I was able to go to Disney when I was wheelchair bound after having surgery and I was waiting for my mom for food when Push made me the star of his show. There was nothing more special and fun than my experience with push! It really made my entire trip. He wheeled around me and even played wedding music because he liked me hahaha! It really makes me sad that he's not there because there wasn't a whole lot ride wise I was able to go on due to my condition at the time. Push was to me, Disney magic. I never smiled so much I hope he comes back sometime so maybe we can meet again
Joi Robb, that's awesome
Thats so cool! I also Push was till here i never got to experience it :(
That’s nice 🙂
That's beautiful. Maybe Disney can purchase the rights to Push the same way they eventually purchased the rights to Oswald.
awesome
I MISS THE PUSH TRASH CANS, ONE TRIED TO GO ON SPACE MOUNTIAN WITH US
Sir Cunt Miggee that sounds awesome!
In Disneyland Paris they still have one, but it doesn’t talk anymore. 😕
Anxious Depression am I the only one who doesint know who that is
what, was he not tall enough to ride or did y'all just not let him cut in line?
OMG I remember accidentally offending the walking trash can and giving it an apologetic hug as a little kid.
That was a weird trip.
You were high while at the Magic Kingdom? Lol
Otaking Mikohani no, I mean a weird trip to Disneyland.
Although it sure felt like an acid trip.
I also met him too! I was drinking apple juice and he rolled right up to me and asked if he could drink it. Being the dumb little kid I was, I gave it to him and he, I shit you not, *SLuRpEd*
lol. I totally had a conversation with the trashcan, and he joked about my tie-die shirt. Fun times!
SAME! I wanted to throw my ice cream cup away and it talked. i ran away crying..
Those outtakes with Fozzie Bear heckling Michael Eisner are everything! Clips that should have never gone public but I'm so glad they did.
I think Oz was honing his "inner" director in that moment.
I’ve always loved Muppet bloopers cause they usually stay inc character; equally if the “human” messes uo
I have a (mildly) interesting story to share about Push! My family and I have made many trips to Disney World when me and my two sisters were young, and during one of these trips one of my sisters grew attached to Push, the trash can. We returned a few years later, and of course, one of the main things on our to do list was to find push! Upon finding him, my parents caught sight of the puppeteer controlling Push, and told him some basic information about me and my sisters (like the fact that we were triplets, and our names of course ) just in case we asked Push if he remembered us. Of course, it fooled us, and we went on for many years thinking the talking trash can from Disney was actually real and could remember us. A little silly looking back on it, but I appreciate what my parents did for us to keep the immersion alive and to enhance our experience! I ended up taking another trip to Disney with a group of friends last year, where I was sad to find out that Push had been retired.
Push the flirting trashcan is the most memorable part of my Disney experience. I tried to throw away a bottle in him and he jumped to life, flirted with me and asked to be my boyfriend, when I told him no he cried and scooted away. Tiny little kid me felt so bad for upsetting the trashcan that I went back up to it and professed my love. Everyone clapped, it was beautiful
Sara Elliott I saw the flirting trashcan at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
Tell me there's a video; I want to see that.
@@lukearnould im crying a little bit
Getting engaged to a trash can.
Yep, that's Disneyland for me.
"Everyone clapped" ugh we love a wholesome fake story

Top Ten Disneyland Lawsuits
Last Reading #10. The impending court case where were sued for using your idea.
Oooooo
once when I was about 7 at Disney, I was really scared of push... eventually, my parents convinced me to go say hi to push, so I did, and I had alot of fun! push said to me "next time, can you bring me a churro?" of course I said yes! but..... I never got to bring that churro for push....
Aww
Sooo sad and happy
Poor Push...
I got told that by the monster inc lady on Disney California Adventure
“Look at how sassy she’s eating that hay.”

