    Those beggars sleeping on the pavement are foreign beggars from Myanmar and some other places. They are brought in by a syndicate to beg for money and then they pass it on to the syndicates. They make little from it. So if you see them, do not give them money, otherwise you are funding the syndicate. You can see them in the older part of the city like Chinatown and Masjid India but not in the CBD areas, for fear of enforcement.

    • @rasaminem3906
      @rasaminem3906 5 лет назад +9

      Not all of them work for syndicates. Some of them were really in poor coz of their status as a refugee. Our law don't allowed them to have formal jobs made them in desperate situation to feed their family. We need to change the law to allow them to have proper job in certain sector so they could have a bit better life here. It's not a bad policy to let them work here since it will reduce the need of foreign workers i.e from Bangladesh and Nepal.

    • @iskandartaib
      @iskandartaib 3 года назад

      There are a bunch that come from China, usually they are missing limbs, etc. And a syndicate does bring them in, probably using tourist visas. They go round to all the night markets. Apparently the market in China has gotten too crowded, they've been doing this same thing in China. Supposedly the syndicates kidnap children and injure them so they are disabled. They're not just in Malaysia either, you see them all over the Western world.

    Family Mart opened a few years ago in Malaysia. I like their onigiri and sandwiches. Once in a while I'll eat their bento, I liked their zaru soba the best. I suspect if I visit Japan I will be eating a lot of onigiri (since the sandwiches will probably be mostly non-halal). The prices are high for Malaysia, though. The "rhino water" is supposed to cool you down - not sure if it works. It's sort of a kind of patent medicine. They do have Family Mart in Thailand (and Lawson as well). The 7-11s here are quite a bit different compared to those in Japan. The main beef I have with Family Mart in Malaysia is that they discontinued the Japanese-style oden soup - they only have tom yam soup these days (probably because the Japanese-style soup wasn't popular?). I liked the Japanese-style soup.

      Those people are beggar syndicate and some are drug addicts. Don't be surprise that they actually earn more than an average Malaysian. They usually roam at a very touristy area like BB and Petaling Street.
      Actual homeless usually at jalan TAR/ Chow Kit. DBKL have homeless centre there for these people.

      @@davidjames4410 initiative already done by DBKL. They have quite numbers of homeless centre to get them back on track. Some also public fund "food for homeless" which distributed every evening at Jalan TAR.
      These people at jalan Petaling and BB (in video) is a known syndicate for quick and easy money, I saw DBKL and police would chase them away in early 2000 but nowadays I don't see any enforcement. What I hate the most some would bring their child along running their syndicate.

    iChang, I suggest you buy ridsect liquid heater cordless in plug to lessen the mosquitoes... if you buy the spray one, the smell would make you uncomfortable...

      If staying in Robertson I think better close all the windows and on the air-conditioning even though you are at high floor . The Robertson is next to the abandoned plaza rakyat project site that also next to pudu bus terminal. The project site had been abandoned for years and I believe it's basement is flooded . It will be the biggest breeding ground for mosquito in kl.

    4:42 cool rhino like last time you bought at hk for cool down "yit hei" after indulge durian
    6:30 localized onigiri. Aeon supermart had do this thing along long time already
    7:17 just a verification for muslims for no doubt to eat.
    8:26 maybe is margarine or butter, if inside do had some sugar, mostly is the butter with sugar.
    actually FamilyMart is like Aeon convenient store, since the product and the price of selling is higher compared with other market. Perhaps the price is higher than 7-11
    In my opinion, you do need to ready cashless wallet for future

    Sorry, 🦟 are hard to avoided. But I hardly recommended to get 🦟 repellent, the 🦟 coil, patch or 🦟 kills spray. Best to get Lemongrass especially the repellent which you can get at pharmacy or household products. If city still OK but if you go to the rainforest, this 🦟 are the worst.
    Durian is out of season but you can get the alternative especially durian flavours foods. BTW please try Durian Coffee, I kinda love that I bought at Tenom Sabah. Yip Foh Musang King Coffee.
