If you don't expect your President to be a role model, don't criticize an athlete for just wanting to be himself. Jordan was very unique and very strong willed, wouldn't be sold out by anyone or be fake to be popular. His Airness, the GOAT!
Its remarkable how much a professional basketball player that I have never met, has been so influential to me and my existence on earth. No joke I was really shy, and had low self esteem as a child and I looked at MJ how he carried himself and I just pretended I was like him and overtime I grew into my own kind of confidence, and self worth. Im sure there are others. Again hes a professional basketball player...thats a fucking incredible impact on humanity
I have my pops for 40 years of my life and I got to enjoy all six of these championships and go through every rally with him. They called him hulk Hogan. Thank you Michael for all the memories❤
He really does! I believe it was hist DESTINY TO BE BASKETBALL ICON MICHAEL JORAN. In Hebrew his name literally means : ONE LIKE GOD WHO HAS DESCENDED. That is what th name Michel Jordan means in HEBREW. I remember folks used to call him a basketball god; in fact, Larry Bird said he thought Michael was GOD DISGUISED AS MICHAEL JORDAN. That says it all. Shabbat shalom.
What's makes him so different is his competitive drive, that's why I say not even Kobe or LeBron were going to be able to stop him, he is one of a kind, that we will probably never see again
February 17,1963 indeed was special guy is that in more ways than one. I sympathize losing his dad,I'm glad he showed up at Kobe and Gianna Bryant Memorial last month pay tribute.
I really wonder how many people (outside the media) actually cared AT ALL about the fact that Michael gambled what for him is a minimal amount of money. Saying his image was tarnished makes for a more compelling headline, but I doubt it reflected reality.
Why in the world did this man have to account for how he spent his money he was beat down in almost all of life in one way or another because he was so gifted on the court with that wife of his his team mates the Bulls owner I will always love and respect him no matter what he gave his all and in 2020 he is still being hated on he suffered but held on quitting was not an option
I was the biggest mj fan growing up and my dad got us tickets to 1 of his games months in advance and like 2 weeks before the game he retired to play baseball 😞
How he wasn't compared to Michael Jackson in popularity is beyond me. Just goes to show you that the media can make you or break you as popular as Michael Jordan was Michael Jackson will always remain the king of Pop and the most known celebrity in the world.
Yeah, I agree so much with you! And why didn't they tell in this documentary about him, that he was also featured in the video clip 'Jam' from the world most famous icon: Michael Jackson??
I think any one of us in his position would have failed dramatically, mid-air. Tranquility is often overlooked over fame, frenzied "love", excess wealth and the confidence it grants. We are granted that. You only need 1 blessing to succeed it seems, The Most Generous always adds onto it.
@@lucienberl but he didn’t gamble on his own NBA games. No one serious even suspected him of such and there was certainly never any evidence of such, So why even suggest it?
@@baberina1 he never asked to be a role model. He just lived his life, dedicated himself to be the best athlete he could possibly be. It’s a life that has a lot of pressure, so if the man enjoyed gambling on his golf or card games, who on earth would deny him that pleasure?
it is really odd and ironic that jordan had the best style in terms of bball outfit/fashion/influence on sneakers in the history of nba. but when he got old his 'fashion sense' is arguably one of the worst out there :). those loose fit jeans and lofters/airjordan+ nike teeare pretty bad combos
MJ's post-playing career 'fashion' choices have certainly been hit or miss! You've nailed it, though, re his influence and style during his playing days.
Legend has it he always wears sweat pants under those jeans because he's always ready strip the jeans off and take on any basketball challenge presented.
Early in MJ's career and when his was in the lime light knight and day. He was fashion forward because he was the face of the NBA and possibly had a stylist. Now he just dont care cause he trying to just enjoy his life and could care less what people think. He has nothing to prove. Hell when I was younger I was fashion forward but I don't give a dame no more either. But when you young you want to he fashion forward cause it's fun.
lol they talk about his batting average in baseball & he was an average player but not how he became a better player & his average went up & how he would of continued into baseball as they wanted him in the majors but then the strike happened !! classic bullshit media anyway thank god for that baseball strike !!

Everything about his life is just amazingly rare, he has truly lived a unique life.

Mj changed after 93. The media changed him.
To lose a parent, people forgot he is also human.
Some of the media's jealousy of the athletes they cover is borderline hateful at times
I agree. He became jaded after trying to be this perfect image for everyone only for the media to turn on him and it started with Sam Smith.
I just love this guy been following him since high school day. Just knew he would have been great.
@@GALLEN-vf7uy you are right. they always put him on a pedestal for everything esp other than basketball

MJ will always be the man.
This was awesome Adam. Never seen it. Thank you for the upload and share.
I'm pleased you enjoyed it, Marv! I've had this on DVD for almost 10 years, mate. I was surprised it didn't seem to already be online.
Imagine being Micheal Jordan, what a crazy ass life
You gotta be just a little crazy to handle that level of fame

kobe, AI, and allen are all MJ fanatics
Watching the Bulls 93-95 was different. It was still fun, but the magic went out of it when MJ left.
I was the biggest mj fan growing up and my dad got us tickets to 1 of his games months in advance and like 2 weeks before the game he retired to play baseball 😞
Thanks for the upload Adam, I enjoyed it very much.
You're welcome, mate.

So what if Jordan gamble he earned that money
If he gambled on his own games thats not legal. Or on the NBA for that matter. Other sports is fine.
I agree... But it doesn't look good for a role model.

Wow. MJ's legal team seemed RUTHLESS like they were riding their money train and wouldn't let go.

Laimbeer, Thomas Dumars, Aguirre.
They are jealous of MJ success
Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing, Brian Russell and Reggie Miller. Lmfao 🤫
