Follow-up film to Babes in Arms sees Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland crying "Say Kids, let's put on a show!" in service to an imperiled orphanage. The duo and their friends stage a benefit, which includes a hilarious send-up of the biggest musical stars of the time, and their performances lead to success, fame and fortune in New York. Rooney's Carmen Miranda is not to be missed. Directed by Busby Berkeley.

2 of hollywood's greatest entertainers, there will never be another mickey and judy
Its so unfortunate that such a beautiful woman and singer had to pass away so early in her life, but we still have memories of her on film❤❤❤
I just love her voice
Mickey was so full of energy
I love this part of the movie, especially this number. When Judy comes in it’s perfection!! It’s so sentimental for me I don’t even know why ugh I love them
OMG! I love them! RIP Mickey and Judy, you both were so wonderful
I agree!!!! Smiling through tears. So Wonderful. (I remember as a child watching Judy and loving her. So special.) PEACE to ALL ... and STAY SAFE and HEALTHY.
This musical number is perfect! This is pure movie magic!
They don't call it the Golden Era for nothing 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯❤❤❤❤❤
You can see in Mickey's performances that he was really into doing a good job for himself and the studio. A great work ethic from a very young age. Instilled into him by his family.
A+ Entertaiment! That's what i called a real movie
They are so talented 😢😢❤️
And did anyone notice how tall her heels were????
I like this almost as much as Jimmy Cagney's performance of it in Yankee Doodle Dandy.
How I wish Judy would have been loaned to Warners so that she could appear in Yankee Doodle Dandy with Cagney. Think about Judy in Frances Langford's spot singing over there
It's sad how Micky had to live 45 years without Judy
You got to admit Micky was handsome when he was younger
Im making judys costume
Ike bought me here
Mickey Rooney was very talented BUT.... Has no business singing next to Judy. When she comes in at 0:35 it's like going from a Hyundai to a Ferrari . WOW. !!!! . She was great.
They were great together. Imo God bless
He was great in every single way, but you said it. It isn’t a put down of him, it’s just she is that phenomenal. I’m not sure anyone could stand next to her that wasn’t classically trained and had a true mastery over their voice. I personally think she had the greatest voice in show business history. Hands down.
And her looks here? How anyone could deny her beauty is beyond me!
Long Gray Line Agreed
When she was on stage or in a scene in any movie, no one ever even noticed anyone else. She was magic!
Talk of gerbils
I came from Barney
who came from Full House?
It’s a shame that RUclips removed the ending for this movie simply because it had blackface in it.
FDR Jones is on RUclips
Not really a shame for the blackface like it was in Babes in Arms was unnecessary.
The black face indeed was unnecessary and I agree with the notion that perhaps the reason why Shirley Temple passed on appearing in this film was how it would offended Bojangles
It's looks like going good for documentary about biography book club fun more information about money made into store story about how much money does history channel VIP tickets tour New oasr awesome picture awards TCM hollywood
WAKE UP Warner Archive! When are we getting "Babes On Broadway" and "Babes In Arms" on BluRay. Stop being so WOKE. We, the fans, WANT the movies!! (Just stick a disclaimer on the Bluray Case for the WOKE brigade)
I came from South Park.
