  • Hi folks, another 'Shows you how' video, this time about fitting flicker free lighting to passenger cars/coaches that already come with factory fitted lighting. All the components are readily avaiable via Ebay from many suppliers so instead of links, I have given the specs for each part in the video.

    Well done, Steve. But as someone who remembers riding in the LIRR P-54 and MP-54 coaches, the lights did flicker quite a bit.

    Are you a dedicated Long Island Rail Road fan? If so, which era? I love your models, as they represent placed I knew growing up on the Island.

      @PRR5406 I am a bit. I model the NYAR kind of as it is nowadays and back about 10 years or so. However, I do have a growing collection of 40s/50s/60s era LIRR models and hoping to get some more current stuff as it comes up. Hope you are enjoying the channel and thanks for the comment 👍
