SVO's long-term commitment to the development of a Cattleya breeding program has spanned over 40 years. Their creative abilities have developed many new and unique hybrids. Orchid growers can attest to this, as hundreds of awards have been given to their plants originating from Sunset Valley Orchids.
All of SVO's orchid hybrids are grown from seed, raising them to maturity in their 48,000 sq. ft. greenhouse space. Their rigorous selection process allows for the strongest plants to be advanced through each phase of the production cycle. This process starts in the lab, at de-flasking, throughout the up-potting, and then carries through to maturity. This rigorous process assures that SVO offers only the healthiest, most vigorous plants.

4:24 I'm interested to see what this one will look like since the flower shape on both are completely different.
6:41 I got the Gulfshore's Beauty from Hausermann's last year. It grew during the summer and maybe this year it will bloom. It has green petals and a pink lip.
10:04 One of Ninja Orchid's new videos goes into the reclassification of the Potinara genus. According to Ninja Orchids, true Potinaras should have no ancestor reclassification (Brassavola, Cattleya, Laelia, or Sophronitis). If so, then it's probably now a Rhyncholaeliocattleya. 😵‍💫
