My aunt before she passed away 4 years ago bless her took us up to a place in scotland called Aviemore to a holiday home of my cousins mother in laws. I loved it and it was very cozy and spacious. Watching a whole 1hr of 3 episodes of Bewitched on here and I AM IN MY ELEMENT IM SO HAPPY 🤗 I FEEL LIKE IM HOME WHEN IM WATCHING IT. Enjoyed this travel day vlog. Slightly jealous to see that you flew business on BA, my wife wont let me book business - doesn’t see the perks as a plus to travel just an unwarranted expense. Hope you have a great working holiday and that the temperature warms up a bit for you.
Obviously it's a bit late now but I always take a picture of the odometer in the car before I leave the keys in a parking situation, or I leave them with a valet key if possible so they have very limited access to the cars functions

Yay, travel vlogs are always fun! What I do if I’m concerned about someone driving my car is I write down my current mileage, then I know! 👍 The new camera looks amazing, so I considered getting one, but the kit is $669 in the U.S., so we’ll see. 😳 Business class seems so nice, but unfortunately I’ll bet it’s pricey. ☹️ And thanks for the walk around tour, it was fun! Hope I can catch the livestream on Thursday. ❤️
The Holiday Inn's that i've been to in America, are usually a little nicer, and have a gym and a pool
Joel, those sunglasses are very Oasis-esque. If your hair was a bit different (flattened down all around) you definitely would look like a member of Oasis. But you're still a rock star regardless! 😉
Wow, what a thoroughly edited vlog! Little plane montage, the tour of the neighborhood. You look relaxed already! Even though it's a working, staycation sort of situation. Love the new change of scenery. I feel quite badly that our green space keeps getting devoured by our rising population. More important than ever to protect national and state parks from encroachment.

Oi. The holiday inn is near my house. Horley is on your doorstep, there is a new leisure centre not far away at court lodge, and the town centre has some resturants and there is a gastro pub nearby. Which would hace been an 8-10 minute walk. But a very good vlog.

Another really enjoyable vlog Joel. The BA menu looked excellent, way better than QANTAS these days. I love the idea of having arvo tea on a flight. I also like Gatwick Airport. So much easier to get to than Heathrow, but sadly all flights from Australia go to the latter. I’ve just returned from a fortnight in Cambodia, business class on Singapore Airlines. You can see why they’re regularly voted the world's best. If you ever have the chance, give them a go.
Thanks for watching! I thought Quantas would be more posh than BA!! Gatwick is a very nice airport - but less popular than Heathrow I think!
I’ve done SQ from Phnom Penh in business class (I think the final leg I got a very cheap upgrade to F). Trying to save a little bit of money, this years trip to Pphnom Penh I decided to go Y class. Unfortunately SQ was more than $1k against all other airlines. To I went CX in Y with the connection allowing daytime flights. On the way back I stayed at the Airport Hotel so I only flew during the day time. I found the CX A350 Y good quality, in fact the morning food was better than my last SQ flight in PE.

My family lived in Florida for many years before they moved to a historic house in woodsy Alabama. They had the big pools and hot tubs with the glass to keep 🐊s out. They always had mansions on or near golf ⛳️ courses. Now that they're older. They have woods behind their house with 5 bedrooms and 3 full baths and 1 powder room. I don't know how to say it in British English. 🤷🏻♀️

These new homes look exactly like a lot of the new home developments in my area of north county San Diego, CA. Prices are probably hugely different but the look is the same. The most recent one I have seen comes with a community garden as well.

I loved this vlog! As excited and pleased as you are with business class on an international flight, I would become a member to this site (oops, already did that) to see your reaction flying first-class on an international flight. I flew first-class from Boston, Massachusetts USA to Paris, France on Air France and the service, attention, amenities and food were SPECTACULARLY AWESOME! I enjoyed the flight so much that I didn't want to get off the plane. As you are HRH (His Royal Highness (HRH) Prince Joel in my mind, I feel that you are deservedly worthy of such first-class royalty-worthy in-flight pampering. One day when it happens, please vlog the experience.
I adored hearing Keegan belt out a snippet of "One Night Only" from the "Dreamgirls" movie featuring Jennifer Hudson and Beyonce, and a couple of bars from "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory". With his more than capable voice and piano playing, I would love to see a vlog where he does a showtune cabaret in the privacy of your home (but vlogged for all the channel members to see).
As for your parents' Airbnb home in Florida, you might want to pick up a stick for protection against feral politicians...oops, I meant, feral pigs, (sort of the same thing really) running freely in the area as you go for a walk in the neighborhood. Feral pigs (and feral Florida politicians) can be quite aggressive.

Do you like the rental car? That’s what I have and I love it. It’s big enough without feeling too big to park or do a U-turn. I’m glad the weather isn’t rainy. I talked to my mom over the weekend and she said it was pouring out but she is around 2 hours away from where you are (closer to Tampa). I hope you enjoy your work trip. It would be nice if you and Keegan got a house out there. Maybe you could spend winters there and go back to the UK during the warmer months. Although it would be harder with the dogs… Waffling… Anyways, I hope the weather stays nice and you enjoy your time away.

Joel business class is definitely the way to fly across the atlantic! I normally fly economy from San Jose or San Francisco, because it's only an hour down to LA or two hours to Seattle, but if I'm crossing north america and then the Atlantic ocean, I definitely want the ability to lie down and go to sleep 🙂 Some day I shall fly out to the UK....at least two trips, one to see the Highlander the Series and Highlander the Movie filming locations, and one to see a bunch of the historical sites/museums. 🙂

Agree. All that extra cost to heat and cool such a massive place, plus ask the extra time to clean it! Would not want that even if I could afford it.

I haven’t used Gatwick since 1995 and remember virtually nothing about it other than we passed the village of Wimbledon on the way to the Barbican in London.
Loved the interaction between you and Keegan on the plane. It was like two kids in the backseat of their parents’ car giddy with vacay excitement.
I’m glad you guys love Florida. I suppose someone has to. 😂 I’m sure that house is a great investment for your parents. I just don’t care for that part of Florida. Although central FL has some beautiful cold, tree-canopied springs for canoeing. I prefer the gulf coast to the Atlantic. Although Amelia Island is nice. Reminiscent of the Georgia coast which is more preserved and absolutely stunning. You guys would love Cumberland Island, GA where JFK, Jr. was married. Also Sea Island where the Bushes honeymooned and visited often. Most people know little about Savannah and the GA coast. Sssshhhh it’s a secret. 😊

Really like your channel. Flying BA business class also with my other half later this year to Tokyo. Long 13 hour flight so glad it’s business class! Will be the older club world cabin rather than the newer suite but hey as long as I’ve got a flat bed that’s the main thing! Also With the old cabin it seems good with the window seat and next door aisle if you’re flying with a friend or partner as you kind of face each other. I have to say me personally I do like to dress smart for a business class flight and look the part and then usually after the first meal service ill get changed into comfortable clothes usually pyjamas actually but it is nice to make and effort and look elegant rather than looking like you’ve just stepped onto a Ryan air flight! 😮 that’s just me. Have subscribed.

I imagine that housing estate isn't a cheap area, but even so, it's nice to see that they've made decent foot paths and decent width roads. New developments here in Australia are guilty of stuffing as many house blocks as they can in, building roads that are barely wide enough for 2 cars and no room for on street parking all in the name of greed and money making for developers. It looks really nice with the morning mist... oh and although I already 👍 the camera last video, I've quickly got accustomed to it, especially noticeable when you went back to 'discount' cam. To think it was just sitting in a box for weeks....
