Hi, I purchased your planner but am not sure how to use it on my iPad. Right now it is in my Files as a download. I couldn't find a way to email you, so I thought I would try here to ask you. Will I be able to fill it in on the iPad? Thank you for all your hard work!

@@thejoyofreceivingloveHi! I use the free app Notability on my ipad. I imported the PDF into the app and then use my apple pencil to write on it.

@@AlexisKingsley your videos are paradigm-shifting and reality-transformative, Alexis! I'd love to purchase the previous two versions as study and review material to supplement the 2024 version that I bought an hour ago. Could this be available for purchase please, Alexis? Thanks for all that you do. Ciao, Ciao.

Thank you so much for taking the time to create this content! I grew up in a household that didn’t teach me how to be disciplined & structured and this is knowledge that I can now share with my siblings.
I used to hate calendars because I felt that they restricted my freedom, but you’ve completely re-defined that for me.
    Thank you!!

This is a refreshing approach to daily planning! I love the framework and the concept of getting started the night before. This is sometimes called priming. Getting started is critical for us folks with ADHD. Thanks!!

I really want to be this intentional and this organized. It's pretty intimidating with so many executive functioning issues. I've been doing a couple 7 Minute Life time management trainings however what you laid out really resonates with me. It seems like it will take hours and days to do everything that Ieads up to the weekly and daily planning. How much time should I allow myself for each level, so that I have a gauge?

My BIGGEST issue with daily planning is the type of work I do. I am a Youth Mobile Crisis responder, so at anytime between 8am and 6pm I can be called out to respond. I also have ADHD and get trapped in that "I can't start on anything because I may get interrupted." I would welcome any and all suggestions for how to make SOME sort of daily plan that will help me do the other necessary parts of my job, as well as keep myself feeling balanced in all of the things I need to do on any given day. Your channel is just so wonderful..I wish I had found you years ago!

I worked in a similar situation. The simplest way I can describe what I did, was prioritize things A through C, with D being short to do list style tasks. I then planned my ideal day.
When I would get back from an interruption I’d compare the activity I had planned for the current time with what was interrupted, and I would favor the higher priority activity. B over C, A over everything.
If I got back at the end of a planned time block, I’d insert a D list item or 2 and then start the next time block with the highest priority activity.
Hope this makes sense and I hope even more it helps!

Alexis, clearly you are a genius. The problem I have when watching your videos is that you are talking so quickly that I can’t keep up. I literally have to stop and rewind so many times just to understand what you’re trying to convey. Please, slow down! I realize for someone with your intellect that it will feel like you’re talking too slow, but for us, ordinary people, it will be perfectly normal. I bought one of your planners and I’m extremely impressed with it. Thank you for what you do.

try changing your playback speed to .75x or .50x. maybe that will help.

Everyone processes at a different pace. Simply change the playback speed to a pace that works for you.
For example, for me this felt too slow so I sped up to 1.25x

I have watched many videos on planning days, weeks, life but somehow this' day planning' helped me. May be because it is more focused on action. I think. Well explained the possible mental blocks that are usually faced while planning. Still I need to watch this video again so that I don't miss anything. I would like to see all of your planning videos but only after implementing this thoroughly in to my life. Thankyou! 😊

Hi Alexis! Your videos are so helpful. You make me feel really inspired and like there could be more in my control than there currently is. Thank you! I have a little question: do you include routines and habits (eating, exercise, self care, planning, chores, commutes, weekly appointments/lessons, etc.) and a regular full time job in the 60% time block or do you mean 60% of your free time outside of those things, that could be allocated to a creative project for example?

It would be cool to actually see a 'real life" snippet of this discipline in action. Like one we could watch you do your night before plan, the looking up to the week and comparing, and the next day's gratitude and chunking down the 60% of the day.
Also, I am curious as to when you plug the daily (and maybe) weekly planner work into your evening and morning routines? I think- for me and possibly others who struggle with planning/executing- that figuring out where and when to actually sit down and do the planner work evening and mornings- is most of the battle. Just a soft suggestion to speak to that or model it with a real life 'plan-a-long" video. Though for the week I was successfully sitting down Sunday afternoons pretty routinely to plan the week.
I am really enjoying these recent videos, they are super-enlightening.

I don’t think that quote in the description is really Mark Twain, or at least there’s not much evidence he ever wrote that. Lots of quotes get attributed to him though! It’s always interesting researching quotes like that.

Great video as always, Alexis! I’m a productivity app addict and I’m a huge fan of the app NotePlan. I would be curious to hear your take on it as a tool for digital planners. It is relevant to your philosophy because it has calendar-bound Daily, Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly notes which inspires the top down approach that you teach on the channel. Just an idea! Keep it up! :)
