It’s still something that just baffles and frustrates me to seemingly no end. It’s fucking dystopian. Never seen anything like it. The good news is that time will not be kind to Jon Jones’ character and his precious, often self-referenced legacy. It’s already happening with videos like this and it’s only going to get worse and more common. Ignorance is bliss, one + maybe give the benefit of doubt,Him having multiple! Positive test makes the excuses to hard to believe. The go to excuse of tainted supplements is also a red flag. Guys like Bisping have used tons of supplements over many years and never had 1 + test. A man’s character can tell you a lot about will or won’t do. A guy who will use cocaine a week before a fight , hides under a ring to avoid testing, hits a pregnant woman while driving drunk and high, doesn’t check on her but runs back to his vehicle to grab his stash then flee, plus other things he’s done . Cormier being KOed with the head kick and crying afterwards in the cage is still the most heartbreaking moment in UFC hands down. That and Frankie being KOed in his final fight as well.
Thank you for this series! Revisiting all this stuff, I remembered how I used to find it odd that Jones never just embraced the bad guy role. But the fact that he always tried to present himself as this stand up person, while being horrible outside the cage, and the best mma fighter of all time, makes him a more interesting character.

All I can tell you is this: Daniel Cormier worked his ass off for 214. He never had a camp that good again, not even when he won the HW title from Stipe. I mean I’ve bought two homes in the time it’s taken, yet I’m in awe of your attention to detail on this. Your series will go down as the greatest analysis of Jon Jones from anyone.
While not as interesting, I would love to see a video of Mighty Mouse. With some similarities to Jon's story, a guy who also grew up in very tough conditions, had a very similar run of dominance to Jon, but always showed to be a great guy and a role model and despite this was screwed out of the UFC, only to return better in ONE
It’s so wild that one - a family man whose legacy only grows more appreciated and admired with time, considered one of the all-time greats of the sport (even at the time), and is a true mixed martial artist and consummate professional - was disowned and shipped away by their organization, in his prime, for a fighter, who (and I love you, Ben) is past their prime, whose owner didn’t even *like* before and since… While the other - who has done nothing but cause blemishes, PR headaches, and just be an overall pain in the ass, time and time again, for same-said organization - has been fought tooth-and-nail, end-over-backwards for to be kept around, promoted, and put the existence of entire fight cards on. All for something as small and petty as “not bringing in enough PPV buys as we’d like”.
All the gloating and taunting of DC being an old man by JJ is so stupid to me, the man is considered old in the sport even back then when he first fought Bones. You really felt the need to take PED"s when you have so many advantages of him anyhow? DC is a true champion in every aspect of the word, faced incredible adversity and persevered to become Double Champ. He's a good man.
Said it time and time again, Jones absolutely robbed DC of his legacy and GOAT status. DC would’ve walked through the LHW division and the HW division probably remaining undefeated throughout. He’ll always be my GOAT though I have no shame in admitting those Helwani and DC podcasts got me through the darkest times in Covid and I’ll always be thankful to him for that.
Let’s be honest. If post-champion Jon Jones was a cop, is there any doubt he’d be the DIRTIEST, abusive, law breaking officer on whatever city’s police force he’s on??? For some reason that idea of him just makes perfect sense to me.
Well, im just glad Jon has seemingly finally learned his lesson, and this will be the last time Jon ever tests positive for a banned substance again. Yep, I am confident that he will never test positive again, and especially not for the exact same substance the literal next time he fights.
It sounds almost insane to think of Jon Jones as a "what if," but Imagine if he hadn't effectively wasted about 6 years of his career... nobody else would even be in the GOAT conversation. That's the great tragedy of Jon's story.
@@BeigeFrequency I think Cormier is an amazing wrestler, and being a former wrestler I root for him, but Jones outclasses him in so many ways. Totally wish we could see that "hypothetical ideal Jones" where he actually took responsibility the first time and didn't act like he believes he is the main character in everyone else's movie. Appreciate your breakdowns as always Beige
@@BeigeFrequency Right, but even that hypothetical question is now tainted because who can truly say that he wasn't juicing the entire time and it was a huge part of his unstoppable rise in the UFC? Jones was never not consumed by a narcissists' sense of invincibility or his many vices. I suppose it's fitting that hubris cost him the legacy all his talent and physicality was primed to achieve.
Interesting facts. In gaming some of the most prolific AND most common cheaters aren't actually bad players. Its the good, to even amazing players that make the absolute best cheaters. Because when you're good at a game, and you understand it, its mechanics and systems, like its anti-cheats, you can find ways to get around being easily spotted. Further, a lot of really good players become entitled to good scores, or good times in speeding running for example. They feel records are OWED to them. I think a case can be made about Jon Jones where a similar situation is true.
29:30 I have to disagree, I think you could easily make the argument that Cormier is the better fighter given that he is a foot shorter and a foot less reach and Jon is juiced to the gills and he still performed pretty well against him, I mean they fought toe to toe for what 7 rounds total before Jones finished him? With like 12" height and reach advantage, younger, and on roids? Like, suuuuure that science project is a better fighter than DC..... Also, I feel that Cormier underperformed most of his career, he fought very pridefully, both against Jones and Stipe, it was entertaining to watch, and I think he liked showing he could stand up and go toe to toe with these larger strikers and it backfired. I mean dude is probably shorter than 5'11" and knocked Jones' mouthpiece out and had him going backwards. Steroids and all.
For sure. I looked it up recently and DC had a reach advantage over 1 person in his UFC career, Roy Nelson. Daniel is genuinely more like 5'8-9". The fact that he was able to hold his own on the feet against guys like Gus, Rumble, Stipe and Jones in spite of his massive reach disadvantage is one of the more impressive feats in MMA. He's probably the best hand fighter in the sport
@@BeigeFrequency Exactly! I actually was just speaking off the cuff, hyperbolically last night, I just looked it up this morning, he legitimately had a 1 foot reach disadvantage against jones, that is not even an exaggeration at all, that is a statement of fact lol ~8" reach disadvantage to Stipe as well, easily outsized his entire career, except against Poor Anderson Silva lol
@@thequinlanshow3326 Not really... Its quite objective actually. Given that he is at such a physical detriment to everyone he's fought, it literally proves that he excelled in skill and toughness, how else did he achieve the success he did? If we wasn't one of the most skilled fighters and toughest fighters of all time, how was he able to beat the fighters that he beat? I don't think there are many 5'9" guys that are KO'ing Stipe, or beating Rumble, Gus, Barnett, Mir, Derrick Lewis... He literally did it all on skill and toughness. Compared to Jones, I can think several fights where I'm confident Jones would have lost if he wasn't on Roids and enjoyed a significant height and reach advantage.
Hey Beige, i just wanted you to know that i love your content. Its 2nd to none when it comes to longer form content in my book. And not only that, you're a fantasfic artist? I mean being an amazing commentator alone is impressive but that with a fantastic artist? Wild.
4:10 - I don't think Jon knows what "dirty" means in this context. Dirty is putting your fingers in your opponents eye on purpose. What Cormier did was cheating.
rip rumble, but he was a cheat and the last fight against dc was nothing else but a disgrace where even his coaches walked out on him before he could make his speech.
I get the feeling Jones got away with a whole lot more juicing than he got caught for. I'd wager a lot of money he's been on PEDs his entire career, and just managed to usually stay one step ahead of the testing.
Jon Jones life is like if you lived life with a PS2 game shark disc. It’s fun until you realize you’re just having too much fun and it defeats the purpose
Jon Jones is the subject that keeps giving. You can do a part five now with everything from Vegas and the hall of fame night to his Heavyweight championship win. Crazy.

