Wow! It's so inspiring to see young people appreciate some old school classics. I was in high school and college listening to Ambrosia. David Pack, the lead singer, instantly became one of my favorite vocalists.
This song is actually very heartbreaking if you listen to the lyrics….it’s about a serious misunderstanding and letting her know that he loves her enough to let her go if she can’t get past it even if it’s not true….and then moving on and reminding her of the deep relationship they once had.
Ambrosia is one of the very best 'soft rock' bands created. David Pack is the lead singer and I believe he also wrote their songs. And the other guys were great on their instruments but also could harmonize and keep their tone so that they blended perfectly with David's lead vocals. There is a video somewhere on here where they performed this song LIVE. I couldn't believe they sounded so perfect! And this was way before the 'auto tune' so many artists use today.
