Wonderful job! Great attention to detail. I had a seamaster torn apart waiting on replacement parts and this was an excellent reminder of just how everything goes back together.
Took me forever to line up my date jumper (totally different piece from yours) with the keyless works when replacing the plate- good think I knew how the 565 date func works! Edit: I'm wearing my 166010 as I type this!! Yay!
@@magicofwheels Absolutely because of your videos- I especially liked how gentle you were removing and placing all parts. New hobbyists don't realize how easy it is to lose a piece (that you can't easily replace) if not extremely careful.
@@magicofwheels What are you doing to the comment section????🤔 Don't You have a Hamilton chronograph to repair??? Don't waste time Its not going to be ready until next Sunday 🤣🤣🤣👻👻 Seriously now when i saw the thumbnail from distance i thought it was the part 2 of the Hamilton.😋
Very nice video. Well done for what you are doing 👍. Just a remark, for the wall of the barrel the oil 8212 is especially recommend for aluminium barrels. For brass barrels like you had there , 8213 would be more recommended 😉. Best regards and keep going, you are doing an amazing job
@panos vrionis, kalimera..same here, coffee and enjoying the video. @magic of wheels thanks for explaining where to use what oil or grease, highly appreciated. Wondering if you are going to replace the stem, looks like it has its best days. Have a wonderful Xmas and a healthy New Year
Thank you, I will have to replace rotor, crown, stem and crystal. I am sourcing the parts hoping to get them all. I wish you have a merry Xmas and Happy new year. 😊
Nice piece of work you have bro! Great job but we’re is the continuation of part 4 of the blog? I’m curious, Do you study horology or just an hobby? Keep it up! 👍😁
Thank you, This is just my hobby and I learn all of these myself. For part 4, I just got all parts needed a few days ago so part 4 will be released soon.
Great work. You can't learn these skills in school. Well, you can but you need to have an aptitude for it in the first place and you need to just jump in and do it over and over again gaining skill with each movement you do. "How do you remember where everything goes" ? Each part only fits logically in one place like a puzzle piece, that's how.
Exactly, especially when you are in the country where there is no school for watchmakers........it tooks me years to understand and be able to do this.
For hand setting tools, I just got a set of them. One set you get 4 units of the pusher 2 sizes each. So basically you get 8 difference sizes. for 2836-2 movement, yes the hands to fit in all have the same pivot hole size but the size of the hands itselfs are varied by the design. I select the size of the pushers from the design.

What tool did you use when seating the arbor into the mainspring!? That looks soooo handy!!

Very nice job! Did you also use v105 and v106 for lubricating the automatic module wheels?
Can't remember if i did on this video, but normally I would.

Hi.. what is the blue stuff you are using to lubricate the gears and mobement parts? Thanks
if you meant oil, it is moebius 9010
if it is grease, it is moebius 9504
Amazing work!
