Definetly fits to well. But Lion from the North is mine and yeah ... I ain´t deifying the guy, I deify the guy who shot him (well one on the list of suspects ...)
I mean. In ww1 Germany had effectively won. The British were retreating to their shoars, Russia was getting pushed back, and the rest of the allies didn't have much left to fight with, even with American aid. If America never joined or supplied the allies Germany would have won, though not easily, but they would have won.
*could, you underestimate British dominance at the time, they may not've had the industry, but oh boy they had the ability to put up a hell of a fight, that's why they conquered a quarter of the world
I've both heard this and have said this many a time, and I've come to finally say that... barely. Germany would've won by the SKIN. OF. ITS. TEETH. The British had effectively kept the Hochseeflotte contained to the Balitc Seas. The Battle of Jutland, albeit a tie, was a British Victory. Sure, the Germans did do more "damage" in terms of numerical losses, but... I'll just say a line brought up by History of Everything: "Germany was in Jail. Sure it fought it's prison guard and 'won'... but still remained imprisoned." The belief that Germany could just re-orient all it's troops from the east, while plausible... would've been a logistical nightmare. The German people were quite literally starving due to the British STILL blockading them, Germany was still losing more and more men in Trench Warfare, it's own tanks couldn't compete with British or French tanks at the time. Sure, the Germans did create the worlds first Anti-Tank Rifle, and thus the first Anti-Tank bullet designed specifically against tanks... but that was in early 1918 in which they did that... they'd surrender 11 months later and basically would be defeated a month or two before that (example being the Second Battle of Cambrai). German politics wasn't even politics anymore, it had become nothing but a Military Dictatorship under the "Third OHL" of 1916 (took De-facto power in 1917). Once Germany HAD won... it would have to oust the dictatorship, quell/deal with the Spartacists, and then not to mention potential seperatists in their new Eastern territories. Hell, the conditions of the war might've made the Deutsches Heer protest against the government due TO the conditions Post-War, who knows? TLDR: Germany could've won, that is a possibility. But by 1917/1918... it would've done so by the skin of it's teeth, if not an overall truce. If the US didn't intervene and the defeat of Russia allowed grain exports to Germany from other places to alleviate the blockade... they could've won. They had a better chance in 1914 to "win" than 1917.

VDV were the paratooper branch of the Soviet military. Not sure if the VDV was ever explicitly called out, but it's certainly implied by the uniforms in that Afghanistan flashback that she was VDV.
4:03 I hear how you think dreadnought is not as good as the Bismark. I would like to point out that the British Navy (along with the Polish destroyer ‘Prion’ carrying the team) were still able to sink the Bismark. Meanwhile, nukes were tested on multiple dreadnought. At least two of those class of ships (Salt Lake city & Nevada) came out of the testing from Operational Crossroads intact & still operational. As such, I declare Dreadnought to be superior to the Bismark. (Another point in favor of the Dreadnought is that one is still around this day, the USS Texas. Meanwhile, the Bismark has become German’s greatest engineered coral reef).
