I couldn't remember the name of this game for THE LONGEST time. I just typed in Saturn fighting games and sure enough, this popped up. Thank you. I spent so many hours playing this as a kid. What a legend of a game.
A terrific fighting game, a flashier and trashier Virtua Fighter that’s also a lot easier to get into. It was a hit in the arcades and totally rocks on Saturn. Get the JP version so you can play Pepsiman.
Also, unlike the original arcade version of Fighting Vipers, this has Hyper mode, which also gives you the ability to move three dimensionally via side dodge.

Okay, this is cool. I'm a major Saturn geek and I didn't know this existed, so thanks a ton for uploading! One question though: your armour never so much as flashed throughout the playthrough, is Pepsiman's armour just unbreakable?
Sadly not. Sonic is only in the arcade version while pepsi man is only in the saturn version. At least we can make the hornet fight bean in fighters megamix

I wanted to emulate the game just for Pepsiman (And Honey, I like her), but since Saturn emulators are trash I decided to buy the PSN release. And I am sad cuz I don't have Pepsiman.
the design of the characters are horrible, it seems that they did over the virtua fighter, disappointed with developers who haven't fully tapped into the console's potential
