@lilyspeaker I personally prefer make-up when the cheeks and lips have a base tone that ties them together. I find that when the cheeks and lips are miles apart (eg blue pink lips and orangey brown blush for example) all the chic ness and polish is compromised. It doesnt have to be completely matchy matchy but at the same time I dont believe they should clash dramatically x
Dear Lisa, before my wedding I watched lots of your videos and felt that with your guidance (and some practice) I was confident enough to do my own makeup. I don't wear lots of makeup normally and wanted to look myself but still special. I had lots of compliments, and I would just like to pass them on. It can be a intense time and it was wonderful to not have to worry about my makeup having used the products and techniques that you had recommended. Thank you
I wanted to sincerely thank you for these tutorials. I would consider myself a novice but was assigned the duty of doing my friend (the bride's) makeup. Thanks to you, Lisa Eldridge (and my friend's natural beauty), she looked spectacular. As we had monetary limitations, I used more high street products but even so, it looked very natural and didn't budge for over 12 hours. So much gratitude sent your way - you are a true talent!
This is beautiful Lisa❤ I love watching your older videos. You haven’t changed at all. Your voice is still so calming and you’re still as beautiful as you were 13 years ago. I really enjoyed the very close up parts of you applying the eye makeup! You really are the Queen of makeup ❤
I just adore your professional tutorials. I don't know if you're going to understand what I'm saying, but you are one of the few professional makeup artists on youtube who truly isn't afraid to share your techniques properly. There are so many professionals who won't allow us to see what they're doing and even what products they're using. And it's soooo obvious! They use "tricks" like unsteady camera use and distracting us by focusing on something else. You truly share, so thank you, Lisa x
@anchyli I'd be tempted to do a neutrally toned, classic make-up and add a red lip...if that suits your personality and style of course...could be fabulous! X
My best friend was just married this past January, and she NEVER wears makeup (literally not a stitch of makeup on a day-to-day basis). She was so nervous about getting hers done on the big day, but the makeup artist we chose, based on rave reviews from other brides, did a look just like this, and she was STUNNING. Honestly this look is gorgeous, thank you for sharing Lisa, as always! x
@kbabette1 I havent tried the illamasqua one but I tried the top shop one and its very good. What I would suggest is...apply your foundation then apply a good cream blush in a thin layer on top. After concealing set everything with a fine layer of powder and then once you have finish your make-up apply a dusting of powder blush over the top. Lots of thin layers help make-up last so this technique of multi layering works well. x
Hi lisa, i'm hooked on your tutorials. I am getting married in 2 weeks time, i'm doing my own bridal makeup and have been swotting up on your video's. I have bought lots of new products on your recommendation and OMG what a difference! I have fair skin, blonde hair and green eyes and am planning a smokey mauve/purple eye to bring out my eyes and tie in with my wedding theme of lilac, navy and silver. I just wanted to say thank you soooo much, i would have been lost without your help. Julie x
@AlicelnWonderIand its my British Shorthair Kitten, Betty. She's a big make-up fan and hangs out in my studio a lot. Once she jumped up on the table when i was filming but I edited it out...maybe I'll leave it in next time she jumps up x
Hi Lisa-I was a bride 25 years ago and looking back at the pics, my makeup was on point for a modern bride of today! Strong brows, soft eyes, lips and cheeks in juicy peachy pink colors and even skin. The look I wanted--timeless. I wanted to tell you that your close up for applying the eyeliner was very helpful. please do more close ups so we can enjoy your technique all the more! Be well.
These (3) wedding tutorial vids are so helpful right now! I've used it to practice my own makeup this last month (I'm a bridesmaid), as well as given this vid to the Bride to help her find a professional makeup artist! Thank You!!
@merylynmagic I always use small powder brushes or larger ones that are very tapered into a kind of point because I like to be able to control where the powder goes. The huge splayed brushes put powder in your brows, lashes and other parts of the face you may not need it. I think better to control it x
I am getting married this up coming summer, and have found your videos sooo helpful. You are such a sweet and kind person and you have inspired me. Thank you so much :-)
I enjoyed watching this and had to comment... You speak about these up being natural and done so that it beatifies the natural beauty we have and I found that quite interesting as in the Asian/ Indian culture we overdo the makeup and glam up so much!! So much so that some brides don't even look like themselves on their wedding day!! Like they even didn't know they could look so different!! Xx lol
@JusBrowsin100 you could try Lift and Luminate by No7 or Lift Lumiere by Chanel. Both have enough reflection to give the skin dewiness and radiance but look good in photos x
Lisa, I know I've said it before, but let me say it again. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. I know that as a MUA just starting my career, I learn so much from your videos that can only be learned from other working artists. Your instruction is irreplaceable.
Love this makeup! I’m trying to pick up some ideas for my wedding, since I’ll be doing my own makeup... I’m a bit nervous about it... and Lisa explains everything so well makes me feel like I can do it without a problem! 💕
Hello dear Lisa, as usual anther useful lovely video, and the best thing I love about you is no matter how busy Lady you are but you always try your best to answer and reply to our question that's how make you more special than our other subscription. thanks again xx
Wow.. so natural and flawless makeup!! I'm also a makeup artist... Lisa you are so inspiring to me ... I love the way you do makeup .. thanks for spending time and sharing these videos !!
