I have a USA-made Detroit and an India-made one as well. The difference in quality isn’t super stark, but it’s there. However, most of the people I see wearing these now have never done a single day of manual labor in their lives, so as long as it has that patch and someone else’s wear and tear on it, I’m sure they’re happy.
Hey man, love carhartt jackets for their obvious comfort and durability. Im a bartender who has to ride long distances. I understand the resentment, but i think sharing the love benefits everyone.
They aren't made in the US anymore so I'm glad I bought 2 before they changed them

@@TheOnefalcon07 you know when they switched over? I’m looking to buy one that’s U.S made. Used or what have you as long as it’s in good shape. I never buy new clothes but finally had to retire my old one

Are new detroit jackets with spandex less durable ?
I'm still hesitating that the new version won't last as long as the 100% cotton version.
