Real respect given to your husband! He is so hardworking and faithful in filming everything that he would even use just a spoon to eat his noodles. #Respect
Yes! I'm from Sabah, this is a famous spot at Gaya Street I eat here with my family sometimes on Sundays! I'm glad you're enjoying the food! You should try traditional food while you're in KK!
this is the cutest vlog ever, the employees were smiling so sweet hahaha. also so nice to see you experiment with food, despite what people say I personally think there's no real right way to eating food 😆 as long as you enjoy the food, its all good! [there's a better way, but no right way😉]
yes, Sabahan eat this laksa too until tourist come and they move to another place to find laksa. this place originally famous with the ngu chap (beef noodle) not laksa.
I am a Sabahan and yes I reccommend this place for everyon to try. Its a halal chinese restaurant. 1 bowl is a lot and actually can feed two person. I also would like to reccommend sambal cobek i forgot the name. But the restaurant is located at cybercity and the price is really reasonable with the portion
If you squeeze that lime into laksa, it'll add another taste(sour) and it become complete 😄 The vinegar chilli sauce usually we eat it with Nasi Ayam (Chicken rice) 👍👍
I'm come from sarawak kuching, 13years ago, I have been go to sabah before, for me sabah laksa and kolomee noodles, more same like sarawak kuching laksa & kolomee. 😋👍
Gaya street was once flooded with tourists but due to the pandemic this place became a dead town. hopefully things are getting better now from pandemic to endemic. personally I have not been been to this place for the past 2 years. luv the laksa there. TQ for sharing this video
Since you are in Sabah, you should try the 'Tarap' fruit. Similar species to Cempedak/Jackfruit but smaller and sweeter. This fruit is only available in Borneo and Philippines. You should at least try once.
Yes locals do eat here! but after it became famous among tourists we go there lesser... Living in KK for almost 20 yrs, this is the only laksa I enjoy eating in KK! Different from other laksa that is just spicy, it is flavourful too. Spiciness level can be increased with the condiments like sambal Also, the boss here is so kind too!!!!
I always standby foods with me when watching iChang vid. That curry laksa & teh tarik ping/peng looks yummy. Definitely will search that shop when visit KK early nxt yr. 💯👍❤🔥🔥🔥
Did you try beef noodle (Ngiu Chap) got 4 different places and style that sales it delicious. Yii Siang (salted vege) at kolombong, Nyuk Pau at kolombong (Beef broth), Fatty Ngiu chap (beef broth) ask for Kon Lau Mihun at Hilltop and Kah Hiong (Radish Soup) at Hilltop also. All at KK area
wow.. you and your hubby really enjoy all the foods in Singapore and Malaysia.. But remember, do be cautious on your cholesterol and calories count with all this food intake :P
FYI, almost every state have their own version laksa which are very different. Example, Penang laksa is more to fishy soury spicy broth, and Johor laksa more to creamy creamy curry. The noodle also quite different. Even Singapore, nearby Indonesia area and south Thai have their own laksa. Most popular are Penang, Kelantan, Johor and Sarawak. And many Malaysians even Selangorians do not know, Curry Mee (mee is noddle in Malay and Hokkien/Fujian Chinese) in Peninsular Malaysia is actually Selangor Laksa.
If you can eat "laksa for breakfast", you are officially local, iChang! haha. i LOVEEEE Sarawak laksa (think it's the same with what you ate)...... I miss it so much. We don't have it here in Johor Bahru. THere were some shops in the past but they all closed down.
Muslims working at a Chinese restaurant. This is a very rare sight in West Malaysia. East Malaysia really is more harmonious, and I hope it stays that way. Wow, the noodles and drinks were expensive. Baharu means new.
While other vloggers crowd in Penang, KL, Malacca for food, you both explore the Sabah and Sarawak. Do you know that these two States alone has more than 10 ethnic groups and if you explore their foods you will attracts more viewers in no time. The two states have more diverse cultures than the west of Malaysia.
tried it before, i personally prefer Sarawak laksa more. this shop laksa taste too milky for my liking. if you happen to come to Sarawak one day, please try Sarawak laksa. 😊
Hi iChang !! The laksa in this restaurant is delicious. This restaurant is famous for its laksa. Many tourist came here to eat the laksa. Yummy yummy !!

good job reading the pizza hut poster .. maybe next time if you see a whole lime on the bowl, just squeeze the lime to add a bit of sour taste to the food..
You guys should always order teh tarik kurang manis ( less sugar) . Some places they would add so much condensed milk you'd be get diabetes on your second sip.
Yes boss. You have missed one of best food in Sabah, KK particularly. It is must try food for tourist from China. We, local have to compete with tourist to eat in this shop. Must try also their Teh Madras, much better than Teh tarik. Taukeh nyong also very friendly too
2:00 Sabahans are very friendly. 5:37 This Yee Fung laksa is actually not that spicy but as a local Sabahan I wouldn't really come here because it became a tourist trap as the laksa is not spicy at all. Too much coconut santan. It used to be delicious during my grandmother's time.
Add the sambal to adjust your spice level. The food quality is at a high level but too many customers and difficult to find car park in the city area. So locals will go for similar places in the suburbs or near housing areas.
Maybe you should try squeeze some lime juice for any food provided with lime in it. Usually the taste will improve two folds yummier hehe
squeeze the lime with the sambal for dipping the prawn and pulled chicken
U need to squeeze the mini-lime ... 😎
Hahaha they enjoy their food ...all the netizen who watch just have watery mouth🤣🤣
Yes its kinda curry laksa sarawak..u have to pitch that lime and put the sambal...walawee TERBAEK..my mouth is watering see your eating scene😭😭😭😭

Careful with Malaysian food. You can suddenly gain weight before you even notice it.
Sometimes, you might even lose quite abit of weight by having something which doesn't agree with your digestive system
Too late, Jimmy already like 6 month pregnant, hahaha
