Steve & Otis sang with me on Tranquility Island. In fact, that photo of Steve & Otis, I believe I took. After the World closed, we did shows at North DeKalb Mall. It was there that a sign on the bulletin board that said they were holding auditions for the Hensons. I showed Steve the sign & told him to call. The rest is history. I moved to Nashville to continue perform. Haven’t seen Steve since then but am so proud of him
I'm so glad to have been able to go to the World of Sid and Marty Krofft. I didn't realize it only existed for 6 months. It's so hard to explain how unique it was. There has never been anything like it - it was so weird - in a cool way. The best way to explain it is - it was like the whole day was a fever dream. Everything was so trippy. We saw quite a few live performers - the spider lady scared the hell out of me - I just wanted to walk away from that, but my parents liked it. They even had a theater on one of the levels. It was the only normal thing in the whole building. I can't remember what we saw in that theater - but it was a live performance of something. I still have a toy I got there.
Great piece you did on Krofft World & Monster Plantation. Being from that area, there was a Six Flags Atlanta commercial 1988 with a boy on a porch swing. I've been trying to find this advert. Could YOU please help me to track it down. Pleasssseee?

So awesome to get to talk to Steve! And I love hearing about this theme park!
Nice job and probably the most information I have come across on the park!
