I recently bought one and love it. It gets a lot of looks - possibly favourable and non favourable due to the grille! Mine's standard but I had it dyno'd and it showed 404BHP.
Thank you for being the first reviewer original enough to not feel they needed to pander to the “I hate the new grill but) crowd. Hope you enjoyed that last road trip you were headed to. BTW, I liked and subscribed, cheers from California.
This colour suits the 440 so well.. For me BMW does always the thing with the interiors, driver focused so you never have to search for a button, their ergonomics are top notch. Most memorable roadtrip I've done was to pick up my husband from the North rim of the GrandCanyon, He crossed the canyon on foot which is about 38km, I had to drive +300km to pick him up :D The majestic clouds at twilight.. beyond real !!
I own this vehicle. It is my 8th BMW and is absolutely my favorite! This is a beautiful, sexy, performance vehicle! It is also so luxurious. It is truly the perfect performance BMW!!!!
I have the 440i and I feel the same about driving this car as you. I get a lot of joy driving it... And pure amazement when I let it park itself! I would love to drive it to Croatia and possibly not the direct route.
I absolutely like how the designer balanced “stylish” and “expressive”! I know you said UK, but I think it’s the ideal car for a grand tour through Europe.
I've been watching your videos for a few hours now and I just wanted to say that I think you're so cool! Seeing both your journey and your channel grow so much is amazing and honestly, it was inspirational to me as well.
Yorkshire Moors is a sensible drive from where you are. Scotland has some awesome roads so I am told. If you bring it up to Yorkshire drop me a line and I'll take you for a spin in the Cessna 120.
Hi Charlie well with that car I would drive cross country from Swindon to Weymouth via Blanford then back up to Yeovil and down the 303 to Taunton then home is just good to be on the road drive safe and love your Channel keep it up xx
What an outstanding video! Your screen presence is remarkable and knowing your racing pedigree, I would be inclined to go up into the Peak District and drive the Strines, the Snake Pass and Woodhead pass and up onto Holme Point. From there I’d go into the Dales from Pateley Bridge to the Tan Hill Inn. Enough content for another video on those roads! Let me know if you want a co pilot 👊🏿
NC500 or Snow Roads route in Scotland. Former better for scenery, but busy, and slow latter is a better bet for enjoying the actual driving! Swing past Stirling and say 'Hi' on your way - Don't think I would have gone on my own journey if it had not been for your channel!
Knowing that one of your all-time favorite movies is Top Gun, and that you once wanted to be a fighter pilot, I think a great road trip for a day would be to the Mach Loop in Wales.
Obviously your a girl and I know plenty of other girls for whom heels are a life saver (for me they are a nose breaker, thank god for five fingers), but you look tiny in that car. How big is it?? For ref I drive a 2004 B5.5 all red TDI Passat estate which I just about squeeze my bum into. Also if your interested in car design you should nip over To Coventry University when your visiting family as they are home for UK car design

There’s one near me in purple and it’s absolutely amazing. I think it will remain a timeless design and very few cars can achieve this.
Nice review.. The colour of the car matched the water looked stunning. 👌
I have one. I love the grill.

This is a gorgeous car! I have an X4, and the interior is very similar, but it doesn't go as well as this thing!
