I dashed to your site to make my purchase. I was so excited about my new planner and to get started! Then the nervousness set in, like it always does when starting something new. I'll need to power through and do the work. I'm glad you and your videos are here for support! Thank you!
I‘m a master at planning :D doing is the hard part for me. I actually need to stop myself from overplanning to every detail, because while that feels productive, it’s often procrastination, and when I‘ll finally do it it‘ll be in a different way and time anyway.
@@valeb410I think one of the best ways to overcome that issue is to go do that thing, but tell yourself you will only do a very small amount of work. It will inevitably trick your brain into no longer procrastinating and you, over time, will do more and more. For example, if you plan to start a project of painting a room, tell yourself you only need to tape a small section of the room for prep work. It feels less daunting and gets you in the mode of doing. While you tape you realize you actually have more time and it’s feeling good to continue on. Before you know it the whole room is prepped for the paint. I hope that helps.
After researching a good deal of videos trying to find a practical guide to goal setting, and I don't mean "I want to read more this year" but goals that align within a grander strategy, I must say that your videos are the crucial, actionable, echelon, that brings it all together. No non-sense, practical and straight to the point.
Love this!! I started using your vision planner in 2022. I love how your planners have evolved in helping people build the systems that support vision manifesting.
This is my first time watching a video by you and I could tell you were a teacher before you even mentioned it. Nothing better than using large paper boards to explain something. It really helped me focus and digest what you were writing without the overstimulation of graphics and bright colours most videos about this topic use. And your explanations were simple and straightforward. Will definitely be checking out your channel. Thank you!
I've been really enjoying your series! I actually learned to plan this way by trial and error this year and I had my most successful year. I finished my first rough draft, I lost 9lbs, I paid off a chunk of debt and set up an emergency fund all while having more quality time with my family. And it took putting what I wanted in a timed planner and continued journaling and reflecting as I went. I really resisted the idea of setting things by time cuz of my flowy hippy nature but it made all the difference. Your planner is amazing and I believe it would work for people. Well done.
Thank you! I used to be so organized before coding/remote work/the pandemic. Some systems/planners are hard to get into but this seems doable and the videos really help.
@AlexisKingsley your videos are paradigm-shifting and reality-transformative, Alexis! I'd love to purchase the previous two versions as study and review material to supplement the 2024 version that I bought an hour ago. Could this be available for purchase please, Alexis? Thanks for all that you do. Ciao, Ciao.
Great content! Consider using a lapel wireless microphone in your videos. It will improve your subscribers' overall audiovisual experience, especially if you add some volumen-compression and EQ in post-editing.
Great video, especially for an ISFP dummy like me. I watched the video about "annoying things ISFPs do". Haha..😅 way too many of those resinate with me
Here's a video timestamped to the portion where I talk about the how-to's of the 3 formats: ruclips.net/video/JBNfsJv0X6U/видео.htmlsi=qKQ3abzxTfIGROhf&t=453 😊

@@alexbarnes6367 yes, I’ve heard other people say the same. I’m going to try it 😊 thank you!
Long term consequences are such a powerful way to look at short term decisions. Great video, thank you!

As an INFP this is a lifeline for me; thank you! I've been getting so much value from your content and just bought your planner :)
yesss! looking forward ti the series on how to actually plan. i gte so overwhelmed
Love your teaching style!🤙
You are either a chemist or a physicist in my mind based on two things: you’ve taught, and you used entropy as a metaphor.
How have I not seen your channel before? I subscribed about 10 minutes into this video.
These videos are always so helpful and inspiring to me! Thank you Alexis for making these types of videos.
This is really helpful!
Excellent video 🎉
Smart!!

wow! i've never heard of a teacher who hand "free time" in the evening! good for you! what grade did you teach??
Were you a physics teacher, by any chance? Great video... it's sublime listening to another motivated INTJ talk about life.
I really liked your Lil pyramid of project priority (PPP©️)
It can be used for skills too, ey? like, practice once a day, once a week, once a month.
I'm using 13 weeks instead of yearly, cos crazy world yo 😅
What type of paper do you recommend to print on for the happy planner size of your planner download?
28lb! It's one step up from standard printer paper and is not see-through!
@@AlexisKingsley thank you! I felt like printer paper was too thin!

Does Alexis have a Facebook page or a instagram? I can't find it.. Also, is there a digital planner? Thank you
I don't have any other socials, but there is a digital planner! alexiskingsley.com
Where have you been all of my planning life?
Yeah but how did you get the planner is a nice spiral like that?

Which tablet do you use your planner on?
Hi there. I use the Notability app on a 2nd Gen iPad Pro.
