I appreciate your honesty, it's one of the reasons I like you. I'd had a mind blank when I was making my request and because I'd come across it recently and it had that Lorna Shore sound so I thought I'd get your opinion on them.
I disagree with the melody comment, but only because I found a melody in the "discordant" riffs that was pleasing to my ears.
Yes this one ended abruptly I agree it could have been different but I do also enjoy the shorter format of the song because sometimes, for me, 7 min+ songs in this format can get a bit much for me.
In my opinion, in this space, recent Lorna Shore is incomparable. They are on another level that few will be able to get to, let alone surpass.

They certainly have potential, I may be becoming more cynical in my older age lol ❤️
currents is a metalcore band that has amazing grooves and probably the best harmonies and leads in the scene
If only they'd held up the release of Spineless for a day. The song before, "Unhinged", is her singing by herself.

Errr... they aren't a copy of Lorna is any sense, except the most superficial one...and the song has a perfecly round ending. Not your brightest moment, mate :D
And I see you double down in the 2º... shees, I just hope every band from now on follows the guidelines in how to end a deathcore song... I didn't even know they existed, but given your reaction, they must be carved in stone somewhere...lol
