- Hey everyone, this is a bit of a different video for me as i share the time i got sick on a flight attendant layover in launcestan. I lost my voice and my doctor didn't give me clearance to fly home so i had to spend an extra couple of days recovering. i hope you enjoy this video, also let me know if you like this AMSR style of video xx

Not sure if anyone can produce a better sick-on-a-layover video than you. The sights and sounds of the critters, the music (once again, gets me in the feels), the ASMR vibes (yes LOVE that too)...all added up to a blissful watching experience. I am so sorry you fell ill, and for the tearful moments. Glad you extra food to tide you over. Oh, I also have issues with tablet swallowing, especially those where the coating isn't that smooth. I am delighted you're home and feeling better.
Aww thanks Scott! So glad you liked it! This was a very different video to what I usually do so was really fun being creative! Tablet swallowing is the worst hey!

Great video glad you are getting better, I recently got COVID after a 20 day trip lucky I was going on OFF days but it was horrible. Self care is very important if don’t take care of ourselves we can’t take care of others ❤
I have had the SARS-CoV-2 twice but luckily for me both times I was not too bad, battled the first infection for a week the sore throat was awful but I kept it down with throat soothers and pain killers but my second infection only had 1 bad day.
@@pcorf thank you for sharing. I never get sick usually I would have seasonal allergies. For the first 2 years of COVID I was around tons of people with it and was negative. Eventually I knew I would get it no one is that lucky. The sore throat and coughing was the worst. All I took was ibuprofen & drank water. Stay healthy and safe 🤍

I didn’t know there was one either!! But saw something that said “ask reception for walking trails” so I did and they gave me that! Was such a nice walk, would definitely recommend it! Would love to try the golf there one day!

Sorry to hear this happened to you. I hope that you are feeling much better. I'm glad you didn't get Covid which would have extended your layover for another week. What a bummer being sick and stuck in a hotel room by yourself. Looks like you had plenty of food. I enjoy this type of video especially the music like being in a spa. Are wallabies friendlier than kangaroos?
Yeah I believe they are friendlier, they are much smaller and don’t have big of legs haha!! They are so cute aren’t they!
Was it Covid? You poor thing, it’s so hard to be sick and not be able to get home. I got really sick in Greece once and had to go to hospital. Very little English spoken and I was so scared all the time. All I wanted was to be in Melbourne. Home is the greatest comfort when you need it. I wonder what the percentage is of flight crew who soldier on and infect a whole load of passengers rather than take one for the team is. I admire you, your bore this with grace and patience. Hope you feel better soon. Thanks for sharing when it was probably the last thing you felt like doing.

Blah, so glad it wasn't covid! My parents just told me today they now have it for the 1st time (I'm still novid!) but yeah, it's hard being away from home & sick. What would have happened if you did test positive? Would the airline pay to keep you in Launnie for a couple of weeks? Loved the ASMIR of the vid- my absolute favourite sound is the early morning warbling of the currawongs, I desperately missed hearing them when I lived in China!

Did you bring all that food with you or did someone get you some groceries. Did the airline just extend your reservation for the hotel?
A friend dropped them off! Yes they extended my hotel stay