No joke, that raptor suit looks eerily like the one they now use at Universal studios. I think someone might have sold the suit.
The visible hinges on the raptor suit make me think it's basically a prototype for the more flexible foam rubber suit I've seen elsewhere:
ruclips.net/video/Ul26r2rbhE4/видео.html
There's tons of dinosaur suits like that. Personally I think it's a shame nobody even tries using stilts to give them more realistic and cool leg movements.
Not really. This one had a guy in a black outfit waling just underneath it. Universal Studios DInosaur is much more techinically advanced.
@@trebillis7399 Yeah that's what I was thinking. The one at Universal is really good and painted more realistically, and if the human legs are visible, it's well hidden because they keep the velociraptor in an enclosure with a lower wall that blocks the legs if I remember right. And honestly Universal should be better XD They have Jurassic Park, and the velociraptors in that movie were suits with people in them!
Looks like just an early prototype of the type of suit they use at Universal. The Universal one looks way better than that. You’re just seeing the same type of costume and thinking it’s the exact same one lol
I learned why the Tarzan walk-around character was retired this Sunday.
Apparently hot dudes in loin cloths are a magnet for groping and sexual harassment.
Kinda funny, but pretty sad that those dudes had to go through that. Seems like Disney didn't think that through.
...God imagine if Jessica Rabbit were a walk-around character. I can see the lawsuits now.
LadyShay She is...I don't get it but she is.
Privacy Lover she is very creepy though, i think that’s the only thing that’s saved her
Tarzan hasn't been fully retired though! You can still see him during special occasions. I think he's out with Jane in MK on halloween.
I think Disney also lost the rights to Tarzan if I recall
@@literaryloser4470 which is why Tarzan is a separate copyright hold in Kingdom Hearts (At keast it is in "The Story So Far)!
I saw PUSH when I visited Disneyworld when I was little and I absolutely loved him. To hear he's been removed is hearbreaking.
The only time I ever came in the vicinity of that thing was when I saw it enter one of the employee doors. I thought I was hallucinating.
I dunno. It seemed like a cute idea, but "campaigning to be the mayor of tommorowland" and "flirting with guests"?
...Yeah.
Not to mention, they probably have to update the bot to hide the controller alot better. It should be easy to do with today's technology, but even then...
James Kerch-Matthias I’d vote him over any politics any day
4 years ago, I went to Disney World. Around that time, I was a fan of the Disney show Gravity Falls, I'm still a fan of it today. Anyway, I had on my Dipper Pines' blue pine tree hat and I was sitting down waiting to get on the spinning teacups. I didn't know this but I was sitting next to Push the talking trash can. I'm just sitting there talking about my feet were hurting and then this happened "Hi! What's your name? " said Push. I got up and took out running. Then I hear this, "I like your Dipper hat!"
+1 for Gravity falls lol
DUDE TELL ME ALL ABOUT THE COURT CASE
Basically one of the Tigger actors was accused of groping a girl while posing for a picture, he was acquitted after his defense attorney proved that he had very little arm move and peripheral vision in the costume and couldn't have even known that he had done it. The general consensus is that the girls mother was trying to get money because she claimed that it happened to her as well, but during a separate visit, but nothing came of it.
@@patternaut8338 so Tigger got metoo'd? LMAO
Patternaut always about money
Personally, i find it interesting that the lawyer made that statement while wearing the tigger suit. Must have been an interesting court case, thats for sure.

