I just came across your channel tonight after 3 years of watching mostly resin videos! I see you put up 1 video a month, +/-. That’s ok, I’ll enjoy when you do. This bowl is one of the coolest I’ve seen anyone do! Your are so talented! So, thank you! Y from USA
Thanks so much for all your videos. So interesting that you try various processes. I see you are nearing 1000 videos. You have contributed so much to art teaching. Excellent job. Congratulations!!
Lovely Annemarie, as always. You were my inspiration for getting started with acrylic pouring. Now, I am looking at getting into resin art. Thanks for sharing your art.
Oh, I LOVE your bowl!!! My dad used to make oliebollen at Christmastime... Interesting and easy way to create a mold! The bowl definitely turned out neat! Great bowl for seaside treasures!!!
So great to see you again! It seems so many years ago watching your first video. You have been the inspiration so many people and your fellow you tube pouring artists. Hope you are well💕
I’m so happy that you are back!!....The bowl is beautiful. I never would have thought to create the mold that way. As always thanks for sharing Annemarie!😊👍..... Hopefully you will get to your island place soon!!
This is just so lovely! I so enjoy watching you create. Makes my heart happy 🥰 I wish I could try something like this, but I backed off of using resin after I developed a chronic sinus infection , gosh darn it. But it's great to see you share your resin masterpieces with us! And yep, after all this time, I am still chair dancing to your opening jingle 😄💕
I’m confused now I thought that you use the torch to remove the bubbles you are using it to move the colors I don’t understand now should I buy a Tory or a heat gun
Such a beautiful ocean 🌊 bowl! Love the instruction. Thank you! There’s this show I like on Netflix called “Sugar Rush” which led to this one time episode called “Sugar High.” On “Sugar High” it’s sugar artists and the winners made this huge blue flower. Im thinking of doing it in resin... If you get that on your Netflix let me know what you think 💭 💙 Steph
both questions answered in the video... 500 ml resin , the plastc is the type they use to transport stuff...50 cm wide and there is usually 300 meters on a rol. I have used clingwrap and that works fine too. ♥♥♥
Your stuff is so pretty! I'm sure you've gone over this before, but how do you calculate how much resin to mix? I do okay with tumblers, but for a bowl like this, I have no clue!
When you can you fill the mold with water and measure the water... with this type of mold you can`t so I make a little more than I think I need...also adding more beads after its poured will up the volume. ♥♥♥ ♥ Thank you for watching ♥
What a joy it is listening to/watching you. I feel like you’re a friend just showing me how to do a craft in my garage.
hahaha ♥♥♥ Thank you so much ♥♥♥

Can you make a bowl type hurricane lamp from resin. I have two beautiful lamps, and both of the glass shades are broke on them.
sure you can ! go for it ♥♥♥
Oh I luv it 💙🩵💙
👋Classe ....👍🏻💙🐋🐚💚🐟🐚
♥ Thank you for watching ♥
Love it...Beautiful!
♥♥♥ Thank you so much ♥♥♥
how about using pie crust beads to add the weight in the center while forming it.
I don`t think they are heavy enough...it might work if you don`t let it cure that long then it`s more flexible. ♥♥♥
Would a somewhat fine gravel or those glass deco beads or pie weights maybe help with keeping the resin pour pressed down into the mold?
I think slumping it 30 minutes earlier would have been better. I don`t think gravel is heavy enough...I would slump it faster, Thank you♥♥♥
Thankyou for sharing this gotta try it myself. Where is the island
Ameland it`s an island just of the coast of Holland...♥♥♥ ♥♥♥ Thank you and thank you for watching ♥♥♥
Bonjour, je suis française, combien de temps attendez vous avant de mettre dans le récipient, c est magnifique 👍😻
♥ Thank you for watching ♥
Can you make a bowl in the shape of a round hurricane resin lampshade?
Yes... Just figure out the mold....how to get the form. ♥♥♥
I’m confused now I thought that you use the torch to remove the bubbles you are using it to move the colors I don’t understand now should I buy a Tory or a heat gun
You answered your own question….a torch removes the bubbles…a heat gun blows air so it moves the resin.

Such a beautiful ocean 🌊 bowl! Love the instruction. Thank you!

I checked we don`t have that yet....I will keep a look out for that show....♥♥♥
Thanks for checking. I know you’d enjoy the process & results.
❤️❤️❤️😊
This may have been asked but is this beautiful piece food safe?
It is...but I wouldn`t put food on it...I am funny that way ♥♥♥
What type of colours should be used with epoxy, for transparent effect
mica... like primary elements....♥
@@annemarieridderhof ty mam..i m from india here these items reach very expensive.
I am suspicious to praise. Your works are beautiful. I want to know how much resin you used in this work and the type of plastic you used too. Big hug
both questions answered in the video... 500 ml resin , the plastc is the type they use to transport stuff...50 cm wide and there is usually 300 meters on a rol. I have used clingwrap and that works fine too. ♥♥♥
Hi Annemarie. This bowl looks so cute. One question, is it foodsafe? So it could be used as a fruitbowl.
no ..resin isn`t food safe...no matter what people say it really isn`t. ♥♥♥
@@annemarieridderhof Ty for your honest answer.
Loved seeing this process! I’m so inspired. I wonder if you could do this and use it for a birdbath?
Yes that would work but I wouls make it a little biger and slump the resin over the rin so the birds can sit on it....♥♥♥
If you can say how much time you allowed to cure before you given a shape to it.
depends on the type of resin... 2- 8 hours....you will feel it , keep checking every 15 min.
What stops from getting fingerprints on the piece?
I don`t know...havent had any problems with fingerprints...♥♥♥
