Things you don't know about this video: this morning was the first time we've been outside IN TWO WEEEKS: Ed and I went to our local supermarket to prepare for NYC lockdown. We woke up mega early, and by 7.30am we were buying our groceries. We did our best not to panic-buy; it's easy to get scared when buying stuff! "Should we buy 2 or 3 milks?" "when is the next time we're buying stuff?" but I think it's SO IMPORTANT to think about others specially in times like these. More stuff you didn't know about this video: the cats are so happy we're at home 24/7; we're doing The Artist Way (the book), Ed is playing Overwatch like crazy and I'm planning to do a spring cleaning this weekend! Do you have plans for this weekend?
Your next video should be a “Let’s draw together!”, that would so great! 💕

How crazy that I'm sitting in my home in Portugal watching a video of someone so far away and we're both doing the same things for the same reasons. It's funny that a virus that makes everyone stay far from each other is making me feel so connected with everyone.

I agree with you about the difficulty of concentrating on creativity when there is soooo much going on around us. You’re definitely not alone.
The thing I'd love to see more of on your channel (and the thing you're already REALLY good at, better than anyone else I watch on youtube) is filming yourself doing things. Just quiet things around the house, or cleaning, or working, or drawing, or thinking. I love the quietness and the peaceful sounds in your room as you move about your day.

“It has been hard to function as a regular human being,” describes it spot-on! Many of us are trying to power through and be productive at home but it is hard for so many reasons, primarily that one! There is not a lot of “normal” or “regular” going on. I think it’s good to give ourselves some time to process... and then, hopefully, stop procrastinating and get back on track! 🤞I’m right there with you! (And feeling very grateful for the rule in the Bay Area allowing us to still go on walks and get sun! My heart goes out to you and Edd on that one.)

Hi Fran! Glad you are staying out of the way and thank you for always being a beacon of inspiration to us! Some ideas from me:
- A Q&A/all about Hamburgesa and Cereal - Their stories, preferences, how they interact with you and Ed, maybe some Q&A? Would be cute for them to be influencers for the days!
- I would really love to see you do another illustration based on a story or folktale like the Inktober (I think from 2016?? WHERE DID THE YEARS GO) or maybe you could do a Chilean story or legend that many of us have not heard of before and maybe could help to reconnect with Chile in these difficult times?
- Equally as above I also love your illustrations you've done based on paintings etc in museums, maybe something in that vein again could be fun?
- A tour of your work from home art supplies?
- A freelance related Q&A or some video related to freelancing topics?
But overall my and so many others ultimate ask would be for you to make a video that brings you joy and comfort to make, letting us share that with you would be a huge gift to us

This video was so nice!! I loved you packing orders with just dialogue on the screen and no music. Very relaxing. I’m (so thankful I’m) working from home as well.. anything where we can like, “do stuff together”, “work together”, that kind of thing would be lovely. Also, I know you have a productivity video, but maybe a video with tips addressing being productive when times are difficult? Thanks so much🥰

My desire to do anything productive has gone down to 5% since being sent home from work so I'd love to see another ASMR type of video from you. I always loved when you showed making breakfast/coffee, shots of the kitties, shots of you and Ed, etc. Anything calming. But of course I'd watch anything you post! Thanks for the company, Fran
Hello Fran! Your vlogs give me a calm moment.. I live in Italy and right now are 2 weeks that I'm at home. Government has restricted social meetings 3 times in the last days and it's necessary to save our people, but it's a stressfull moment cause we can just go outside for few metres.. anyway we'll go through this. Don't worry to much about food needs cause groceries will be open anyway! Have a nice day!!