WHAT?! THEY GOT RID OF THE TRASHCAN?! I didn't even know the trashcan had a name, but OH MY GOD he was my favorite part of Disney World! I was 6 years old, walking through the park with my parents (who had just given me a spiffy new Harley Davidson leather jacket), and that trashcan came up to me, addressed me BY MY FIRST NAME, and complimented me on my jacket. No other experience at Disney World, not any show, character, attraction or ride, ever measured up to that. I double checked every single trashcan I used for the rest of my stay at the park.
We always called Push “trashy”-I didn’t know that Push was his name, lol. I LOVED Push so much!! Was very sad when I stopped seeing him at the parks, he was so cool
I remember push when I was young, I was about 8 at the time and I was talking with my sister, all of a sudden I saw this weird trashcan and I went up to it and the damn thing turned around and said my name and I was weirded out but it started joking with me and I warmed up to it quickly. Long live push, one of the strongest examples of pure disney magic in my opinion.
I remember seeing PUSH as a kid. It was incredibly surreal and really helped bring in some of the magic of the park. Like, imagine being a 9 year old, first time in Disney Land. You're taking in all of the stuff going on when suddenly this trash can starts talking to people. It was one of those "rub your eyes because you might be seeing things" moments
The cow one was interesting.
Rose Skerrett ikr
The legend herself, Minnie Moo. May we never forget. RIP
She was so cute
Roses Ske ikr lol 😂😂😂
Looks like left ear was sprayed on....
Don't lie, we all know that Minnie Moo was made into burgers.
they should have had her stuffed
Mickey burgers.
@@Generic8864 15 years for a holstein cow is pretty good, they have notoriously short lifespans compared to other cow breeds and their working life on most of the big commercial dairy farms is only 4-6 years and even most smaller farms usually replace their cows at around 8-10 years old (usually they are just sent to slaughter after that unless the animal has some sentimental value). Even then most cows have a max lifespan of about 20 years, though there are a few breeds that can live to about 30, give or take, years old.
Dying of natural causes and becoming burgers are not mutually exclusive concepts. Just saying
@@GigglingKat Yep, I had a grandpa burger just the other day!
Are the extinct walk around characters going to be in defunctland vr as walk around characters
The brick Builder it would be a missed opportunity if Kevin didn't.
Imagine Chandler walking outside BTTF or Superstar Limo like in the footage here. Or Push roaming past 20,000 Leagues or Disaster Transport.
Sorry, I meant Lucky
I worked in Tomorrowland, and one time when I was still backstage, the operator had PUSH talk to me and I probably jumped about three feet in the air. I loved PUSH from my time working there and I am sad he's gone.
I do wonder what happened to all the retired walk around characters. There are so many, I like to think they're locked away in some warehouse somewhere...
probably. They sometimes bring out rare characters for special events like when they train new cast members or for Vacation Club events.
they sent them to hell, where they belong
As much as I love the idea of a Raiders of the Lost Ark type warehouse with thousands of retired characters and rides, I've seen pictures of old animatronics and outfits just pilled together and left to rot. I can't confirm it happens everywhere and to everything, but some of them are lost to time.
NateTheNerdy Can you share the pics if you don't mind?
Flower from Bambi needs to return to the parks complete with a new design.
Push is one of my clearest memories from the Disney parks. I recall trying to throw away some trash and being very surprised when push got offended. It was a very fun time and I still remember it quite clearly 8 years later. I'm sad to hear it's been retired but glad I got to see it, a shining example of that good 'ol Disney magic.
It's not clickbait if you don't lie, which you don't and I applaud you for that and being a real RUclipsr
I actually remember Push fondly, only met them once. This was back in 2007, we were in the Animal Kingdom park, and while a lady was showing off this baby alligator/crocodile to a group of kids and my family, this trashcan rolled up suddenly and started talking along with the show host. It all was pretty neat. Afterward, this looney started following us because he thought my lil sister was one of the disney princesses XD It was weird day when that happened, can never forget it.
A show that is very close to my heart is the Buzz Lightyear show at Pizza Planet. I forget what the official name was. It was a tradition of mine to eat lunch at Pizza Planet and watch the Lightyear show since Toy Story was my jam. I always enjoyed the large, imposing animatronic Zurg that would rise from the stage. I remember one year waiting for the show for quite some time, until they announced that the show had been cancelled. They continued to announce this for quite a few months a few times a day due to the crowds of disappointed children. Could we see an episode on this show? I believe it has been somewhat revived as Trials of the Temple, but I'd argue that the lack of the animatronic is enough change to be eligible for a place in Defucntland. I rest my case.
A shameless bump, indeed sir. Tis' a good cause.
Sub Par
This is it! Thanks so much! You rock. So much nostalgia. Defunctland or not, I'm glad to have the video.
Sub Par
Since I have now had to chance to watch it in full: it seems less like an animatronic and more like an actor in a stationary costume. A kick ass costume, but no robotics nonetheless. Probably not a good idea to have animatronics in the open air, unless you want them to be on par with the Jurassic Park ride.
Nukenin MGT Try to look up Club Buzz soundtrack! You can listen to the full show! And there have been 2 video's of the whole show. One with Starla's introduction and warming up and the other one without her. With a slight change in Lryics.
Demy Smit
If you're getting this notification and are interested go to Demy's channel! She's got a studio quality take of Starla's song! Give it some love.
I still remember that great day when Push tried to steal my hat.
GIANT WALKING MUPPETS ARE NOT A THING THAT SHOULD BE REAL!
oh I agree. The theatre place I go to also does gigs for masked characters and princesses (which is pretty fun since once I played a princess!) and they have a miss piggy one, which is terrifying.
Says the walking talking stuffed bear.
is that a double negative?
Jacob Mault Yes.
Evidently, Henson did personally sign off on the Muppet suits.
holy mackerel, you just unearthed/confirmed one of my favorite childhood memories. i went to disney world around 2002 and met push! he absolutely baffled & delighted me - i was old enough to know the animatronics were just machines, but could not FOR THE LIFE OF ME figure out how this one was interacting with people and having real conversations! the family sitting next to us told him they were from ecuador and he went "eeeEEEECUADOOOR" in his cute little robot voice
Oh my gosh, I totally forgot about PUSH! He followed me and joked towards me as a kid and I cried SO HARD because he scared the crap out of me lol
Actually, I'd love to know more about the walk-around Tigger! I've always wondered why his nose is black but the actual character's nose is pink.
5:27. How it feels to chew 5 gum
"Let's do a top 5 video, people love those"
"I dunno, isn't that kinda, clickbaity?"
"No, I don't think we're fine."
"Oh, okay, let's do it!"
the fact that disney felt the need to buy a cow just cause it was born with markings that looked like a mickey head is WILD and i feel says a lot about how controlling of their image disney is
Still it saved the cows life, so theirs that.
They bought the cow under pressure from the family of farmers who owned it from a letter writing campaign
The original owners were gonna kill it otherwise.
The farmers had trouble justifying the expense of feeding her since she was a poor milk producer and they WANTED Disney to buy her so that she could live on
mobius hey, the cow found a new place to live and Disney a new animal mascot. I call win-win
Similar to Push, I also remember a small potted palm tree that would squirt water. It ended up having a quick draw shootout with my brother who carried around a toy sheriff's pistol. My dad later confessed he would talk to the operator to have Push give an extra personal experience!
Now I gotta look into that Tigger court case, I don't know about that.....
You’d be surprised
You two are just the funniest guys ever to do a video together. I don't know why I never thought you would ever do one but then I see this and you two just take the cake. Really did enjoy this video. Really cool. Keep up y'alls work
Lets see that court case!
IF KEVIN SHOWS THAT COURT CASE HE IS THRU
I really miss Push. I remember him so vividly, it really gave me my "magic" moment at Disney. When I asked my friends about him when they went recently they said they didn't see him. I had no idea that he had been retired. This is saddening...
whats this about a court case
just make an episode on that i would watch it
It's a huge court cases surrounding a Disney face character. Probably what made it that way is that there was actually footage of the incident involving the tigger character and the family. I don't quite want to spoil what it is, but I hope that gives you some help figuring it out ;)
+JC Yote Bud you're on the internet using a website owned by *Google* , I'm pretty sure you can find it yourself.

