Hey there Quasi, go with the Rebel - take something with "longer legs". Your going to be one the PCX enough in the coming months. The image from the GoPro 11 is really nice hope you enjoy that Samsung S22 - SO MANY NEW TOYS!
How you doing my man take the Riker the only reason why I said I love that bike even though it break dance to the right I love it take it easy now biologic side I really do think it's the food bike and I think sometimes I'm the bestest things you can get in the world you might have problems with it but after that you just love them anyway then in that bike really suit you man don't get rid of it man keep in I know it's going to cause some money to get get it fixed up look at it like that it's never easy so enjoy have a good day and have a safe trip always🏍
Agreed on all points! If I were one of those poor stiffs in a 4-wheeled cage, then my commute would have easily taken over an hour. No HOV lane, no filtering... ugh... no thanks! 😉👍 --QM
Problems w/mount, batt and mem card sucks but the video quality is so much better than the 7. The audio is still great as always unlike some other vloggers. Some of the others are so bad I can't watch.😂🤣 Take the Navi, 60+ fuel stops should be fun.😂🤣
Agreed! Yes, I have eaten there many times. I used to live just inside the loop at 610 & Richmond Ave, so I would go there for Buffalo burgers sometimes. They were grandfathered-in by some old property clause before all of the highway expansions happened. Reportedly, they are always walking on egg shells now because they can't change anything that requires a code change or new building permits... they'd get kicked out of that little stamp of land. 🤣👍 --QM
That's the RiderScan Blindspot Mirror: amzn.to/3nJjXLp . It really helps situational awareness in traffic. There is a learning curve to using it properly because the image is convex, but it becomes second nature after a few hours of riding. It's very rare for me to be caught off-guard with a cager hiding in my blind spot while I'm riding with one of these mirrors. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM
Nice filtering! Ever gone past any LEOs while lane-sharing? I know in Houston enforcement varies, sometimes it's very enforced, and other times it's completely tolerated (based on the area)
PartZilla still has the replacement tank on backorder. The estimated delivery is Oct 31st. I'll probably go ahead and clean out the old tank just as an exercise in "can it be saved?" I'll put it all together again when the new tank comes in later this month. 😉👍 --QM
@@QuasiMotard Vi-ne-gar! Vi-ne-gar! Vi-ne-gar! ...ok going back to my shy cave now... :D Sorry Quasi, I can be quite annoying sometimes. I just really wanted to see if Vinegar can save that fuel tank somehow.
I considered taking the Ryker for the 3000-mile trip, but it would have been torture to wrangle that thing for so many miles. I'm riding in the Houston, TX area in this vlog. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM
Howdy! The telemetry data for the heads-up display is recorded by my GoPro Hero11 camera (and my Garmin Zumo GPS when I'm riding with it). The gauge overlay is generated using a third-party program called Telemetry Overlay: goprotelemetryextractor.com/ I stitch everything together with Adobe Premiere Pro to create the final videos. Creating the overlays is a lot of extra work, but I think the end results are worth the effort. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM
Agreed! However, Cali isn't the only state anymore... Arizona just signed it into law as well under SB-1273: www.kold.com/2022/09/23/arizona-become-fourth-state-allow-some-lane-filtering-motorcyclists/ . That article lists AZ as the "forth state", so I'm curious about the other two. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM
Always love your videos, but you should not encourage viewers to lane split. Not only rude, but not safe, and not legal. There is a reason only California allows it.
lane splitting should be legal everywhere. Dont be a douche tyrant, we got enough of that. I say live up to that Rebel inside and lane split whenever the F u want.

Hats off to you. Lane splitting, heck commuting on two wheels in Houston, takes MASSIVE CAJONES.
Thank you for awesome video! Mr. Aaron 🍻
That`s one thing I can not do because my bike little wide of splitting lanes! Mr. Aaron 🍻
Look forward to seeing you at the meet Quasi. Be safe on the trip! My votes for the Rebel ^ ^

35+ minutes for a 23 mile commute? That's brutal. And yes to lane splitting (safe speed and manner of course).
Agreed on all points! If I were one of those poor stiffs in a 4-wheeled cage, then my commute would have easily taken over an hour. No HOV lane, no filtering... ugh... no thanks! 😉👍 --QM
I’m kinda a fan of the CB500X. But you do you.
Ladders on I-40 here everyday also.’
Everyone voting for the damn Rebel, Take the CB500X! Its one of the three I am considering for my 6-month around the US trip!
Hey. I think the cb500 would have a smoother ride. But the 1100 would have a easier time on the freeways. Have fun!!
Guns pulled on you!? GEEZ, People are INSANE. The hero 11 looks amazing!

Have you ever been to the Buffalo burger place over there by Microcenter? It looks like a hole but the food is great

What is that curved mirror on the windshield? Looks very useful.

Yep, that has happened to me dozens of times. I even got it on camera here: ruclips.net/video/5yNqqomduxs/видео.html . 🤣👍 --QM
In England, police cars will pull over a little to help you filter through.
@@QuasiMotard Amazing, thanks for your help in normalizing it in TX. Great footage

What's the status on the C3? Feel like we are kinda hangin'.😂🤣

Lane splitting.... it's not illegal if you don't get caught. (Coming from the Cali guy, the only state where it's legal.) 😄

If you take the Ryker you wont make it out of Texas. Rebel gets my vote.
Ride the rebel.