Just look at the colors she's using and you can find similar products from more affordable brands. It doesn't have to be exactly the same products, but if you want it to look like hers you just have to follow her technique.
So you are a beautiful, talented woman with the most soothing voice who also is a wonderful make-up artist, a phenomenal, eloquent teacher, a caring, creative and sharing person who also seems so very genuine and who also loves cats according to one of your lastest comments? I don't think I could adore you more! :) Thank you for another amazing video!
I"M hooked...excellent work... I'm so fired up about getting my business going again... after my child was diagnose with diabetes... I had to leave all that I love to attend to her...and now 2 years later...I'm so hungry to start again...how do I get this going again Lisa...I've lost my clientele...and need advise...if you have a minute ofcouse...blessed be and thanks for the tutorials.
Just wondering - where on earth can I get a hold of the Suqqu products?! I've been looking for an online shop that sells them around here and couldn't find one...
Hi Lisa!!! Well, what always trubles me about a make up look-not only on weddings- is 1.whether we should use one tone -warm or cold- on eyes, cheeks, lips or not. 2.If i use pink-colour blusher then i should use a pink-based lipstick or a peachy would be nicer? I have been confused because sometimes we hear that if we want to make our eyes to stand out then we can contrast the tones, but on the other hand i dont know if not matching the tones just makes it a little fuzzy..What do you suggest?
I love the colors you use for the eyes but yours are a beautiful brown and mine are blue (though I also have dark hair)...will those colors looks as well on me?
LOVE this look! But may ask why you chose a small brush to apply the loose/translucent powder? I have the regular largish powder brushes, can I use those instead? Thanks so much for this series (and all your videos), I learn so much from every video of yours!
Would you prefer the Clinique Airbrush Concealer/Corrector over the Bobbi Brown Corrector? Im currently using Bobbi Brown, love it but its rather clumpy
this is just beautiful and you make it look so easy. i was wondering if you still had your shellac nails and how they're wearing for you. thanks a lot.
Please Lisa! Can you recommend to me a good foundation for older skin (mid-50's) that's long-wear but has that dewiness that makes you look young? Or would the light reflection be too much of photos? Again this is for a mother of the bride look. Thanks again! I think you are so wonderfully talented and sweet to post all your videos to help everyone =) Much love!
This video made me ponder whether make up artists do their own makeup for their wedding day, or still get someone else to do it. Lisa, did you do your own makeup for your wedding day?
Beautiful! I also love your hair. :-) Would you consider doing a tutorial regarding your fav hair products, color, cut & style rec's? Thank you so much.
I have acne rosacea & understand your concern. I use Paula's Choice products they are affordable and high quality. Click on Shop by Concern then Rosacea & you will see a selection of products that are compatible. There is a primer & a redness relief treatment product. She has foundation too under her makeup section. I hope this is a help for you.
Hi Lisa, I am maid of honor for my friend in September, and she has run into a situation where she has nobody to do her makeup.. so she is putting it on me because I am so good at my own (I also happen to have a passion for makeup, however I am a nurse, not a MUA). She has very sensitive, almost rosacea-like skin, that is oily. What are your thoughts for a primer and/or setting spray? Any other tips you could offer? I am desperate and so stressed about this responsibility.
Hi lovely Lisa, thanks so much for all the videos. My favourite foundation is Chanel Pro Lumiere and wanted to use this at my wedding. However I find it comes off around the cheeks when I put powder blush on - even if use a primer and loose powder. Do you have any tips - would it be better to use a cream blush - is the Illamasqua cream blush worth all the hype. Thanks so much
Hi Lisa, did the bb pot rouge have a different packaging? i went to the website and i saw it comes in a compact instead, in very few colors. the pink truffle and calypso is'nt there either. or im just wrong? thanks xoxo
Hi Lisa, could you possibly suggest a few good loose powders for setting foundation? I have pretty oily skin especially on my T-zone and am currently using MAC Prep and Prime but am not at all happy with it. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you for all your amazing videos and I hope you'll keep making them for the forseable future. I have learnt SO much from you. Thanks!X
Hi Lisa! i love ur videos! i learn so much from you :) what is really great that u give us a lot of wearable, day looks without all that glitter and neon shades! i wanted to ask you: i have cool undertones (mid- light brown hair and brown eyes). so should i use make up with cool undertones or warm undertones??
@anchyli my cousin recently got married and with her red dress she chose a very light palette for her face, peachy lips and gorgeous light shade of green (which went with some green accents in her dress). I hate it when ppl wear red or dark bronze eye shadow and red blush and red lips. Thankfully the bridal makeup in pakistan is a lot more modern now and brides usually look pretty and not horrifying like they used to! give me hope for my wedding :p
@lisaeldridgedotcom i noticed u didnt do the contour.. so we dont need to contouring on wedding? i hv round face.. but i love this look. it looks clean, sweet n natural..
I'm getting married on October 28, 2012 I have dirty blonde hair, blue eyes and fair to medium skin. Would this look good on me for my wedding? I am doing the makeup myself and am a little worried about it :) Thanks!
Hey Lisa you're videos are wonderful! I love all of them. Unfortunately I always feel like I'm not able to wear brown on my eyes. I always look horrible when I used brown eyeshadow or eyeliner etc. :(
great look! i want to ask if you can also PLZ PLZ do an indian bridal makeup look in your series of bridal looks? as you must know the makeup in an indian wedding is much more and different from these neutral/light looks could you please do an indian wedding look to inspire me for my wedding soon thanks in advance