I remember Push. He said to me "Oh my! Your on fire!" I had a sweat shirt with flames on it. This was like 2008 maybe? I remember kids wouldn't stop kicking him and he would tell them to stop but they wouldn't.
I miss the trash can man thing. Was the first memorable experience from Disney

i love push the trash can!! once my dad managed to “convince” him that he was george washington, and then later in the day while walking through tomorrowland he even remembered him, lol. he also sang happy birthday to my sister

OMG Push the Talking trash can was probably my favourite part of the time I went to Disneyland over five years ago. I was extremally disappointed to no longer find it a few years later, what a time.
no views + 4 likes = me too.
Push was the highlight of a family vacation to Disney World back when I was little! The rest of my family was eating ice cream (I hadn't wanted any at the time) when Push wheeled up and started talking. He remarked on how I was the only one not eating ice cream and said, "Are you on a diet? You shouldn't be..." (I was in kindergarten) We all found it so funny and he totally made my day! Sad to hear he's no longer there!
That ending was the best 18 seconds of audio I have ever heard in my life 😂😂😂
I remember seeing the trash can one when I was 7 and it scared the shit outta me. I was just minding my own business when all of a sudden a living talking trash can came up to me and talked to me and I was just so confused and terrified. But like I low-key still wish it was there.
I want to hear about the court case! I’m interested!
I went to Disney World when I was in elementary school for a week on vacation. My brother (who is three years and two days younger than me) and I were both celebrating our birthdays at the various parks. Push came up to me on my birthday (seeing that I had a Disney birthday button on) and interacted with me. He interacted with my brother as well. It is one of the most vivid memories I have of the entire vacation, and I remember how Push kept jokingly asking us to throw various things (like our hats) in the trash can so he could have them for himself. It genuinely seemed like magic as I had no idea how the trashcan was able to see me, as I didn't see any cameras on the trashcan anywhere. (I didn't realize about the cast member who was secretly operating it.) It was so fun, and it legitimately made my day (well birthday!)
Could that attraction in the back be Superstar Limo?
Never thought I'd say this but dang, I miss that trashcan...
Me too I never got a chance to see it!!!!
The funny thing is I’m subscribed to both channels. I’m patiently waiting for Dan’s video to come.
Enzo Mondoñedo coming soon!
I had a little Figment plushie as a kid, and I had recently started to think I had entirely made up getting that little purple dragon at Disney! I was even starting to doubt I actually had a soft toy of a purple dragon called "Figment of the imagination" (young me decided sentences could be names). I could not for the life of me remember why or how it fit in with Disney, I just remember really loving him, and assumed I just added false memories of getting him on holiday at Disney.
You should Do one on the universal's house of horrors
Jacob valero v I worked at that attraction in Hollywood CA
Aww I miss push! I remember meeting him at my first visit to tomorrow land!
Since my family and I are from Colorado, we all had our Bronco gear on, and all I really remember was him commenting on it
I’ve been looking forward to this video all week! They rock, Kevin! And yours too, Dan!
David Millennium that’s fine... I mean “you rock” is literally my catch phrase but no no... I guess it’s ok that only Kevin rocks. Lol

Just a few seconds into the video and already I have to commend the cleverness of using the switch from youtube's dark theme to light theme as a representation for walking in and turning the light on (especially with it being accompanied by the flicker sound, reinforcing that idea).

That, my friend, would be Ice Cold Refreshment.
push was one of my favorite parts of disney when i visited before it was retired around 2009. does anyone know if it’s cousin is still around?
When I was 8 I broke my wrist the day before we went to Disney World. I got as many autographs as I could on my cast, I never did get Mickey's though. Spent 3 days at Disney and on the 4th day we went to Wet and Wild. Even with a plastic bag the old plaster cast fell apart that night.
