I'm a productivity geek so I've seen and read alot on the topic and was starting to see the same repetitive information but you are AMAZING, so glad to see a new approach to things like Kanban and Pomodoro..!! Love the way you put the techniques into a visionary mindset and so clear cut.. Thank you!!
Ditto!!! She has the most relatable and realistic approach that I can actually implement. I've always struggled with figuring out how to create my own system from all of the other recommendations/people. THIS has actually made it click and I'm so excited!
Your teaching methods just click! U are a gifted instructor in time management/planning. Thanks for sharing your valuable insights!!! Please consider offering one-on-one coaching service!
Thank you!! You kept this so simple and connected all of the dots to help see the process from start to finish without overcomplicating it with "this tool", "that planner", etc. I am new to your channel and so happy to have found you. Even your explanation of writing out a project in my bullet journal and backdating it to then put on my calendar clicked together so many pieces for me. I was totally making a mountain out of task management. No more! Thank you so much, Alexis.
Amazing video and vision book! One reason so few of us achieve what we truly want is that we never direct our focus; we never concentrate our power. Most people dabble their way through life, never deciding to master anything in particular.
Think a thought once is good. Also what are your main worries and what are you avoiding thinking about? For instance, debt. Get that big thing written down and strategies need to be implemented.
I really like the way you personify the mind in that it "learns" to "trust you" using this system. As Type 5s we have such a deep relationship with our minds and our superpower is objectivity anyway, so it makes sense to step back and see the mind like this. And I really love your sound byte re: thinking each thought only once and immediately putting it somewhere to free up the mind. Like you, I prefer to schedule "do" dates versus "due" dates... That way my mind can remain free of the task until it's time to do it.
Wow...your ability to simplify and strategize is incredible. I have listened to others on productivity and sometimes its filled with a lot of detail and fluff, but this really spoke to me. It is really encouraging to hear your husband is ISFP and has implemented planning/Te as I saw in one of your other videos. I am an ISFP that has unfortunately wasted a lot of life and has been struggling the last several years to get things in order.
This is excellent. I think this is a system I could use! Might also help me with saying 'no' to things because my calendar will be much more full - rather than having "open" spaces all over that are actually filled with stuff I gotta do. Thanks Alexis!
Messy mind < Messy calendar was my big takeaway! I also liked the idea of the brain dump and getting it out of my head as well as planning and unplanned event early in the month. I've liked and subscribed and can't wait to watch more! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I recently build my productivity system which works for me. And I’m watching this video after half year maybe .. and I can say that this video is amazing
This video was incredibly helpful 😭🤌🏾 I always used to do step 1. And step 2. By writing all that came to mind either on a piece of paper or my Apple notes app, but what would end up happening is that I would have a lonnnnggg to do list because I wouldn’t schedule when to do the tasks. And when the end of the month came, I would be so sad & disappointed that I didn’t do anything 😂
Hey Alexis, I recently came across your Product system videos from last year and the recent ones as well, Thank you so much for sharing valuable insights and Keeping the price of the vision book reasonable as well! Gonna buy them today! Much love:)
Love this - especially that you started with goals and vision. I wrote my North Star statement on my Hive Goals and that took me a long time because of the procrastination you mentioned in the beginning of the video, but once my goals were defined I made it easy to transition to task management and time management. I can assign myself and my team tasks on Hive and also block time on my calendar as well as use time tracking feature on the action cards to know if my plans are realistic next time I set a time block for myself. Wondering what is the PM tool you use, if any? I see you like the white boards - I'm a big fan too, but it doesn't work with collaborating with others.
Wow! This is really great for beginners! I love the way you describe everything and the examples you give! Great job! I will be sharing this videos with some people who need this broken down like this. Thank you for your content. Great job!
Makes sence, I watched before but I didnt comprehend it at that point. Can you do a video on how you set up your calendar and how you organize your notes? Thanks!
I’m a caregiver so I go the super vague route. Certain tasks I need to do every day to move along my goals (even if it’s just 5-10 minutes). And then “GOAL goals”, I have maybe 3 goals I wanna accomplish by the end of the week. I try to work with this method.
Thank you for another great video! Your insights have been so helpful!! I bought and filled out the 2022 Vision Book and I am already seeing results. Many thanks!
Agree that translating tasks into schedule ASAP reduces risk of procrastination. Your framework reminds me of Cal Newport’s Capture, Control, Plan, Execute, Reflect model.
Hey Alexis, just some thoughts here.. You said several times that the purpose was to "clear your mind for creativity". Studies actually show that having your mind full and using it at high capacity is actually good for brain health prolonging the onset of brain diseases like dementia and Alzheimers. Specifically brain tasks that require critical thinking and problem solving which is the work of the frontal cortex of the brain which is the number one thing that sets humans apart from animals. You seem to put value on creativity above critical thinking and problem solving brain function, but objectively the later is actually better for brain health. I know you were probably specifically talking about emptying your brain of the worries of all the errands you need to get done, and if that is a problem for someone then yea, It's good to figure out a system to get that stuff done instead of worring about it all the time instead of using your brain for something more productive. I just wanted to state that the brain is designed to operate on full capacity so just emptying it is not a complete picture. The brain needs strenuous tasks like critical thinking to remain healthy, but worrying about errands is probably not the best. But creativity does not provide the brain with the strain necessary to remain healthy. Theses are facts tested in science, not just Ti bias.
Hi! I have found it depends on which article you read. Also, I have noticed when you follow through on creative ideas it leads to critical thinking as the next step needed to finish the project. Writing things down then gives the mind the room to focus on that and innovate.
@@sunnydays6228 The articles that say that this is wrong about critical thinking are wrong. And creativity can possibily lead to critical thinking, but It's not critical thinking It's self. Many things lead to critical thinking and yet many people try to avoid the critical thinking part of a project.
I think that *is* what she was saying though. It was implied. Her words were for those of us who have the endless chatter that keeps us from getting started.
I made this video into ONE all-in-one 2024 planner!! 🎉 🎊 www.alexiskingsley.com/ It's the Dream Management System, Task Management System, and Time Management System in one!!
I'm sure this will help a lot of people but my God I'd hate to lead a life that needed a system. Or to think of life as some kind of project management.
I'm a productivity geek so I've seen and read alot on the topic and was starting to see the same repetitive information but you are AMAZING, so glad to see a new approach to things like Kanban and Pomodoro..!! Very amazing video I must say and very realistic
Sanctioned procrastinating is my new favorite thing

