Great video! This is something I got into in the middle of 2023 and going to fully pursue it this year instead of just RE photo/video, plus I enjoy it a lot more! I've currently been doing a monthly retainer for some local realtors for "branding videos," but I like the idea of gearing it more towards social media content creation like you do. Can you advise on how to charge for a monthly retainer??? I swear the hardest part about all of this is knowing how to price it.

This is a great idea that I've been toying around with for a little while. I have another marketing business doing SMA/lead generation for realtors, but hadn't tied in social media posting & creating custom videos for that yet. Do you have any information about how you price this? It sounds like you have at least two levels?

Love this!! I tried my hand at being a realtor (after being a real estate marketer for almost 20 years) and created some of my own talking head videos. With some pretty simple research, I was able to rank my videos (and blog posts) in the top 3 spaces of Google and the #1 space on RUclips. So, with this arsenal in addition to just doing the filming, I think I could be a unicorn. 😅 my problem is not short-changing myself. Without the SEO and blog components (which can simply be a voice transcript of the video), what would you charge for a monthly retainer? I envision creating a long form video (maybe 8 minutes) and then a few photos along with a Reel - totaling 4 pieces of content per month.

We charge by the hour! You can do any kind of content within that hour. It could be a bunch of short reels or a full length podcast episode.

How do you monitor the market? I used to be on a team and had MLS access, but since becoming independent I find it hard to find the stats I really found useful. Great Video!
