McGregor vs Chandler Keeps Falling Apart

- On June 2nd of this year, the UFC made the almost unprecedented decision to cancel the much anticipated press conference for UFC 303 at the very last minute. For eleven days, MMA fans were essentially left in the dark, with only rumors and hearsay to go on. Finally, it was announced on June 13th that McGregor was injured and out of what would have likely been the year's biggest pay per view.
But as is often the case with MMA, recent events have a tendency to obscure the long and winding path it took to get where we are now. In this video, I'd like to shed some light on the complicated history of Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler and try to put the collapse of this fight into perspective.

Honestly, the only thing interesting about this fight is Meltzer's ppv numbers afterward to see if the casuals still buy into the swill the Irishman is selling now that he's got a leg and a half, has been soundly beaten in his last 3 of 4 and is in the waning side of 30, which is never good for fighters of lower weight categories.
I feel like the cracks for the UFC are starting to show Dana's preoccupied with slap fight bulshit and the company is just trying to make as much money as they can and the fighters aren't really doing anything to make a difference. I feel like the product is getting to saturated.

The risk of McGregor call off probably to much to risk with Max after the craziness of his last fight ( still in shock, damn time to rewatch). A one off against Nate or another fight with Dustin to stop the fuss about 3rd fight and find a winner is the only options that might make McGregor serious. Nate fight is the only McGregor fight I would watch now, I am done with Conor he hasn't been serious about his fighting since MSG.

There are many examples of fighters who just didn't know when to quit and kept going long after they didn't belong in the ring. Conor, Zabit and Henry Cejudo are a few examples of the opposite list, of fantastic fighters whose best years were wasted.

He wasn't/won't get any better fights than this - both financially and competitively.