Intj here 👋🏼 thinking a thought once is a game changer. Really feels good writing tasks down to free up mental bandwidth

same here!!!! I am hopeful.
The value in these videos is actually incredible. Success is coming.
I bought your vision 2022 book and it has been so useful to me that I shared it with like 10 people. Thank you for making it
Amazing video and vision book! One reason so few of us achieve what we truly want is that we never direct our focus; we never concentrate our power. Most people dabble their way through life, never deciding to master anything in particular.
I put this in my favorites because it's so helpful and now and again when I get overwhelmed I refer to it and it sets me back on track! Thank you!!😀
No BS straight to the point, lots of examples. I pulled several good tips from it.
This is what I did when I was single. If you’ve gotten into a relationship since this, that’s a new video idea. Productivity with a partner.
Think a thought once is good. Also what are your main worries and what are you avoiding thinking about? For instance, debt. Get that big thing written down and strategies need to be implemented.

chained to the chaos of your mind vs a structured calendar....brilliant! :)

Excellent, lucid presentation! What you outlined is basically my system which I use - with all the good results!
Alexis what a beautiful logical brain you have, thank you 🙏🏾 😍

And you’re even wearing a Zeppelin shirt. Can we get married? 🤣
Disappointed to hear you falling for the LOA and manifesting BS.
I'm sure this will help a lot of people but my God I'd hate to lead a life that needed a system. Or to think of life as some kind of project management.
Manage projects (project: things you want to do) but live your life.
The RUclips algorithm sent me here... Your authenticity and simplicity kept me here... Pleasant voice and "Cuteness" made me subscribe! 1-2-3!!! 🔥
