Growing up I new nothing about music other than I liked to listen to it I couldn't play a radio without static. Now that I'm an old man looking back there really isn't anything I'd change about my life. Watching Dr K does make me wish I would have been interested in the piano because he has so much fun. They're really nice in helping a man out with the piano and then it becomes clear that he knows how to play :) Everyone's having a great time, including those sitting about in or walking through St Pancras Station (pretty certain that's the piano by the Eurostar exit).

Btw: the piece at the beginning was a church music from J S Bach which is supposed to be played on a huge church organ, the bigger the better. If you hear it from cd or on YT via headphone or a strong HiFi speaker system it will give you goose bumps all over. You don't need to be religious for that. I once heard it some 40 years ago beeing played on the organ in the "Freiburger Münster", a cathedral in southern Germany. I was totally overwhelmed by the music and especially by the sound of the organ in that church..!

He makes a joke of his academic credentials (Dr K) though he actually has a PhD - but he truly is mentor and professor to hundreds of young (and not so young) musicians. It seems to me he never "tricks" anyone in a way that makes them feel bad about themselves. If anything, he embodies the "trickster" in mythology that gets people to perform at a level beyond what they would have thought possible. Well done.
