@Fran maneses thank you for showing us the places of Japan that aren't so touristy. I loved the little "shack" restaurant at the seaside town you went to and even though I am not a true vegan, as I do eat dairy, just not a huge meat eater, I am sure I would have found something to eat as I do love vegetables as well :-) I love stationery as well, and I am a lot older than you and I still have some cute little stationery items like a little pink, heart shaped eraser in a tiny plastic see through acrylic/plastic container that I had in late primary school/early high school and never used! *hehe* I used to say, "they are too cute to use" and I would just keep them to look at *hehe* I'm also sorry to hear Ed got sick as well whilst on your trip. Love all 3 pairs of glasses on you :-) Your pussycat at the end of the video - SOOooooo cute!!

First, both of the glasses look SO GOOD on you. So good. Second, I like that you show your acne because I have acne spots too and a lot of times I just can’t be bothered about putting on a full face of makeup even though I can get a little insecure in front of the camera or mirror so when you show yours it helps me feel more confident about my own. Really enjoyed your Tokyo vlogs and the way you and Ed keep it real. Believe it or not, the last pair of glasses you put on totally brightened your face. It's almost like you didn't have glasses on. Totally like the darker shades as well but the clear ones were so unexpected and flattering.

I don't know about Germany, but in France you can get your prescription glasses partly reimbursed by the social security system, so that's why they're so expensive!
If you guys this summer are looking for a fun beautiful trip I highly recommend the Pacific Northwest of the US. (Washington, Oregon and Idaho) its SOOOOO pretty in the summer and I think you guys would enjoy it.
This makes me want to eat ramen and binge on comics and stationery supplies. So many sweet moments, including the kitties sunbathing and the vegan convenience store. Thanks for the tour. I love both pair of new eyeglasses!

I've always wanted to go to Japan but I have two young kids (a three-year-old and a 2 month old) so it's not going to happen anytime soon.. so right now I live my life vicariously through you.😂 Your videos are so relaxing.. I watch them anytime especially when I feel down because you always put a smile on my face.💜 Can't wait to see your hair when you make it pink! Right now mine is a blood red but I've been wanting to make it somewhere between dusty rose and a Princess Pubblegum pink for a while now❤️
Totally get you about the glasses! I try to change mine every 2-3 years because I wear them all the time, my prescription changes slightly etc., but almost every time I get new ones I'm like, "Aaaahhhh, what did I do? I look so weird!", and then a week later it's like I've had them forever and if I put the old ones on I think I look weird in those. 😂 I love your new glasses, especially the purple ones. I think they'll look so pretty with pink hair, and I like that they are a little 'lighter' on your face despite being a similar shape to your old ones. x
My sister has similar glasses and I've always thought they were cute. I got some round ones with tortoiseshell last June, and I hate tortoiseshell but it's light and subtle enough that I really like it.

In Japan, there's this thing called "立ち読み (tachiyomi)" which literally means "stand up and reading" and that is considered rude in Japan because people read and don't buy the book. It's like, "If you are going to read it, buy it." Kind of a hidden rule.

I love your new glasses, they really enhances your face (don't know the perfect english word), they are not as heavy. I went to Japan for the first time last summer and also went to Itoya, the second time I went to the store I found the other Itoya on the back with even more paints, pens and stationary! I don't know if I ever will be back to Japan, but if I do I will definitely go to Kamakura and Koenji!