Can’t wait for pt5 w his controversial Reyes/santos wins, the Vegas HOF night incident, then his 3yr absence for “weight gain” & his return against gane where it seemed the entire mma world was so glad to have him back none of the other stuff mattered.
Hopefully it comes out soon 🤞🏼
Y'all JJ haters are genuinely pathetic
3:30 lmao even ariel’s voice crack knew it was garbage
Love the new content, but pumped for this.
Love the Jones Docs. Thank you!
The production on this Jones documentary was insane. Thanks Beige we appreciate.
Oh shit, hell fucking yes. Each of these has been so much more anticipated than the last.
Any news on the Genovaverse remaster?
It's somewhere on the docket
I've prayed for times like this, finally the jones docummentary continues
Truly the best of stuff
Also the fact that jon jones of all people calling cormier dirty is one of the funniest things ever
Well this has made my night. Thanks for the upload man!!
I'm glad Bone CK is able to brave the recession and fund these videos
The prodigal son has returned! Fuel for my workouts 🤘👏
Bro we have been waiting so long for this! Keep up with the great work!
Great work on the doc, your MMA lore knowledge is great. I’d be interested on a series on Dana white and his rise as a promoter.
Oh hell yes, been waiting for this one, Beige!
Good to have you back at it with the MMA videos, my friend…this ought to be good.
this series is the definitive doc on jon, so happy to see this in my feed
Look forward to these videos so much. Thanks for all the effort you put in to these, the rewatch value to your content is unmatched
I can’t tell you how happy I was when I saw you upload
I’m conflicted. The time you take gives us the excellent results of your detailed analysis and documentaries in parts of a series. On the other hand, it takes so long, I forget your RUclips name and find myself obsessively clicking RUclips search for any long video on Jon Jones hoping it’s your next part.

