So happy for you both! With my first pregnancy, my Dr said something that helped me so much. He said “ everyone will have advice for you but the only advice you should listen to is this. Each pregnancy is special and unique. Smile and nod then do what is right for you and your pregnancy”. How right he was as my two pregnancy’s were different as night and day. Continue to take care of yourself and follow your instincts.

Also small tip! In your third trimester read about how to care about baby during first 6 month. Read a lot about breeding (this can be hard for new moms sometimes) + sleep schedule for babies by month and how and how often to bath your baby. Like I thought I will catch out all this info when I have baby, but I was too tired to do so and it was really stressful for me because I like to be prepared for things. So this was a big miss for me. I feel that I put myself into unnecessarily stress that time😅

    Hey Brieana ☺️
I stumbled upon your vlogs awhile ago and I just wanted to say I’m really really enjoying them. It’s wonderful to get an insight into a flight attendants life in the air as it were. Plus it’s going to be so interesting to hear how it is being a flight attendant and being pregnant.
I have a couple of questions.
So I’m taking a big trip internationally on my own for the first time. (I’ve done the journey with friends previously)
I get really bad anxiety and can panic if I feel like I’m being rushed. I just wondered what your top tips were for solo travel when you have anxiety and how to go about it etc.
Hope you and bump are well and sending you lots of love from across the planet (I’m UK based) ☺️💛

Hi brie I'm from Wollongong nsw Australia and love your channel.
I was wondering how many weeks pregnant can you fly before your unable.
And just to let you know I was 16 years old when I had my only child a daughter, I was 5 months pregnant when I was brave enough to tell my parents and all my mum said was I I'm lucky there a girls out there on goodness knows what. In this vlog I think you said you were 13 weeks pregnant I looked that big at 42 weeks I was so lucky as I was in year 10 at school trying to hide it. I'm now 49 years old now with to beautiful granddaughters 5 and 7 years old.
Congratulations again to you and Braden keep safe look after yourself. ❤❤

I have a question Brie, the company have advantages for FA at your condition?. When I was cabin crew I don't remember asking my friends if they could change things around it. I imagine with common sense that the company will be very supportive. Again Brie, I'm very happy for both of you!!! Bye!!!

Hey Brie, love your flight attendant vlogs! I definitely can relate to fatigue and brushing my teeth making my nausea worse during my pregnancy too.
My question is- I have heard that airlines monitor and limit your flying time when you are pregnant if you are a flight attendant, pilot etc. to reduce the radiation risk to the baby. What has your experience been like with this?

For pregency, will you receive special treatment at security check? Will you ask for hand pat down Instead of going through body scanner Or metal detector? Do you need to remove shoes? Last time my wife asked to opt out and get pat down, they did a thorough search and asked her to stand in barefoot with socks, shoes needs to to through xray

    • @BrieanaYoung
      @BrieanaYoung  4 месяца назад

Great question- All body scanners in Australia use non-ionising millimetre-wave technology. This means they do not emit ionising radiation like that of x-rays.
The low intensity waves and short duration of the scan means you are exposed to less energy than other common everyday devices such as mobile phones. The millimetre-waves are reflected off the surface of the skin and do not penetrate the body.
There are no known health risks from undergoing a scan so travellers who have a medical condition or are pregnant should not be concerned.

    • @abcred6753
