My husband and I are missing our trip to Germany to see family and I saw your video! His aunt makes lovely cakes and puddings when we visit, so I used your recipe and the cake was delicious! Thank you for a very clear video and easy instructions! Danke!
Hi Cakeclassics. I really want to make traditional german cakes at home. Can you show me which recipes in your channel is traditional german cake? Or can you create a playlist about that?
I know someone who used to make something like this but with more of a cookie kind of crust or like a short pastry, not sponge cake. Would you happen to have a receipt like that?
amazing... I'm from Brazil and I can't find that fruit glaze in packages... can I use gelatin and omit the sugar? or there's a recipe somewhere for making my homemade glaze? thanks! just discovered your channel, and deeply loving everything I see. when I make mine, I'll give you the link. :-)
Thanks! You're idea sounds interesting. Normally apples and sponge mixture is not a typical combination. Apple are often used with a short pastry. But I think if you use sour apples and add a juicy component it could fit well together. So, I would just try. The best recipes arised because people just tried ;)
Thank you for posting this. My favorite. 😄 Can't wait to make it. Have been missing this for years. Could you please tell me what song it was that played last in this video.

Oh no lol darn! Well your better than me cause I would have used the F word haha. Goes to show that mishaps to happen. It's all good and a blooper would be great to see.

Hi, it is important that you boil up the vanilla cream again (while stiring), after all ingredients have been put together. Then, after a while it should become thick.
rpiercebutler Hi, all recipes are organized in a photo album called "Recipes (English language)". There's no possibility to enable a "website-like" browsing and searching in a facebook page (call Mark Z. ;-) ).

Thanks. :) You can also use gelatin. But you have to wait until the glaze begins to solidify, otherwise the sponge/pastry may soak up the fluid.
Looks fantastic, will try it as soon as possible. Im wondering though, could this be made with apples and caramel on top?