I've almost gotton that Kaska Beige palette so many times-- I got the Variations quad last time instead! Beautiful--loved this look! xoxo Lisa
oh my god i love your accent so much i could listen to you just talk and talk and talk all day!
Thank you for the video. You made my day! Very pretty, natural look!
At the beginning of the video I thought that WAS the look. Lisa is so pretty that she looks like that without makeup
Please write a book or host your own TV show! Loved watching you on TV and now RUclips! You rock!
Thank you so much for these tutorials. I just keep coming back to them. They will help me look like me only better on my wedding day!
Beautiful! It looks so pretty - perfect for a wedding!
Heavenly bridal look. Thank you Lisa.
I love your videos. The quality is always good - the explanation and the quality of the video itself!
I'm gonna use this as my everyday look. Its simple yet looks gorgeous!
Really can't help falling in love with your vids. Just gorgeous!
Could you please do an up-to-date version of the wedding makeup?
this was really similar to the make up I had on my day and four years on it still looks very in style! x
I absolutely loved your wedding video, thanks 😊

Absolutely beautiful makeup
Please recreate a detailed bridal look, long lasting and layered 😍😍 preferably on honey toned skin - all pink and bronze

lisa is so pretty the thumbnail looks like a painting

love your looks! Could you please do a winter wedding look? :)
I made a video about powder contouring a while ago, have a look X
Fabulous and informative as always Lisa. Thank you x
Lisa could you make a video talking about HD Make up? I know It's used a lot for weddings, but I don't know much about it. Thank you for your videos!
You are such a natural beauty..
stunning makeup and makeup artist!

That's perfect! I can so use this for dates too.
Probably gonna use this look for my prom since my dress is beige and black
I deeply regret having not followed this bridal makeup tutorial on my wedding day. Makes me sad.
Alyssa Gardner what happened on ur wedding day ? how did you look like ? what kind of makeup did you do ?
@veronicalee it turned out way too dark of eyeshadow. My fake lashes were also too long and too thick. I followed a pixiwoo bridal tutorial.
Hi lovely Lisa, thanks so much for all the videos. My favourite foundation is Chanel Pro Lumiere and wanted to use this at my wedding. So pretty. Just au naturale beautiful.
It would be so great if you did a updated bridal makeup with a foundation that is easier to find and readily available in more shades.
Hi Lisa, did the bb pot rouge have a different packaging? i went to the website and i saw it comes in a compact instead, in very few colors. the pink truffle and calypso is'nt there either. or im just wrong? thanks xoxo

i didnt realize that you had on foundation after the "cut" .. cant believe how great a colormatch that is for your skin :-)
Looks beautiful!
Hi Lisa, I know that Kaska Beige is unfortunately discontinued. You wouldn't have to know of any dupes for those colours?
Thanks!
gorgeous!
You look really beautiful Lisa!
Hey Lisa
you're videos are wonderful! I love all of them.
Unfortunately I always feel like I'm not able to wear brown on my eyes. I always look horrible when I used brown eyeshadow or eyeliner etc. :(
This is a beautiful look. Thank you x
Love this video...... the chanel Les 4 Ombres - Kaska is no longer available:( Is there one with the same colours under a different name? thx X
what do you think about airbrush make up on brides?
Thank you, Lisa. You are the best! I like this look; but, if I ever walk down the isle I need more drama!
Lovely Lovely Lovely!!
@lisaeldridgedotcom
