about
man I'm gonna miss SMM1. If they had just made SSM2 halfway decent it wouldn't have made the loss that great but SSM2 is just awful. Cant stand all the new stuff like the cat suit and whatnot and the removal of 100 man was devastating.

No skipping phantom jumps Ryu, you just have to find a way to cheese it.
In this case it looked easy to bypass; just hit the two question blocks for the double and hold left instead of going right.
@@Shellacklethis won't work, it doesn't let you triple jump to another direction unless you reverse the momentum at a wall. That said, you can do exactly this on the right wall if you only do a single jump in the area where the whole jump sequence starts