It’s so wild that one - a family man whose legacy only grows more appreciated and admired with time, considered one of the all-time greats of the sport (even at the time), and is a true mixed martial artist and consummate professional - was disowned and shipped away by their organization, in his prime, for a fighter, who (and I love you, Ben) is past their prime, whose owner didn’t even *like* before and since…
While the other - who has done nothing but cause blemishes, PR headaches, and just be an overall pain in the ass, time and time again, for same-said organization - has been fought tooth-and-nail, end-over-backwards for to be kept around, promoted, and put the existence of entire fight cards on.
All for something as small and petty as “not bringing in enough PPV buys as we’d like”.
@@michaeltom637 you took the words right out of my mouth
Is there any way we could get Beige to consider using "lawl", instead of "el oh el" when reading posts?
The way you edit and narrate the fights is amazing
All the gloating and taunting of DC being an old man by JJ is so stupid to me, the man is considered old in the sport even back then when he first fought Bones. You really felt the need to take PED"s when you have so many advantages of him anyhow? DC is a true champion in every aspect of the word, faced incredible adversity and persevered to become Double Champ. He's a good man.
theres absolutely 0 chance you accidentally take tbol
it just does not happen
if only DC could come back and take on Jon at heavyweight to complete the trilogy
DC is too old and his body was breaking down even back during the Stipe fights.
I just watched part 1-3 today at work, good day
Supplements do not get tainted by steroids. What an absurd concept.
god damnit beige i start college again tomorrow and you have to go and drop this right now
Crimson Mist.
Well I know what I’m doing for the next 67 min.
Yeah, it's really hard to think of a world where without Jones, DC wouldn't have dominated LHW and HW, maybe even simultaneously.
You are extremely good at painting portraits
Thank you!
its been 14 hours
Part 5 when?
These videos are always great, really informative
I opened the app to watch something specific but when beige uploads it takes precedence.

I always wondered what "sandblasting" prostitutes meant. Thanks, Beige.
Let’s be honest. If post-champion Jon Jones was a cop, is there any doubt he’d be the DIRTIEST, abusive, law breaking officer on whatever city’s police force he’s on???
For some reason that idea of him just makes perfect sense to me.
Jones as a cop is a terrifying thought.
This really is excellent stuff Beige. Thank you.
Well, im just glad Jon has seemingly finally learned his lesson, and this will be the last time Jon ever tests positive for a banned substance again.
Yep, I am confident that he will never test positive again, and especially not for the exact same substance the literal next time he fights.
it really fucks me up how good JJ actually is and he just cant get past himself
@ScudX no it didn't. He's the GOAT regardless
@@anti4330 no he is a deadbeat
Not many channels make me literally gasp when I see them post a new video
Will there be a part 5 ?
Yes, eventually.
Probably followed by a Part 6 after Jones inevitably Benoit's his family.

Maybe 6 years from now you can do the downfall of Paddy.....
😂
You have to actually be at the top to have a "downfall"...

LETS GO!! finally after a year of wait. Great work as always.
Brooooo the Vern Troyer in place of Rogan had me wheezing 😂😂😂😂😂😂
so hype to watch. sick videos always brah
I’m a simple man. I see a Beige Frequency video. I smash that like button.
Your voice is pretty similar to the youtuber "toldinstone"
My favorite part is the near perfect private school level grammar in John's DMs to Tyson Griffin. True, intelligent, angry, sociopath. One of a kind.
Can’t wait for the last episode! November can’t get here any faster for the Jones Stipe fight. And the retirement of Jon.
What i loved most about their feud was that they both actually listened to each other
Beige frequency Jon Jones video + dorktown video from secret base within an hour, this is heaven
Absolute delusion
@@thequinlanshow3326 He wouldn't have beaten DC if he didn't have a 1 foot reach advantage
You underrated af W series
BONE CK is Back!
Best Part of those series yet.
Turinabol is awesome!
rip rumble, but he was a cheat and the last fight against dc was nothing else but a disgrace where even his coaches walked out on him before he could make his speech.
Unlike Jon I'm not a narc, great stuff, these vids are awesome thanks dude.
Seeing this upload made me so happy. Great work as always, Beige.
I get the feeling Jones got away with a whole lot more juicing than he got caught for.
I'd wager a lot of money he's been on PEDs his entire career, and just managed to usually stay one step ahead of the testing.
Jon Jones gonna have a Chris Benoit moment
Jon Jones life is like if you lived life with a PS2 game shark disc. It’s fun until you realize you’re just having too much fun and it defeats the purpose
this is a really perplexing comparison lmao
Jon Jones is the subject that keeps giving. You can do a part five now with everything from Vegas and the hall of fame night to his Heavyweight championship win. Crazy.
Never go full Mike Perry.
Love the sarcasm on this channel.
