Hi Bryan. Orchids in Bloom were beautiful, and their flowers were amazing. Thank you for another great tour in warm (well warmer than SE PA right now) beautiful Florida
Thank you for the kind words, Karen! I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! It definitely felt nice to be in the warm weather during this cold time of the year! Haha
How wonderful! Here in Spain there are no greenhouses with that variety of orchids. To get something different from phalaenopsis you have to buy online
16:51 I bought a couple of cattleyas with green and pink flowers last year. No blooms so far. 😅 17:41 I want to try an Antelope Dendrobium outside during summer since I heard that can be in full sun. The ones that Roger's Orchids had didn't survive the cold there recently. 18:49 The Peng Seng I got from the orchid show is a mini version of this dendrobium. It's very sensitive to cold temperatures (under 65°F), but it made two canes, a bunch of roots, and it's in bud again. 23:34 This cattleya might be the Amazing Thailand. I got one from Logee's this summer and it's been making new roots recently. 24:35 My first Phal. schilleriana is in full bloom now with 7 blooms. It's not fragrant yet and I might repot after the flowers are done. It only took 10 months to bloom. 28:38 Oh! 😮 My favorite! 29:51 Or this one! 😁 I thought that lady that was yelling in the background for most of the video was fighting with someone. 😨
Thank you for watching, Joe! You should definitely give the antelope dendrobium orchids a try! I grew them well indoors and they do love the outdoor sun! I hope you get the green and pink cattleyas to bloom soon! You won’t be disappointed!! :)
Is it me or in the US, Phalaenopsis are not very popular ? 😢 In Europe and also Russia (I saw this on RUclips), they are the most cultivated orchids. Polychilos sub genus are absolutly stunning and everybody could fall in love of these beautiful plants. 😊❤
The US definitely loves its phalaenopsis. I would say it is the most popular orchid in the United States. Unfortunately, I have not highlighted very many Phalaenopsis species on the channel, but I hope to highlight more in the future! Thanks for watching! :)
I’ve started to see reblooms after following your advice!
Amazing! I am so glad you are seeing reblooms! Always happy to help! :)
Waooo 😮espectaculares 😍👍
It is a spectacular nursery for sure! Thanks for watching!

We are very lucky to have amazing orchid nurseries throughout the US! :)
If you live in Madrid, try in Senda Animal; you will find amazing orchid species.
