You have restored my cake pop making confidence! I'm planning a Drive-Up baby shower for my sister in 2 weeks. I've been having a hard time finding someone locally to make them for me, so I've been watching tutorials to learn how to make them myself. You have saved the day with your tutorial. The few I watched weren't as easy to follow as yours. I'm totally going to make these with the theme colors; thank you!
I'm so happy to hear that! I'm sure they'll be delicious! :)
I'm going to try this for my upcoming events. So cute how you put them on display
Wow this recipe is amazing! I love how you can just use let over pieces of cake instead of making one yourself lol.
I love how beautiful your cake pops came out! I'm going to have to give this a try! 💗

Just discovered your channel and I am LOVING the powder, sprinkle, and other decorations!! Do you have a place you recommend to buy baking supplies online? Like the gold glitter in your chocolate bomb recipe or the gold sprinkles here?
Thank you! Scoop N Save & Michaels are my go to’s :)

I ADORE CAKE POPS LIKE U DO TOO🥰🤩🤩🤩😍😍
👇
I forgot to put them in the fridge and it literally broke apart in the candy melt 🤦♀️😂 i knew i missed a step! lol
Oh no haha!! Hopefully they at least tasted good 😅
Did you use any thinning aid?
Woww too good
Thank you! 😊
I’m so excited to make these! Where did you get the gold sprinkles?
I used Wilton pearlized sugar sprinkles from Michaels. Have fun making them! :)
Omg so trying this
I wish I ate them!!!!
Thank you
As you did the cake pops into the candy melts, do you ever have to reheat the melts? Wondering if the candy melts start to thicken up with all the cold pops dipping in.
I've never personally had that problem but it's definitely possible. If the candy melts start to get thick just pop them in the microwave for 15-30 seconds to loosen them back up.
Love your💅🏽
😋
How long do you put it in the fridge for
Do we have to use candy melts
👍👍👍👍👍👍
After you do them.....do you put them in fridge. I have a party coming up and wanted to know to do them a day before or the same day
Yes definitely keep them in the fridge! You can make them the day of the party or the day before.
Hi... Areesa...
Any cake decoration or cake item for the teachers day celebrations...$
Love this:) can you used plane store bought cake
Yes store bought will work! :)
How long did you let it sit before you dip them in the candy melt
I put them in the freezer for around 15 minutes
How long do you let them set in the fridge before dipping in chocolate ?
Around 30 minutes in the fridge or 15 in the freezer!
Was just gonna ask. Glad i came to the comments
Hi I know this is old vid but I just tried this and I don't have time tonight to dip them in chocolate can I leave the cake balls in the fridge overnight?
@@sarrahjowahir3604 yes,
@@cvsmiss7578 do I still have to put them in the freezer before sticking the stick in and dipping or no
Can I use any candy to melt?
What would I need to make these ? Where did you buy the stuff ? They came out nice 👍
I bought the candy melts and cake pop sticks from Michaels but you can find them at most cake decorating stores or online. You also need cake and buttercream :)
Oh okay thank you 😄!!!
How do you melt your chocolate (do you add anything) and what brand did you use?
Thanks for the recipe 😘
The buttercream that you used is it just buttercream frosting ?
I'm eating cake pop right now
could store bought brand frosting work? and where to get the candy melts?
can i use regular chocolate instead of candy melts?
Regular chocolate should work as well! It might be a little trickier to work with depending on which kind you use, if it's too thick you can add a little bit of coconut oil to make it easier to dip.
Hi how do you get your cake pops to stand in the polystyrene. I tried that but before I finished the last one they started to slide down the sticks. Still tasted delicious.
There could be a few different reasons for that...1) chill the cake pops for longer before dipping them, 2) don't forget to dip the stick in the chocolate/candy melts before putting them in the cake balls, 3) not enough buttercream (since the buttercream is the "glue" that holds the ball together). Hope that helps!
Thanks I'm doing this for my babushower
Thanks. I’m making some for a bridal shower.
can I use frosting instead of buttercream do they work the same?
Frosting works!
In this case yes, they will both work the same!
Areesa can I use white chocolate?
Can you do this with icing on the outside?
Is the butter cream just butter cream icing or something else?
Butter cream icing?
Can you please tell us what kind of cake am buttercream you used in the description and where you bought the sprinkles thanks ☺️💗
I used chocolate cake and chocolate Italian meringue buttercream. I made my own cake that's similar to a devils food cake and there's a video on my channel for the buttercream, but you can use pretty much any cake and frosting for this! The sprinkles are from Michaels. Hope that helps :)
So we can just use regular icing to mix in with the dry cake to form the balls and that would be okay?
Can you share how you make the buttercreme?
What kind of butter cream did you use
Hi areas do u need buttercream or can u use frosting
Frosting should work as well!
Thank you 💜🍃🎶🌌
I am gonna try your way
And tall you💞.
Tasty
She is so pretty
Aww thank you!! :)
I love your videos and I am a big fan so thank you so much for the reply
What type of buttercream do you use?
I used chocolate Italian meringue buttercream because I had some leftover from another cake, but you can use pretty much any buttercream you like. I have a video on how to make Italian meringue buttercream on my channel if you want to try that one!
Where did you buy these pink chocolate??
I've tried this but the candy melts I used crack when I dip them..any suggestions?
That means the cake pops are too cold
Hi I was just wondering bc I thought for some reason if the cake pops
Were too cold and the candy melts were warm it would fall apart .. so if I freeze the cake pops 15 minutes and use the chocolate melting pot will I be ok .. I was putting my cake pops in the fridge for. 10 mins then Dipping into the candy melts but for some reason now it’s just falling apart and I’m getting discouraged 😔
Don't get discouraged!! The cake pops need to be pretty solid before dipping them so I think you just weren't letting them chill for long enough. Yes, 15 minutes in the freezer and then into the melted candy melts should work. If they still fall apart you can freeze them a little bit longer and also next time add a little bit more buttercream before forming them into balls. You can do it!!
Btw how did u make the buttercream ? Can u also buy buttercream from the shop too and would it be as nice ?
There is an Italian Meringue Buttercream tutorial on my channel! That is the buttercream I used here but you can use any kind you like. Store bought would work as well, although I think homemade tastes a lot better!
Areesa can you use white chocolate too? x
Thanks I will try today I didn't know you had to freeze cake pops for 10 minutes and the last time I tried making them they fell off the stick and into the melted candy container and crumbled it was a disaster🤦
Haha glad this helped! Good luck on your next batch!
How?
is the buttercream chocolate or vanilla?
I used chocolate but either one would work!
did you use anything to make the chocolate thinner so it will be easier to coat the pop?
I didn’t here, but if your candy melts are too thick just add a tiny bit of coconut oil or vegetable shortening!
@@Areesa great thank you very much
What kind of other chocolate can we use ? Because in my opinion I don’t like nun of the candy melts !
Sorry what did you say you used to hold the crumbled cake together?
Buttercream!
What brand of candy melt you use?
I used Wilton!
You made that look easy. Mine ALWAYS fall off, super annoying
Can we use regular frosting instead?
Yes any frosting will work!
