Everyone in the audience looks at the kid, and they look back at the accomplishments they had achieved. Nothing compared to this young kid. Hope he never stops playing.
Actually the audience looks at the kid and wonders what a poor childhood he must have. Spending that much time playing piano is not the desirable life of a child.
Joseph Slattery Fair enough if he really loves it, but he probably never had the chance as a child to find his own passion. Similar to Lang Lang who was forced to play 8 hours a day as a child.
@@onlyabudi No child should be forced into playing like that. But if a kid chooses to practice that much then that is fine. As a kid i used to spend 5 hours a day practicing. No one ever told me to and in fact my mom actually discouraged me from that much practice. But i loved it. So as long as the kid enjoys what he does, i dont see a problem with it
Very very very very impressed! At his age already playing such a demanding piece, and doing it so well! WOW! No surprise lots of people stayed, I would definitely have listened to him too.
What I admire most next to his talent, is his deep concentration and good memory to play each piece perfectly despite all loud noises around him everywhere he plays. Wish him a long life good luck & success.
And now he is playing with orchestras all over the world and winning major competitions! People are probably paying what?... $20-$75 a seat to hear him? These people got to listen for free!
My all-time favorite! Can't believe I've still not learned to play the third movement...and this kid?! Wow! So incredible...what an artist! Surely, Beethoven is smiling!
En attendant un train pourquoi ne pas faire partager un pur moment de bonheur à une foule admirative, alors que les smartphones nous envahissent. FELICITATIONS à tous ces jeunes qui savent découvrir et faire découvrir les grandes valeurs de la vie. Merci.
What a fucking genious Beethoven was to have wrote this. I am always amased how good this piece is, every time I hear it. Not just in terms of difficulty, but in terms of great songwriting. Everything about it is so perfect. hands down ... And great performance as well, you play really well kid, you got the touch.
+Stefán Atli Jakobsson I just finished a clockwork orange about a year back and it got me listening to classical music. Im still very new to the genre, what piece of his is this?
+Stefán Atli Jakobsson sorry i should have given context. A Clockwork Orange is a fiction novel written by Anthony Burgess and the main character (alex) is a big beethoven fan.
Daniel Arimon I know that. I got to know the 9th symphony through Clockwork Orange, because it was Alex favourite piece, in 2003, when I was 17. That was the first CD I bought with Beeethoven - And yeah, likes Dareru Piano says. It is the 3rd movement of the moonlight sonata :)
Hello unbelievable George. Because of your beautiful Piano music I admit that I have got addicted to all those astounding masterpieces which your fantastic skills and talent bring to our ears. You enrich the lives of many poor people who have otherwise no access to these choice music pieces that your fantastic parents have to be highly credited to for both supporting and enabling your special talent to develop to what you are today, I also thank them for doing all the recordings and all that trouble been taken to insert them here online for all of us who can appreciate and enjoy this music. You yourself have to be very thankful to Our Creator for the special memory, concentration and the possibilities that you were bestowed with in the family you were born into in your childhood. I wish you much enjoyment, prosperity and good health throughout your life with your special bestowment. Blessings to you always young man.
Amazing! Just came across George, he is and was amazing. For those that disliked this video, I hope you dislike it because you don't like the music and not because of this amazing, talented boy!
Clearly you have never heard Lang Lang or Yuja Wang, both Chinese prodigies who play at all the world class venues with world class orchestras or give recitals at Carnegie Hall and the like.
I feel like I'm the only Asian here, because I'm the only one who isn't offended at this harmless generalization. It's a truth of musicianship that Asian children are not taught to play with emotion. And this comment is correct
Whoever can play Beethoven's Moonlight 3rd movement like this, can play most Richard Clayderman's songs with his eyes closed, and his body upside down. This video is about showing the boy's amazing talent.
It's 2016 now and you should be about 15 years old George, I hope the RCM is in your plans in the near future. There''s hundreds of clips of talented kids playing instruments here, to me you look and sound like a true prodigy with that incredible musicality and passion in your playing.Happy new year!
+Antti Koivisto Go to his YT channel and you'll see his latest video, 'George Harliono Tchaikovsky Concerto No.1 Closing Gala'. The piano is slightly smarter!!
This was fantastic, George. Beethoven would have been pleased to hear you do his piece justice. Next time I'd like to hear it on a baby grand. Regarding the hayfever-I've heard that battered sausage, chips and coke helps this condition.
I can tell you something: It's not easy to play, much more difficult than the 1st movement; I wonder how many times he repeated it before being able to play it that way!
Will you all please stop calling him a kid - which is a young goat ..George is a child prodigy and ENGLISH. Have you followed his career.? He is brilliant. Our own Lang Lang.if not better .
А он мятежной просит бури...Как будто в буре есть покой....😊 Георгу нужны были слушатели...Ему нужно было отдавать энергию, которая жила в нём( ею безусловно наделил его Создатель)и била через край...
Wonderful young pianist now.Playing with the best orchestras and the biggest auditoriums in the world.Well done.
Awesome piano performance, 🎹 😍 ♥️

He's a pro now, George Harliono.
Hes 18 now and is a professional.
George is now about 18, and has his beautiful concerts..buts it's still amazing to see him so young here with so much talent!!
Very very very very impressed! At his age already playing such a demanding piece, and doing it so well! WOW! No surprise lots of people stayed, I would definitely have listened to him too.
I was rubbing my eyes, because of my hay fever. My eyes were very itchy.
tu es incroyable ! :))
From your this motion,I know you are real😂😂😂
Your a sweetie pie in this video 🥰🎶🎹

Another impressive performance by George. This is MUSIC!!! And the people all over around were so lucky to see this!
Some idiots keep talking through it. You'ld think they might have enough decency and respect to shut up while he's playing.
Wow! Wow! Awesome piano performance.
For being so young and to be able to play the piano , with a crowd amazed by this kid .
All from memory no music some people are gifted he is a prodigy a young piano genius. The crowd is very respectful and shows manners
OMG this kid is beyond amazing!
Its not the kid. Its George Harliono.
definitivamente uno puede estar viendo a este chico tocar el piano todo el día , un deleite para los oídos
There are not many child pianists that attempt this mov't. of this Sonata. This kid played great.
Yes, and even the 1st movement which is yet easier to play.
He plays better than most adult pianists.
@@zuesincoming676 no he doesn't idiot
@@owencrawford5984 No need for name calling. Can you play it better?
@Elijah Kim 김기성 I hadn't heard an adult play it better yet.
I don't know nothing about piano but look at those fingers, mine hurt just to wash dishes. 😔 Sounds beautiful.
Браво!Мы очень восхищены . Желаем дальнейших успехов в музыкальном творчестве.

George! Another stunning performance! This just happens to be one of my favourites❣️
Lady at 4:10 with the baby: See, u'd better be as good as him or i"ll put u up for adoption..
I so much more enjoy the spectacle of hearing the young George play rather than now that he is a young adult where he is just one of many with talent.
Amazing playing. For those wondering, this is Moonlight Sonata 3rd movement by L.V. Beethoven.

This is just so beautiful and inspiring. I am sure Beethoven himself would love to have been there!
So natural piano play. Look at 2:44 ! :-) Admirable performance by this gifted boy.
this kid is beyond talented.
This little guy is actually really good. Normally the young asian kids can bash it out but not with the right feeling/tempo/precision.
wow. biased much?
this guy isnt very precise either, and i see musicians by their skill, not race or ethnic group.
